The quarters of Commander Hiroshi is a rather simple, yet large grounds in regards to her fellow shinigami. She has a small yet modest two floor pagoda located in the First Division gardens, which she tends to on occasion, but usually leaves that duty to her subordinates. located on the edge of a large koi pond, Shu is surrounded by nature and fine architecture, as this is her own personal escape from the outside world. Permission into her quarters is rare, and few are able to enter her quarters as they are often faced with a swift kick to the face before being thrown out of the division grounds by the commander herself.

Shu was relaxing back in her division quarters, as a brief, yet rare moment of peace was before her. This was good. Shu was a rather popular woman, partly due to her rank as the Captain Commander and dealt with on a daily basis a barrage of paperwork whenever she left her personal quarters. However, being in her own personal quarters, things were a bit different. She was left isolated from the outside world, as it was nothing but herself, and mother nature, living together in perfect harmony with one another. This was perhaps the only real place the Commander could ever get any real sense of peace nowadays, especially with the festival two days away. Shu sighed, as she simply wanted nothing more than some peace and quiet, as the mess that was going to be the festival was going to be an absolute mess. "Oh dear. Doesn't seem I have much time left to myself..." Sighing, Shu disrobed, as she remained in nothing but her undergarments, as her she laid near naked, with all her battle scars and tattoos visible.
However, this didn't bother Shu that much, as she was alone with no one else but herself and the plants and animals that roamed her personal quarters. Walking over to her kitchen, Shu reached over for a relatively large bottle of sake, as she reached over and reached for the bottle along with a cup for herself. She move over towards the back patio of her home, as she said down and looked out towards the koi pon. A small and brief sighed could be heard from Shu's mouth, as she sighed and reached for her sake and began to drink away. Shot after shot, Shu eventually drank away the entire bottle to herself, as she eventually reached a point of total intoxication. By then Shu had successfully drank the entire bottle of sake on her own, as she managed to pull herself together to her own room and land herself on her bed before passing out...
In her slumber, time began to pass, as Shu remained dormant. However, unknown to Shu, she ended up asleep for a total of two days. It wasn't long before Shu woke up and realized it was dusk. She awoke to the sunset, as her timing was perfect, as she was able to see the sunset, as she felt the warm rays of the sun hit her body for one last time before disappearing for the night. This brought her a brief moment of peace, as it brought her back to a more simpler time, one she missed dearly. Though this was shortly lived, as she began to experience a tremendous hangover. She groaned, as she remained laying on the ground, as she was oblivious of the fact that the festival that was being held for her was tonight. Heavy drinking took a toll on Shu, as she usually ended up asleep for days at time, but ended up lucky this time around. Eventually she got up and looked around as she noticed from a distance an unusual sight. There was a great amount of light coming from the distance, as Shu was a bit concerned.
These bright lights threw Shu off guard, as she couldn't help but wonder just what was going on. However, as she walked over to her window and looked out in the distance, she couldn't help but realize that there were several festive lanterns lit along with other festive decorations, as Shu's eyes widen in shock. "Crap! The festival is tonight?!?!?!" Shu rolled her eyes and she attempted to run towards her wardrobe, but tripped and fell face first on the floor, as she was a clumsy mess. All the commander could think about this point was scolding her division members for not waking her up as the festival was going underway, as she would have to end up going in a more casual and usual style of attire that she wore on a daily basis. She grabbed her standard shinigami uniform and tossed it on, but instead of wearing her traditional haori, she switched things up for an elegant red robe which she wore on top of her uniform. She reached for a elegant black conical hat, which had a veil on top, as she hid her face and prepared herself for the festival. She sighed as she looked into a mirror and made sure she was all prepared for the night. Once done, Shu sighed as she got up and prepared to make her way out of the division grounds.

All it took was a soft jingle of the rungs on her khakkhara staff to alert the Captain Commander of another individual’s presence, right before she opened the door and left her room. The gentle breeze blew that followed suit into the Commander’s quarters brought with it the faint scent of strongly aromatic tea leaves and freshly cut flowers, masked only by the rich and distinctly woodsy smell of the incense that famously permeated the boundaries allotted to the Sixth Division. Garbed in her luxurious red robes, the Kido Chief sat cross-legged on the Commander’s windowsill with her back to Shu, bearing the Bing Clan symbol in gold silk. From behind the flared collar, only the tip of Yulan’s hair could be seen, but as the woman shifted her weight to one side and turned her head to smile at Shu, it could be seen that Yulan had chosen her standard makeup palate of rich reds and blacks that made her face pop. ”Good evening, Commander.” Yulan purred, a sly grin on her face as she slid her legs around the windowsill and entered into the room. Her staff jingled with a strangely ethereal tune as she moved, and the prominent dragon's head near the centre of her chest was glowing ever so faintly, though not with the shade of purple that indicated she was using her reiryoku, but instead a shimmering red, as if the tattoo itself were commemorating this night of festivities..
Raising to a standing position, Yulan brushed the dust off of her crimson robes, letting go of her staff only to let it float a few feet away from her whilst she adjusted herself in her mildly revealing outfit. ”Prepared for the festival, I see?” She asked, a playful smile on her face as the Kido Commander took note of the empty sake bottles scattered around the room and the disheveled state her bed was in. With a raised eyebrow the Captain sighed. ”And it looks like someone decided to have a little celebration beforehand… without the courtesy of inviting me. I’m hurt. Genuinely.” She said, clutching at her chest with a pained expression in her eyes before Yulan took a hold of her staff once more and smiled. "I was actually on my way to attend the parade when I had passed by your Division Grounds.... it occurred to me that I hadn't visited in some time, though it seems this visit was, on the whole, somewhat pointless. Either way, how nice to see you again, Shu."

As Shu was preparing to leave her personal grounds, she couldn't help but stop as she heard a soft, familiar jingle nearby, as she couldn't help but grin. "Yulan..." Shu turned around as she approached Yulan and smiled. "Good evening to you as well Yulan." Smiling, Shu was a tad bit out of it right now, seeing that just woke up from her little 'nap'. Not to mention this killer headache she was currently experiencing was keeping her out of things for now.
Shu nodded as she was final prepared for tonight's festivities and noticed that Yulan was prepared herself for the festival. Though she couldn't help but chuckle a bit after hearing Yulan's remark. "Oh, that. That was from a few days along darling. I've been asleep for two days now from what it seems." Laughing, Shu couldn't help but sigh, as she realized that she forgot to go for her pre-festive sake shots. Chuckling, Shu told Yulan to wait for her for a moment, as she went to her kitchen and reached over for yet another large bottle of Sake and two cups, as she wanted to have some fun with Yulan before the festivities. Walking over to her, she smiled as she flashed the bottle of sake along with the cups she brought out. "Did you honestly think I wouldn't hold a small celebration before we attend to the main event? Come on now girl. Quit whinning and let's have some drinks before going to the main event."
Smiling, Shu passed Yulan a cup, as she sat down nearby a table and poured herself a shot of sake and waited to Yulan to sit down as she poured her another cup of sake. "Cheers! To good fortune, health, and prosperity!" Grinning, Shu spoke in a sarcastic tone, as she was looking for an excuse to enjoy a good cup of sake with a dear friend. Shu lately wasn't able to enjoy some proper one on one time with anyone, as she dealt with nothing more than a swarm of paperwork and other menial tasks that had to do with the Gotei 14, so having this brief moment of relaxing and having some drinks with a close friend was a nice change of scenery for once.
┏━━━━━━━━━┓ 未知の天使 The Unknown Blade Angel ┗━━━━━━━━━┛
The Kido Chief laughed, releasing her staff as she sauntered to the table and took a seat across from the Commander. Undoing the golden silk knots, Yulan slipped it her crimson robe off, exposing the black modified shihakusho underneath. Hanging her robe on the floating staff beside her, Yulan sank to her knees, letting out a relaxing sigh. Yulan eyed Shu, barely blinking when she took the sake from the commander and cupped it in her hands to warm them up. ”To health indeed…” She said, frowning slightly with her eyes fixed on Shu with a hint of concern in them. ”You know, Shu, I worry about you sometimes.”
She tipped the cup back, emptying its contents before setting the cup down. ”Two days?” She began, slightly bewildered at the thought of it. Pausing to get her mind straight, Yulan closed her eyes and sighed as the all-too-familiar warming effects of alcohol coursed through her body. ”I mean, I certainly believe you… I’m sorry to say you do look and smell it.” Yulan told her bluntly, averting her eyes for a moment as she poured herself another cup. ”A bath should take care of that, I’m sure… two days…” Holding the cup to her lips, Yulan shook her head before downing another cup.
”I think I know what you need… what a lot of us need, really…” Yulan told her, a sudden shift in her tone to one of playfulness. ”Tell me about your love life, Miss Hiroshi. Will there be any little Hiroshis to look after down the line?” She asked, eyeing Shu again, a foxy grin on her face as she spun the cup deftly between her fingers.

As the two drank their cups of sake respectfully, Shu couldn't help but raise her eyebrows as she heard Yulan's remark. 'Oh?" She chuckled a bit as she felt a tad bit embarassed to hear concern about her well being from one of her comrades. Though her grin quickly disappeared as Shu realized she had a rather strong odor coming from her body. "Oh my, how unflattering..." With a light smile, Shu got up and excused herself, as she disrobed with Yulan nearby, as she entered her personal bath, as she decided to enjoy a nice hot bath before preparing herself for the festival.
As Shu was cleaning herself off in preparation for the festival, she couldn't help but laugh after hearing Yulan's final remark about Shu and her love life. "I don't see myself bearing any children anytime soon to be honest. Between my responsibilities to the Gotei 14 among other things, I don't see myself having the time to just settle down with anyone, let alone raise a family of my own..." Followed by a faint sigh, the Captain Commander remained silent, as she stayed in her bath for quite some time in silence, as it seemed that this lack of romance in her life bothered Commander Hiroshi in more ways than she liked to admit.
Regardless, Shu eventually composed herself, as she finished her bath and got out, as she put on simple under garments, as she remained near nude, as she roamed around her room in search of a new outfit for tonight's festivities. Shu seemingly didn't mind that Yulan was present as she was in her mere undergarments, as she continued to search for something suitable to wear. Eventually she found an outfit similiar to what she wore prior to taking a bath, as it had the same color scheme, but instead had a different pattern printed on the outer robe. Shu decided to wear this along with a simple kimono underneath, as she got dressed. Adding a final touch, Shu reached over for the same conical hat which she wore before, as she placed it on her head, as the silk veil covered her face in a respectful manner. "Think this will do for tonight?"
┏━━━━━━━━━┓ 未知の天使 The Unknown Blade Angel ┗━━━━━━━━━┛
While Shu bathed, Yulan took the liberty in finishing the rest of the sake, waiting for its effects to kick in as she gazed around the room. The fact that the commander had undressed in front of Yulan did little to affect her as Yulan herself was notorious for appearing in the nude in front of others when switching forms between adulthood and childhood. Yulan mere sat and waited patiently, listening when the commander spoke and drinking every so often. ”Oh?” She asked, intrigued when Shu spoke of her love life. Raising from her knees, Yulan paused momentarily as she slowly regained her sense of balance. Her mind was swimming, but with a little willpower the woman reigned herself back into reality and leaned herself against the doorway of Shu’s bathroom, arms crossed. ”That is rather surprising, actually… one would think men are attracted to people of great influence… or perhaps it’s the other way around.” She teased, a mischievous grin on her face.
”Either way, it’s disheartening to say the least… to think, little baby Shu’s running through the division, causing a ruckus as all kids do… and with time I would’ve had little playmates too.” Yulan’s lips curled into the smallest of frowns, though her eyes deceived her with a glimmer of playfulness as the Captain teased her Commander yet again.
As Shu got out of the bath, Yulan motioned for her staff, waiting as it floated towards her before the Captain slipped her crimson robe back on. ”I’m sure when the time comes you’ll be a fine mother… me, on the other hand…” Yulan let out a loud ‘Hah’. ”Never will I hear my name in the same sentence as motherhood unless the words ‘is unfit for’ are between it… not that it matters, really. Love is overrated, lust is all anyone needs.” With the buttons done up on her robe, Yulan took one last look at herself in the mirror before turning to Shu and nodding. ”Much better… and you don’t smell anymore. Now, shall we?” She asked, motioning for the door with one hand as Yulan gripped onto her staff with the other.

Raising her arms, Shu yawned ever so gracefully, as she was finally ready for the main event. "Most men are honestly terrified of me to let their hearts fall for me. It's a real shame to be honest. Could see myself settling down someday..." A brief, yet peaceful smile could be seen on Shu's face, as she seemed rather hopeful for that day. Though that moment was shortly lived, as she returned to her usual relaxed and mellowed out face. Until next time it seemed for Shu. Sighing, Shu realized the two were late to the festival and nodded her head as Yulan pointed to the exit. "Please. I'm certain Gwen is going to kill me if she's beat me to the festival already..." Chuckling at the end, she knew that the rest of the captains and their subordinates were probably waiting for the two to arrive to the festival. [Exit]

Making no haste, Shu arrived with the Commander of the Kido Corps, the Soul King, and of course, both of his divinities. The First and Sixth Divisions had successfully cleared out the perimeter and placed up proper barriers to ensure that no one would gain entry to the Division grounds. Turning to Yulan, Shu only had one order for Yulan. "Yulan dear. Could you please cast a few barriers around my personal compound? We don't want any extra interlopers coming during the King's exit..." Smiling, Shu then turned over to the Soul King and the Divinities, as they simply looked at Shu and nodded their heads, as they prepared themselves to leave.
It wasn't before long that the the three stepped away from the two captains, as they walked over to a small opening in the garden, as the divinities summonned forth a special Senkaimon, one that they could only use to move between the Seireitei and the King's personal realm, as they simply turned to Shu and bid farewell to the Commander and her fellow captain. Simply standing there looking at the King, Shu couldn't help but sigh, as she was a bit disappointed to see the king leave so soon, but nevertheless understood the situation at hand and couldn't really do much at this point, as she watched the King leave along with his divinities, as she then focused her attention on the situation at hand with the Seireitei, as she awaited for updates on the situation at hand.

As Shu awaited for an update from one of her comrades, it wasn't before long that she was alerted by the presence of a hell butterly. It came from the captain of the 14th Division, Lorde, as she informed Shu of the situation. "So he got away huh?" Sighing in relief, least Shu didn't have to worry about any casualities from the festival. However, she still had to deal with the fiasco's that arose from the festival tonight. Getting up, Shu simply summoned forth 13 Hell Butterflies, as she sent out the following message to the captain's of the Gotei 13. "Captains of the Gotei 13, listen up! I need all of you to gather up in the First Division grounds immediately. We need to discuss recent events immediately All captain's are to report to my personal grounds immediately and come alone." With that, Shu simply sat down, as she called forth this rather unorthodox captain's meeting.

Hakua had received the Hell Butterfly and had responded accordingly to it coming to the Captain Commander's personal chambers. The light tapping of feet hitting floor tiles could be heard as she continued to the doorway to the Commander's door. All Captain's were ordered to come here, alone. That meant it was a secret meeting and one that was not going to be shared with anyone but the 14 Captains. She had had her large glaive drawn, split in half, so either side was in both of her hands. As she approached the door, she knocked on it with the butt end of one of the weapons. She didn't really wait for a response as she grabbed the door handle with a few free fingers. Walking in she noticed the Commander was nearest the part of the room with the most windows. Hakua faced her, placing her zanpakuto blade down on the ground, nearly stabbing it through. "Commander." She merely said as she awaited for her presence to be noticed.

After receiving the hell butterfly, Rook made his way to the First Division head quarters. He appeared to be the second person to arrive, after the new fourteenth division captain. Rook's greeting was a nod. Though he hadn't the opportunity to meet her, since she was the only person there she must be a straight up sort of person. Plus she was a fighter, which is also better than those obnoxious backstabbing politicians. Then, he directed his attention toward the Captain Commander."Commander."His greeting was simple and straightforward, but honestly there was a tone of urgency."In light of recent events, it would be wise for my vice-captain, third seat and I to return to the human world as soon as possible. The assailants could have escaped there and right now there is only one strong fighter stationed there."The whole festival had made him anxious about this, especially after Lynx showed up. Now he finally had an excuse to get away from Soul Society to go home. He rested his hand on his now unreleased Zanpakuto seated on his left hip and eyed the Captain Commander."I don't want to sound rude, commander, but I'm in a bit of a hurry to get back to my post. Is there any way this meeting could be brief?"He hoped that she would say yes. The sooner things got moving again, the better.

Shu was preparing to leave to the Captain's Assembly Hall, as she noticed the arrival of two captains at her own personal quarters. Looking a bit confused, Shu looked at the two with some confusion. "Uh, hello?" Confused, Shu was a bit taken back to see two captains at her personal grounds. "This isn't the meeting hall..." However, Shu would only come to realize that she accidentally called the meeting at her personal quarters, rather the Captain's Assembly Hall. "Oops..." Chuckling, Shu looked at the two captains who were quick to make it to the meeting point. "Oh dearm it seems I called the meeting in the wrong location. You two wouldn't mind relocating to the captain's meeting hall now, would you?" Smiling, Shu simply got up and used shunpu, as she moved on over to the meeting hall where the others were probably waiting for her. [Exit]
