Dawn Noir, Third Seat of Squad Ten entered her Captain’s office. The Seireitei was in lockdown. Dawn had considered using the chaos to escape back to the Rukon district. She discarded that idea. She fully believe that Vice-Captain Saitō would come after her. Besides this place was starting to feel like home. Still the alert level was unusually high.
“That’s what happens when four dead body show up. Two of them Captains and one Vice-Captain.”
“And the last one was the person we thought was responsible for the attacks.”
“He was responsible Natsunoyo. He was betrayed. Which means this is bigger than we thought.”
“They weren’t just killed. They were put on display. Does that mean anything?”
“Fuyunohi, these attacks weren’t personal grudges. Whoever did this wants to start a war.”
“What would you know about it brother?”
“War very rarely has a logical reason.”
“Captain Hirako isn’t here yet. Neither is Vice-Captain Saitō.”
“The Captain is probably still on his way from the Captain’s meeting.”
“How was Dawn the first one here?”
“I just finished a session in the dojo when the order to seal the Seireitei went out. I was closest.”
"Now what?”
“We wait. Captain Hirako will be here soon. He might not be able to explain what’s going on but he’ll know what he wants me to do.”

However, it was only paper thin and could barely be seen. Quickly it would open, sending out a large burst of spirit energy through the area. This large burst would quickly vanish into nothing as Daitachi stepped out of the void. There was nothing inside, complete darkness. His height, being the tallest in the Soul Society naturally, showed that he was a person of great intimidation. His eyes showed nothing but emptiness and emotionless distress. He was a being of great power and strength, which landed him in the spot as captain of this division. His eyes would finally move over to Dawn, which was another officer of his division. She was one of the very few that could withstand some of his great spiritual burst considering she was a part of his division.
xxxxxx"Hm?" He moaned as an acknowledgement to her being there. However, it was more as a 'Can I help you?' kind of hm in the same regard. His eyes then would move to the other side of the room towards his own chair. It had been specially fitted to his size due to his abnormal height. He made his way to his chair and sat down in it, returning his sight to the girl inside of his room. "Sit." He stated before pointing to the chair in front of his desk.

Dawn forced herself not to flinch when Captain Hirako appeared out of nowhere. Even after 50 years it still caught her off guard. So did his Reiryoku. Dawn forced herself not to cringe. She was his Third seat. If she couldn’t handle the pressure now how would she manage it on the battlefield?
Captain Hirako sat in the chair designed for him and gestured at the seat across his desk, “Sit.”
Dawn recognized an order when she heard one and, for a moment her old instincts flared up. Dawn gritted her teeth and crossed the room to the chair. She pulled it out and slowly lowered herself into it. She swept her cape out so she wouldn’t sit one it.
Dawn meat her Captain’s navy blue eyes, “I heard about the sealing of the Seireitei and was wondering what Squad 10’s response was going to be.”
Dawn adjusted her Zanpakutō as she waited for Captain Hirako to answer. Dawn refused to slouch and she crossed her arms in her lap. She also blinked infrequently.

It was then when one of the officers came with some tea in a tea pot. The woman poured the hot tea into the two cups before looking at Daitachi with a more flirtatious look. "Thank you." He said to her as he smiled and she walked away. He then looked at Dawn and down at her cup. "Drink it. It's good for you. That's an order." He said to her knowing she would have to obey it.

Captain Hirako answered after he finished playing with the pencils. “We wait.”
“Well that was anticlimactic.”
“Shut up Natsunoyo!”
“How about you both shut up?”
“Sorry!”
Dawn considered that as another female Officer came in with a tea tray. She supposed that was all that they could do. They didn’t have enough information. Dawn bit her tongue at the Officer’s flirting. Dawn would never understand why women did that. Dawn ignore the tea.
Captain Hirako looked at her then at her cup, “Drink it. It's good for you. That's an order.”
Dawn sputtered, “Captain! Do I have to? It’s cooked!”
Dawn sincerely hoped he wouldn’t insist. Dawn was not fond of cook foods. She would if she had to but she would not find the experience pleasurable.

His eyes not moving or blinking for what seemed like forever. "Very well." He replied as he drank his tea and down at her zanpakutos. "Your blades are special." He said sensing her spirit energy while sitting down looking at them. Daitachi never kept his blades on him. They were always off in another dimension that could only be accessed if Daitachi released a certain amount of spiritual energy. A sigh escaped him, showing that boredom was beginning to strike upon the large captain. His eyes beginning to close and soon he would fall asleep but would still be awake at the same time.
xxxxxx the meeting on the other hand wasn't as interesting as Daitachi wanted it to be. All of the fun went out when the squad 5 captain left the room. In all honesty he was being a child but sometimes you have to become a child to get what you want. You can't stay as an adult forever, so why act like it. "Dawn." He said before raising his head. His hair had covered his face once he did so. As he tried to blow it out of the way, it would fall right back down onto his face. Another sigh would leave his body. He opened a drawer and pulled out a bobby pin. His large hands would grip the fallen hair from in front of him, and would be pulled back, only to be pinned down by the bobby pin. "Your body language shows that you want more information. Even though you are sitting correctly, all though I don't know why, you body image can still be painted. Sit to what comforts you." He explained before getting up. "At the meeting we talked on he matter of the attacks. Right now the enemy is unknown, and we do not know what their strengths or weaknesses are. However, 2 captains and a lieutenant were pinned to the gates by their own blades. Seems scary but this enemy is out for blood and I like it." He said as his spiritual pressure began to rise to a point where breathing would be harder. It would quickly drop as Daitachi turned around. "Sorry. I got excited."

Captain Hirako sure had a way of staring. Dawn forced herself not to squirm. Did he not need to blink? Dawn’s eyes watered in sympathy. The Captain drank some more of his tea.
Captain Hirako put his cup down, “Very well.”
“See, You shouldn’t freak out over such little things.”
“Fuyunohi is right. It’s just tea.”
Captain Hirako commented, “Your blades are special.”
Dawn looked at him as she swung her katana to lie in her lap. Captain Hirako must have been able to tell when she was conversing with Fuyunohi to Natsunoyo. Dawn considered how to answer that.
Dawn said quietly, “Until Lieutenant Saitō came to recruit me it was just the three of us against the world.” Dawn shrugged, “It’s normal to me; to talk to them whenever I wish. Or they wish.”
Dawn could tell that her Captain was about to nod off. She was incredibly surprised when he told her to be comfortable. Dawn’s faced wrinkled in confusion. What did the mean?
“He wants you to slouch. He thinks you’re too tense.”
Dawn protested, “But slouching is bad for your back!”
“He told you to be comfortable. If sitting up straight makes you comfortable then you should be fine.”
“Shut up! He’s speaking.”
Captain Hirako’s Reiryoku began to increase, “Seems scary but this enemy is out for blood and I like it.”
Dan closed her eyes and focused on breathing. As Captain’s Hirako’s Third seat she could handle the intense pressure. However sudden burst like this took a few minutes to adjust to.
The Reiryoku faded and the Captain apologized, “Sorry. I got excited.”
Dawn nodded and responded, “It’s perfectly alright Captain. May I ask about the fourth body, the assailant? Did we learn anything more about who he was, or who he was working for?”
Dawn brought her Reiryoku in to sit behind her heart. She would remain calm until her anger was needed. Okay that was a lie. She couldn’t control her temper but she could try.

Who this person is, is unknown but he is strong enough to kill his own men." He explained before looking out the window of his office. "That is someone I would love to face. His blood would be painted throughout the Soul Society." He said in a serious but soft tone. What his third seat didn't know was that in battle, Daitachi becomes the most blood thirsty beings in the universe. Not even the Kenpachi herself could compare to his lust for blood. He would then turn around to face the woman before him. "Dawn Noir.... Interesting." He mumbled before opening his doors out to a small garden.
xxxxxx His body would twist to face the girl. "Dawn, what does your zanpakuto consist of?" He asked as he looked at her. He decided that it was time for training. He was going to train Dawn to the point of no return. He was going to help her achieve the ultimate stage of her zanpakuto. However, this training would take years to obtain and a lot of hard work. Daitachi gained his in less than a year but due to his abnormal amount of spirit energy it made it a bit easier for him. "Dawn, there is a stage beyond your shikai that can be reached through hard work and dedication. It is called Bankai. It is known as the final stage of your zanpakuto. Not many people can reach it but I think you can. Now, it is going to take a very long time for you to reach this stage but we will get there. Do you accept?" He asked.

Dawn stared at Captain Hirako in shock. It was clear he had a bloodlust. Dawn considered it for a moment and then shrugged. She didn’t quite understand it but she knew that it didn’t really matter. She herself had an addition to adrenalin rushes.
Captain Hirako had been staring out side but now he turned to face Dawn, “Dawn Noir … Interesting.”
Dawn’s forehead wrinkled in confusion. In the fifty years she had known the Captain he hadn’t once complimented her. Wait, that wasn’t true. He tried at the beginning. To put it simply Dawn hadn’t respond favorably so, he stopped. He hadn’t insulted her either. Whatever he was saying was something new.
The Captain asked, “Dawn, what does your Zanpakutō consist of?” Before Dawn had a chance to answer he continued, “Dawn, there is a stage beyond your Shi Kai that can be reached through hard work and dedication. It is called Ban Kai. It is known as the final stage of your Zanpakutō. Not many people can reach it but I think you can. Now, it is going to take a very long time for you to reach this stage but we will get there. Do you accept?"
“YES!!!”
“Shut up, Natsunoyo! Let Dawn think!”
The truth was Dawn couldn’t think. She stared at Captain Hirako without blinking. She had heard of Ban Kai. It was the first requirement to becoming a Captain. Dawn let out several noises that couldn’t be considered words.
Ban Kai! Dawn hadn’t considered it before. It’s just she hadn’t needed it before. Dawn hadn’t needed much power to destroy her enemies before now. It might come in handy now. Still it could take years to master. It might not be ready in time. On the other hand training never hurt. She made more noises of disbelief.
“I think he broke her. You broke Dawn!”
“He can’t hear you, you idiot!”
“He broke Dawn!”
Dawn found herself speaking, “Yes.”
Dawn made eye contact with her Captain. Somehow, over the years she had started to trust this man. If anyone could help her become stronger he could.
Dawn nodded as she repeated herself, “Yes Captain. I want to learn. Fuyunohi to Natsunoyo and I want to learn.”

He said before he began to raise his spiritual pressure to a point where his zanpakuto would begin to form before him. At this point lower ranked members would cringe in fear of this amount of energy. It was then when he looked at her. "Release your shikai." He said before finally getting in a stance with both his zanpakuto in hand. "Make my gravity unknown...... Kurai Tenshi..." He said before a sudden burst of spiritual pressure engulfed the area causing the members around his office to drop to their knees and begin to gasp for air.
xxxxxx His body seemed to become bigger. Not tall wise but more bulky as if he built more muscle. His eyes shifted to Dawn as he awaited her release. "Do not focus on how much spiritual pressure I have. Focus on your own spirit energy. Do not feel intimidated by my own energy. If you tune me out then you will be fine." He explained before increasing the pressure in the area, causing the seated members to drop lower to the ground. His spirit energy began to feel dense, as if pounds and pounds of weight were falling down simultaneously. He indeed had to have been one of the top 5 most powerful captains, considering his zanpakuto size and his own size as well. His katanas were a bit longer than 4 feet and his body just over 8 feet tall. He dwarfed every captain in the soul society, which made him a very intimidating being to face. It was now, when the training would begin and they would have to battle each other. Little did she know, Daitachi had a little surprise for her. It wasn't something she would like, but this surprise would change her life as a shinigami forever.

Dawn struggled to breath. Captain Hirako told her to focus on her own spiritual pressure. That was difficult to do when she was having problems staying up right. Dawn returned her sheathed katana to her back. It would be easier for her to draw from there.
Dawn closed her eyes and found the ball of blue and red spiritual pressure behind her heart. Slowly she expanded it to hover just below her skin. She let it pulse as she breathed; like a second heartbeat. Soon Dawn slipped into a light trance.
“Dawn, we really hate to interrupt.”
“But the Captain told you to release us.”
“Remember.”
Without opening her eyes dawn reached out to draw her Zanpakutō. Dawn brought it in front of her. She held the hilt with both hands.
“Dawn!”
Dawn pulled her hands apart as she said, “Burn the Ice and Freeze the Fire, Fuyunohi to Natsunoyo!”
A double helix of blue fire and red ice circled the blade. Dawn’s eyes snapped open as she grabbed her twin katanas. Dawn could feel the adrenalin rush though her veins.
Dawn asked Captain Hirako, “Now what?”

His blades now touching the ground. His abnormally long blades began to scratch the ground as he slowly walked towards her. After he reached the 10 foot gap between them his face changed from the kind emotionless captain to a evil smile as if he was some sick twisted being. It was more of an angry smile. At one moment he had no emotion then he had the face of a tormented soul. "Don't hold back. 100 percent. I want to enjoy this." He said to her before finally raising his blade. Quickly he flipped towards her closing the 10 foot gap between them. Due to his abnormal size this gap could be closed quickly. As he landed on his feet he would swing both blades diagonally from the bottom left side of her body. Since both blades were coming towards her the force would be very powerful. He was holding back this attack but if she were to block it the force would be very powerful.

Just then Captain Hirako swung his swords at Dawn. Dawn instantly used Shunpo to flash behind her Captain.
"I told you!”
“He just tried to kill Dawn! First he broke her and now he’s trying to kill her!”
“He is an enemy!”
That was the last thing Fuyunohi or Natsunoyo need to say. A cool calm had come over Dawn. She would not die today. Any thoughts of training had fled her brain. This man would destroy her if she was anything less than focused on staying alive.
Dawn swung Natsunoyo at her enemy, “Moeru Kōri!”
The scars on her wrists burned as she watched the red ice crystals form. She would not become the plaything of yet another man who thought too highly of himself. Running was out of the question; this demon would hunt her to the ends of the earth. Her only hope was to end this quickly.

It wasn't the fact that it was just a quick swing, but here was so much speed and power behind them that air began to actually become visible from the tips. This meant that his speed was breaking the sound barrier. "Gravity Destroyer..." He said before continuing his swing to meet her blades. As the blades met a strange tear opened up in the air. It soon turned black and began to become a black hole. Since this was a black hole the fire that began to form on his blade was being sucked away into the black hole itself. Since this was his own ability he was not affected by the force of the black hole at all.
xxxxxx "Come on now. Fight harder than that. This battle is going to be very long if you don't get out of this hole soon. I mean besides. If you die then you fail. You don't want to fail then I would advise you find a way out of this." He said before tearing another hole in the dimension and walking through it. This was ability was known as space step. A move only known by the people who have seen his abilities. They knew that once the rip closed that he was no untraceable. As he stepped inside the rip it closed behind him causing him to become spiritually and physically invisible to the naked eye. He then would return about 15 feet away from her as the office itself began to be sucked into the black hole.
