 Purple Haze had some important things to talk to Midnight Song about. Though, she wasn't sure how to start the conversation. She wanted a family, but wasn't sure if it was too soon or not. She needed to ask him and see his ideas on the matter. Of course, it wasn't a topic that she was so inclined to have yet. She was scared he didn't want kids. Or maybe, they couldn't have kids? There was many things she didn't want to face, but it was something she had to do.
She paced back and forth in front of Kesikas. She had already talked to her about it, and Kesikas always pushed her to talk to him about it, and now it was the time. It had been a while, a long while, since they had been in this place, and she had grown accustomed to everything now."Calm down," Kesikas started as she sat there watching her friend move back and forth. Crazy how this was going to happen. Kesikas was gonna be an aunt and she was excited. Or at least, she hoped she was gonna be an aunt. She wanted to help raise the kids, naturally, and help with everything. She loved kids, though she'd never been around ones that had teeth and claws before. No matter, she was sure that things would be just the same.. "Everything will work out just fine." She nodded. "Relax."

 Midnight song had no idea what was about to be asked of him. he really had not put much thought into having cubs and raising a family. he was so content with just being with Purple Haze that cubs had never crossed his mind at all. being so carefree and just a all around childish goof, it was easy to see why it never had even though he was mated to Purple Haze. humming along as usual, he was wandering a little like he usually did when he suddenly noticed Purple Haze pacing about. his humming stopped and he tilted his head slightly as he wondered what was up with her. so being himself he just went up and bluntly asked. " whats going on? why are you pacing about?"

Purple haze basically screamed and jumped when she heard his voice. She hadn't expected him this soon, rather, she hadn't expected him at all. She sighed and laughed as she looked up at him with a nervous look upon her face. She gave Kesikas a glance before looking back at him. "Oh! You scared me, Midnight song" She said with another chuckle. The last thing she expected would be to actually talk to him about this.
She took a deep breath and looked back at Kesikas, though words could not form to her mouth for the moment, instead she pleaded silently at her little friend hoping she would have the words for her, something to encourage her through this. She was scared beyond all belief at the moment. Though, why should she be?Kesikas made a nudging motion to her friend before she looked towards Midnight song with a laugh. "Oh! Purple haze has something to talk to you about" She said with a nod. "Don't you, Purple..." She said with a mean look towards her friend. If she didn't just get it out and be done with it, Kesikas was gonna kick her or something.. Okay, she wouldn't do that, but she'd want to!Purple haze swallowed hard as she looked at her friend getting no help from her. She smiled back at Midnight song. This was tense, almost as tense as it had been when she first met him. She was so nervous he'd not like her when she approached him so long ago. And now look where they are! "Well, That is correct." She nodded as she hesitated, but moved towards him and sat down. "Sit down, Midnight" She said trying to get past her nerves.

Midnight song crouched low with pinned back ears from the shock of purple haze freaking out when he spoke. it took him a moment to calm down as she spoke more. "i'm sorry i scared you. i didn't mean too." he took his own deep breath as he calmed down from her little freakout of him scaring her. " ummmm ok....." sitting down, he was kind of freaking out on the inside now as he wondered what in the world she would want to talk to him about. having thought things were going great, he couldn't think of anything she would want to sit him down to talk. trying not to panic, his mind never went to the fact that she might want to talk about their relationship and adding kids into the mix of things.

Perhaps she was going about this a bit too seriously, and probably freaking out Midnight song, but that wasn't really what was on her mind and she didn't think she'd care even if it was. This was a serious thing! She needed to talk about it, but didn't know where to start. She twiddled her paws in the sand they were on and looked from him to Kesikas. things weren't going to be as easy as she wanted and she was seeing that now. She took a deep breath and let it out slow.
"What.... do you feel about cubs?" she asked him, her eyes closed and she was dreading the thought of whatever was going to come out of his mouth. Her tail flicked and she peeked one eye to see if he was going to do anything... Like run. She'd imagine he'd be the type to run from her the moment something like this was brought up.Kesikas rolled her eyes and felt like perhaps she wasn't gonna be needed here, but she stayed. More for support for Purple Haze than anything. It was more than obvious that she needed someone there that wasn't Midnight Song. She sat down in the cool sand a she moved her eyes from one lion to the next. Silly creatures, lions. She ended up wondering how she got mixed up with them in the first place.
However, she was glad that they hadn't tried to eat her yet. That wouldn't be very good at all. Perhaps, lions were too bad when she saw it at that. She sighed to herself and waited patiently.

Midnight song watched and waited as she seemed to be getting all serious on him which did freak him a little. but despite wanting to run off from a serious situation, he stayed to hear what she had to say. taking in another deep breath, he almost fell over when she asked how he felt about cubs as he had never thought about them or been around them all that much. " ummmmmmm...... i don't know." he felt this was something he had to be totally honest with her about. " i have to admit i never really been around cubs. but i guess i wouldn't be opposed to the thought." it then hit him that she might be asking cause she wanted cubs of their own. " you want cubs don't you?"

Her heart dropped, she was afraid of that answer almost as much as she was afraid of him saying he didn't like cubs. What was she going to do now? She wanted to panic, but she didn't. She let herself calm down a little bit and she gave him a nervous smile. What was she suppose to say now? At least he wasn't opposed to it, but what if he decided he didn't like cubs after they had some? Oh noes, she was over thinking everything again.
"...yes" She managed to squeak out of her. She wanted kids, but she wouldn't force him to have any if he didn't want to.... No, what was she saying? Yes she would. She didn't know why her voice resulted into a squeak, but hey, at least something came out, right?Kesikas shook her head at that... Well at least they were getting somewhere. It was quite entertaining, now that she thought about it. She could almost grab a nice mouth full of grass and eat it slow as she watched the two interact. It was clear their attention was no longer on her, so she could slip away if she so desired, but where was the fun in that. Her eyes got excited and wide as she moved her head from one lion to the next.
What was going to happen, where was this going to go, why was it happening? Just some questions she suspected someone would ask if they happened to see them. Some of them were ones she was already asking and waiting to find out. Her tiny tail seemed to wag back and forth.

Midnight song was usually oblivious but right now he could tell that this whole thing was making her nervous and it took her a little to give him a answer. though to him it was more than obvious that she wanted cubs of their own to rise. he wasn't exactly sure he would make a good father or be good at raising cubs but he felt that at lest Purple haze would be great at it. " if you think we both are up to the task, i don't think it would be horrible to have some little mini us running about." he couldn't help but give in no matter if he felt he might turn out to be a horrible father seeing how he was such a derp most of the time. making her happy was what he wanted to do and if she wanted cubs he would.

Purple haze didn't know if she could freak out yet, she took some quiet breaths and hoped that he didn't see. Is he agreeing with her because he knew she wanted kids? Well, that was easier than not agreeing? She gave him a nod but nothing came out her mouth. She wasn't sure what to say. She had expected something more, perhaps, or maybe she expected less?
"You..'ll be a great dad." She said finally mustering up some words to say. Everything was moving smoother than she was making it seem. Of course, she was just worrying about every possible wrong out come that could happen. That was what she did best sometimes. Finally she dropped her head and took a deep breath again and looked back at him with a smile. "Yes, let's do this."
"Not here!" She said quickly... "I mean... later."Kesikas broke out in a small fit of giggles at the last bit. Oh man, oh man, these two.... She couldn't help it. She had to leave them before she died from unable to breath from the laughing. She tried so hard to keep it in, but now she couldn't help it at all. She shook her head and hopped a few bits before trotting off in her own direction. It was time for those two to have their own time together.
Kesikas would find something to do in the mean time, something to give her some time to think over what she would do with little cubs. One thing was for sure, she'd make sure they didn't eat any of her kind. Make them believe there were special and nasty tasting.

Midnight song couldn't help but smile when she said he would be a great dad and could only hope to prove her right. he was about to say she would be a great mother when he suddenly started laughing when she said "lets do this, not here! i mean later". any worries he started to have about kids were gone for the moment with how silly his mate was being. " yes we will do that later." his laughter went to a chuckle as he calmed down his laughter. " i know you will be a great mother. and i suppose we should do whatever preparing you do for cubs."

Purple Haze didn't notice that Kesikas had already left. If she could, she would be blushing at the fact of what she had said to Midnight song. How silly was she being? Crazy woman silly, that was what. She gave him another nervous smile as she realized she didn't know a thing about cubs. Her eyes went wide and she nodded at him, squeaking, and ended up running from where he was to go find out what she needed to know when preparing for a cub. She may just be over her head on this one.
Over thinking it like she normally did.
