The Amityville Train appeared to finally be working again, as Undead dorm residents and their guests were ushered on board and their luggage taken to (hopefully) be stored by impatient gnomes in uniforms. The platform hadn't been this busy in well over a year, and maybe several tears were shed by the conductor who made it a point to reassure students that the train's braking system had been thoroughly checked over for safety and that there would be no crashing on this trip. No sir! All stops will occur in an orderly fashion.

A skull sat smiling near the car entrance, lacking a body but getting around the disability quite neatly through the services of a playful Treat minipet, who wore it like a hat. Beside it stood Professor Emrys, who looked pleasantly bored and not very interesting to anyone, really.

After the students had all boarded, the Treat hit the button on the train's ickycom, and the skull began to chatter away, "Attention! Attention! It is I! Professor Beau Nez Brittel! And I have come to escort you on an adventure! The Undead dorm won itself an amazing chance to explore and experience the world! When I was a student we also had a house cup, unfortunately no one won that day, as the bodies piled too high and blood spilled too greatly for any one dorm to walk away the victor. Let us have a moment of silence for the fallen. Very good, moment over! There's no adventure to be found in the past, but only in the future ahead of us! And what is your future, you may ask? It is THE END OF TIMES!" The skull's voice boomed ominously, followed by a pleased chuckle.

"But no not really, through very close! We'll be visiting the city of Terminus! The fabled land where time and again, the creeple of Halloween tried to build a thriving culture in the wastelands, only to have it destroyed through war! Disaster! Betrayal! Tragedy! And many other exciting means! In it's current, and most glorious incarnation, the city that would not die has risen again, under the ground, and very aptly is becoming a new cultural center for Undead such as ourselves!"

The skull clicked its teeth in a manner that probably meant it was smiling, and concluded happily, "The train should arrive at Terminus in half a day. For the time being, please don't get so adventurous that you get expelled from the moving locomotive, but also do not be so boring that your neighbors fall asleep!"

Terminus was at first, mistaken for Termina. This got Frost very excited as he initially thought he'd get to see a few of his relatives and have a chance to show Shehk parts of his culture and perhaps persuade her towards future possibilities.

However, when he arrived and was told, no, it's Terminus no Termina, Frost huffed, folding his arms into his kimono and telling her that trains were not to be worried about. That and he wanted a to grab a window booth for them so they could watch the land change as they traveled.

"If they have a blood bar, we'll have to get you the local delicacy. Or I could always go hunting when no one is looking." His head rested on her shoulder, slightly slouching.

Opening a window would be good. They could feel the wind on their faces and let their tongues hang out and-
Oh she wanted to hold hands.

Wiggling his arm free, one laced his fingers with her own but not before draping half of his haori over her. His other hand tapping the table of the booth idly.

"You are as always, adventurous. I am sure that they will have made proper accommodations for yourself and others." He leaned into her. "Sometimes I wonder why we ghosts do not get granted passage to undead events. dead is..dead isn't it?"

Amrita stared at the interior of the train, scrutinizing it in the most awkward position she could muster. She had curled herself so far down in her seat that her back was practically on the bottom cushion, her knees bent and pressing against the back of the chair in front of her; it had been her attempt at making herself shorter, about the same height she had been in her first year. It looked incredibly uncomfortable, and it probably was, but she was too busy being suspicious at her surrounds, her expression pinched in thought.

"I think I've been on this train before." She announced after a while, mostly to the Demon who had been dumb enough to sit beside her (ignoring the fact that this particular demon had already been, in her opinion, dumb enough to agree to go on a trip with her). Someone then began to talk, but the patchwork didn't straighten up; either she didn't want to, or she was simply stuck.

"Sounds romantic~" Amrita drawled in a hushed whisper to her companion, rolling her eyes as their guide went on to talk about death, destruction and eventual rebirth. When he was finished she had a moment of silence to digest this information, before nudging Remi awkwardly from where she sat. "I should warn you that trains make me uncomfortable, and we're gonna be here a while..." Which was her roundabout way of warning - and apologizing - in the event she got annoying and whiny about it.

"No, I'm pretty sure it was this one..." Amrita insisted, looking up at Remi through the thick mass of her hair. She laughed at his guess on why she was sitting the way she was, and unfolded one arm to wave it at him in dismissal. "No, no, not yet anyway. That'll happen later. Buuut...I was small when I was on here last, see? I was trying to get a familiar angle on it. For reference sake." The hand that had been waving in dismissal changed tactics, instead trying to pat him from her awkward angle. Needless to say, her hand hit air a few times before smacking into his face. Whoops. "Thanks for offering to bite a train for me though, that's really sweet." There was another face pat. Maybe two, unless he tried to duck them.

"But I think I'm stuck now. Help?" Her other hand came up not unlike a kid asking to be picked up, albeit hers were at a more awkward angle. It was more fun to get help when you had it, and one of her favourite things to do was be a brat to Remi. He was one of the few she could easily goof off with, and she cherished every second of being a nuisance to him.

"Well, I'm not at the moment. But I might be later and then I'll need a snack," she may have whined a bit in that way a dog wanting food was prone to. Shehk's ears perked up at the sound of a familiar voice, continuing to lean against Frost as she peered to see who Snowman was talking to.

She recognized Amrita (who she had some questions for, but at another time) but didn't recognize her guest. "Amrita, Amrita's-Friend." she nodded to both of them in echo of the Wolfos.

Thezil tugged Tink through the crowds, hand wound in hers. His grasp was firm-- perhaps too firm-- because in his brief time knowing the ghoul, he'd learned she had the propensity to wander off, if not attended to.

"CarEfuL," he chided, tugging her closer as a nearby yeti almost stomped on the pair of them, disregarding the fact that he'd been the one to steer them in that direction to begin with, with his stiff movements and almost staggers. "THe tRaiN iS oVer THere."

He helped Tink board, and even though she was technically the same height as him without a head, the ghoul felt so much smaller.

"YOu caN chooSe WHere to SIt," he muttered, the skellyvision set crackling with white noise and a hint of chatter from the nightly news.
