 Erika's Virgilia800/800 +100 ATK vs.  Jypsum's Mellow1000/1000 Quote: You will make an introductory post and roll a 100-sided dice during your introductory post. This post is basically you walking onto the stage once more with your Pokemon in a Pokeball or next to you. Then your opponent will do likewise, also rolling a 100-sided dice. Person with the highest roll goes first. HP/Attack bonuses count if your Pokemon has them. Pokemon that cannot evolve any further have 1000 HP. Pokemon that can evolve one more time have 900 HP. Pokemon that can evolve two more times have 800 HP. Now for every attack post, you roll one 6-sided dice which will let your opponent know how to react to your post. 1 = your attack misses, 2-5 = your attack hits for 100 damage, 6 = your attack hits for 200 damage. Even stuff that normally does not do damage - such as growl - will do a kind of unseen damage in that it will hurt your opponent's dignity or whatnot. Super effective/resistance/immunity/whatever do not count. Although please don't say you punch a Ghost Pokemon in the face. That's just not elegant - try to make all attacks seem reasonable and keep beauty/grace/cuteness/etc in mind. Also try to humiliate your opponent if possible - you are making your own Pokemon look good and your opponent's Pokemon look bad! At the end of every post, please include your Pokemon's HP. After 5 posts from both sides (10 posts in total not including the intro posts), time will be called and the battle will end regardless of if a Pokemon has fainted or not. You will be scored on both how much damage you have done, your general performance throughout the battle (so RP your best!), and your creativity throughout the battle. A response post from each side after the 10 damage posts in response to a KO or finished time is allowed to bring the battle to a culmination. Judges will post shortly after to let you know who won. If you do not make a post within 24 hours (subjected to change) of your opponent's last post, you are automatically disqualified and your opponent wins the battle. We will then alert you of your next battle.

Erika stared dumbfounded at the results. First place? Not second, not eighth, but first? A stray lock of hair fell before her eyes, but she did nothing to remove it. She whirled around to face Virgilia, who was conversing with Jeanne. "You did it, Virgilia! You got first place!"
Jeanne's eyes lit up at her trainer's statement, and she hugged Virgilia tightly. "You hear that?! First place! You're amazing, Virgilia!"
Virgilia felt the sudden urge to say, "Of course.", but she did not. Instead, she merely smiled at the raichu, and returned the embrace. "Thank you for believing in me." She turned to Erika, and even though she knew the human couldn't understand her, she smiled. "Both of you."
Erika grinned. "Arright! The next part is a battle." Virgilia's eyes lit up wistfully. It had been so long since she had engaged in combat with anyone! Her excitement made way for fear as she realized that would only hinder her. It had been so long since she had engaged in combat with anyone. Surely she was out of practice, she would make herself look like a fool. The lopunny began to shake nervously, but Erika put a hand upon her head. "Hey, hey! It's alright. No one's gonna hurt ya like before ya came to me. Mostly it's just gonna be a buncha pansies tryin' to make ya look bad. Just treat the battle like the dance you did before, try not to trip, and ya should be fine."
While the woman had been wrong about what she was worried about, Virgilia supposed the advice worked all the same. She nodded and smiled at her trainer, and broke off from Jeanne. "Wish me luck, Jeanne. We're going all the way." The raichu gave a reassuring smile and nodded eagerly. "Yeah!"
Brushing the loose hair aside, Erika lead Virgilia out to the stage, and the two awaited their opponents.

Jypsum muffled her squeal in her hands as she read the judges scores. "We did it! We did it, little bit! We're halfway there!" she exclaimed, dancing around her happy jolteon. Her mood quickly took a nosedive into ******** Town as she realized what the next half of the competition entailed. "We still have to battle though! Oh god oh man do you think we have a chance? Like, no offense, but that lopunny we're matched up with is like three feet taller than you and looks really experienced and-"
"Jolt!" Mellow barked, snapping her trainer out of her worry spiral. "Have a little faith, would you? There's no use fretting about it now, so lets just get out there and show them what we're made of!" she puffed up to show Jypsum how tough she was.
The redhead took some calming breaths. "Alright ok yeah I need to calm down. We can do this. We can do this! Let's go give 'em what for, Mel!" She puffed out her chest proudly like Mellow and the pair walked confidently out to their places on the stage.

Jypsum smiled shakily at their opponents. The young woman and her lopunny were starting to freak her out again oh god oh heck she needed to calm down frickfrickfrick-
She gave herself a mental shake and muttered "s**t, lets be dramatic." to herself before spreading her arms and addressing Erika in the clearest voice she could muster. "Well then, lets give them a show! Mellow, light it up!"
The jolteon darted towards Virgilia as her fur began to glitter with sparks. A Volt Switch would make quite a pretty spectacle for the audience...

Virgilia was sent flying by the electric tackle, and she did a flip in the air before landing on her feet. Nearly. The lopunny lost her balance upon landing and ended up flat on her stomach as Erika looked on in dismay. s**t! I knew she couldn't be un-klutzy forever! Thinking quickly, Erika called out a command. "Use Quick Attack, and follow up with Low Sweep!"
Virgilia got up into a running position and burst forward with blinding speeding, stopping just long enough to change directions, creating the illusion there were multiple lopunnies surrounding Mellow. One by one the illusions faded from sight until only one Virgilia remained, and that too disappeared before reappearing behind the jolteon. Dropping low, the lopunny spun around, trying to kick her opponent's legs out from under her.

Mellow hit the ground with a yelp. That bunny was fast! She quickly rolled away and got some space between them before circling warily. Jypsum bit her lip. "Use Double Team and get close, Mel!"
Mellow concentrated and in a blink there was pack of small jolteons milling around each other on the stage. They weaved between one another, never standing quite still. That and the mottled pattern of their coats made it difficult to follow any individual's movements. Suddenly, they rushed towards Virgilia and swarmed around her, darting in and out of her personal space. Within the mob, the real Mellow readied her fur for a side-swiping Pin Missile attack.

Virgilia tried to keep track of which jolteon was the real one, but couldn't. It was moving much faster than the lopunny was moments before. Erika bit at her lip. Virgilia had to dodge somehow, but there was no way to tell which Mellow was the dangerous one - fleeing might lead her directly into her path, and all of them were heading for the lopunny as it was. Thinking fast, Erika called out another command. "Jump out of the way!"
Virgilia crouched down as the multitudes of Mellows charged at her before rocketing into the air. The sudden movement allowed Virgilia to avoid all of the jolteons, and she landed safely out of the way. Turning back to the jolteons, she gave a mocking curtsy.

Mellow huffed as her plan was foiled, though she had to admire the graceful ark the lopunny's escape followed. Getting that kind of height sure made jumps look good.
"Spread out and show her some sparks!" Jypsum called to her pokemon. The knot of jolteons dispersed, forming a rough semicircle around Virgilia. Their blue eyes glowed as the atmosphere around the stage became oppressive. With a sharp yip, a lightening bolt tore down form the ceiling aimed for the tall rabbit.

There were many things that Virgilia had no chance of outrunning, and a gigantic lightning bolt summoned from the sky was one of them. The electricity coursed through her body, causing her fur to stand on end before an explosion of power sent the lopunny flying away. Still rattled by the hit, there was no way she'd land in a fashion anyone would call graceful outside of sarcasm. She hit the wall hard and slumped to the ground.
"Lady Virgilia!" Jeanne screamed from behind the curtain, trying to will herself to move, but the memory of those eyes locked her legs in place, shivering. "Please, get up!" Virgilia looked up with hazy eyes as she heard the raichu's plea. That's right.... My servant is watching.... The lopunny struggled to her feet, her legs shaky, still stunned from the thunder. Steadying herself, she looked to Erika for a command.
Thinking as quickly as she could, amazed that Virgilia had gotten up, Erika called out another order. "Speed up with Quick Attack and then use Jump Kick!" The lopunny nodded to her trainer and then she was off, zooming around the room before leaping towards the wall. Using the wall as another jumping point, she launched herself at Mellow, leg extended.

As the kick hit home, the false jolteons disappeared with a yelp. Mellow tumbled across the floor, bouncing a couple of times, before skidding to a stop. Her ears flicked back as she regained her footing at the other end of the stage. She was spending a lot more time on the ground than she liked.
Jypsum tried not to let on how worried she was for her little electric type as she called out again. "Mel! Pin Missile and then Volt Switch to make it sting!"
Mellow arched her back and sent a barrage of needles toward her opponent. A fraction of a second after them she she added a jolt of electricity, charging the sharp pins so they sparked as they sailed for Virgilia.

The wave of electrified needles was spread too far to dodge completely, and they stuck into Virgilia, electrocuting her. Staggering, she fell to a knee, but she continued to look defiantly at the jolteon. "Get in close, take out its legs, and hit it on the way down!" Virgilia's ears perked up at the sound of the command and she burst off, flying at Mellow faster than ever. Sinking low, she spun around as she reached the jolteon's legs, then tried to drive her knee into her opponent's jaw.

Sharp teeth clacked together as Mellow was struck. The lopunny's knee sent the little jolteon flying and she landed heavily a few feet away. She tried to regain her footing but her head felt like it was spinning like a top.
Jypsum could see that her jolteon was nearly done for. Ah well, better go out with a bang, right? "Mel, use Thunder!"
Mellow tried to concentrate on Virgilia as her vision swam. Her eyes glowed once more as she put her all into one more blast of lightening.

Virgilia tried to run away from the thunder attack, but she couldn't get very far before it struck. Struggling to her feet, she clasped her hands together without waiting for Erika's orders. She whispered softly under her breath."Come, try and remember...." A wave of light radiated forth from the lopunny before disappearing. Sparkles began to float up from the ground and into the sky all around the stage. Virgilia felt the pain leave her body, but a crushing wave of exhaustion fell over her.
Realizing that Virgilia was reaching her limit, Erika decided to stop with the combination attacks. "Quick Attack, now!" The lopunny took a running position, but the exhaustion made it so that she couldn't go as quickly as she was before. She tore off with still respectable speed, however, and threw a punch at the jolteon.

Mellow managed to roll out of the path of the lopunny's fist at the last moment. Before she could make it to her feet to respond, the chime sounded signalling the end of the match. She gave a small sigh of relief and smiled a bit woozily at Virgilia. "You're really good. Good luck in the judging!"
Jypsum walked out onto the stage to scoop up her jolteon. "Good job little one, Jeo and Cas will be proud." she muttered to her. She inclined her head politely to Erika and Virgilia. "You are a wonderful team! Thank you for the match."

Virgilia slowed to a stop as the chime rang, signaling the end of the battle. Breathing heavily, the lopunny turned to her opponent and smiled, curtsying sincerely this time. "You were also fantastic. Thank you for this opportunity to relive the past." Finishing the curtsy, she stumbled and began to fall, but Erika caught her hand and raised it into the air to applause. Virgilia looked back to the wings and saw Jeanne smiling and smiled back.
Erika turned to Jypsum and grinned. "It was fun, Red." Kneeling down, she picked up the lopunny, much to Virgilia's chagrin, but she could do nothing to stop her in her current state. The woman turned and waved as she walked away.
