 Purple Haze was bored, it was plan as day to see. She sighed as she flopped into some sand and played with the grains with her claws. She hadn't seen Midnight song all day and things were getting boring. She hadn't seen Kesikas all day either. She wondered where it little friend went, but was sure she was fine. She hadn't worried too much on what Kesikas was doing. Most lions knew she was Purple haze's friend and haven't messed with her at all.
She sighed... "Nothing to do!" she murmured to herself. She smashed her paw into the sand, causing a bit to fly everywhere, but that seemed to amuse her a little bit more, as she did it again.

 Midnight song was actually bored as well and so he went around in hopes of finding where his mate Purple Haze was. whenever he was with her he was never bored so he figured while he had nothing to do as a fortune teller at the current moment, that he would seek out his mate. he didn't know what they would end up doing but he figured if he was bored, he might as well bug Purple haze since he knew he kind of didn't spend enough time with her. humming along, he went in search of his mate.

It didn't take long before she had noticed her purple and black lover pass by as she lay there bored. "Midnight!" she said as he seemed not to notice her. She stood up and shook her body of any possible sand that might had been on her. She wanted to tell him a story, or him to tell her one. Though she was far better at it than he was, as that was what she did with her time. Dancing, singing, and telling stories to those that would listen in the pride. Mostly during events of sorts.
"Where are you going?"

Midnight had a big goofy grin when Purple haze found him. he had been looking for her so he was pleased it had not taken long. " i was looking for you!" going right up to her and giving her a nuzzle. it was very clear he was glad to of ran into her just now. " i figured cause i had nothing to do and was bored, that i would go off and find you so we could do something." he really was bored and was hoping that his mate would come up with some grand idea for entertainment. though honestly it really wasn't that hard to entertain him and distract him from things as he was such a flaky one when it came to anything but not on purpose.

She hadn't expected the nuzzle at all, but gave him a nuzzle back without any hesitation. He had a similar idea that she had, maybe. Perhaps they were two minds that think much alike. Or they were so different that sometimes they ended up thinking alike? She wasn't sure, nor was it important. "Then what do you want to do?" She said as she looked at him with child-like playfulness.
She wanted to do whatever he wanted to do, and now that he said he wanted to do something, maybe he had something in mind. Of course, if all else failed she could sing or dance or tell some sort of story. She didn't sing too well, however.

Midnight song wrinkled his muzzle as he tryed to think of something for them to do. he usually was pretty good at coming up with things to do and telling silly fortunes but today it seemed he was off his game in thinking of something silly and random for them to do. "i have no idea to be honest. do you have any ideas that might be fun?" practically wiggling about in place, it was clear as ever that he was wanting her to come up with some grand idea instead of him doing that.

He clearly wasn't at all good at this. Always leaving her up to the decisions, and she wasn't even very good at them! Decisions were hard, but she had to make them from time to time. She nodded to herself as thoughts flowed threw them. Her tail swished back and forth as she looked to him than to the sand.
"Have you ever told a story before?" She asked him curiously. Maybe this could be her lesson in how to be a mummer. Of course, he had much better things to do than that, but it was a fun idea at least. She smiled at him with a wink.

" ummm i don't think so..... well maybe i guess cause i tells fortunes i do kinda tell a story each time." Midnight song had never thought he told stories til now. when it came to his fortune telling he always had fun with them even though honestly he had yet to be any good at it. " what about you? have you told any stories?" he was curious if his mate had ever told any stories to anyone at all and wondered if she was good at it. he had always enjoyed a good story.

That was a thought, she'd never saw fortunes to be much of a story, but now that he pointed it out it was a story of complete truths. She laughed at him when he asked her. "Of course, I tell stories, and dance, and sing... Though my singing is horrible." She added now realizing she probably shouldn't have said that, but that wasn't too much of a problem, it would shave him the hassle of having to listen to her sing.
"Though, they're not true in the sense that you tell them." she said in a nod. "More like legends."

Midnight song's eyes went wide with interest as she talked of telling a story about a legend. he had never gotten to enjoy a story like that and now he was highly interested in hearing one. " would you tell me a legend?" practically wiggling in place where he sat. it was clear he was overly excited to hear a legend about anything. grinning, he eagerly awaited to hear this amazing legend.

Oh noes, now it was up to her to keep them entertained. Okay, so it wasn't so bad. "Oh, a scary legend, or a good one? " she asked him carefully. It was almost like telling a child a story, and she wanted to make sure he knew exactly what he was getting himself into. She wanted him to pick something before she started. Her tail flicked back and forth as she thought up some ideas.
Of course, she didn't know what she was going to tell first, but she had a list of a few that would work for when he gave her the right answer.

Midnight song was excited for any type of story but he wasn't sure if he wanted a scary one though. " how...about...a legend!" a legend sounded more like a story he would enjoy over some creepy one. he felt as if a legend should be filled with adventure and just pure awesome thrill. so as he sat there it was clear with his wiggling about in place that he was wanting to hear a cool legend already. never one to hid his excitement, he did not think about how he had put his mate on the spot. but no matter he was going to get to hear a call legend!

That really didn't answer her question, but she decided a good one would be best. She thought for a moment letting the idea roll to her brain. "There was once lived a lion so desperate for adventure, " she started in a scary tone, though the story wasn't very scary at all, though she couldn't say it was going to end good for him either. "So much so, that one day he found himself wanting to venture out into the deadly waters we know today as the ocean." She went on. "He found several fallen logs and strapped them together with sea weed the best he could." the best any lion could, she figured. "When he thought it was good enough, he set out into the deadly waters, not really knowing what he was going to find."
She took in a deep breath. "When all hope seemed lost, he found himself alone with no land in sight. He drifted off to sleep, but when he woke, he was underwater." She started. "At first the lion panicked, but soon he realized that he could breath under the water." It was a crazy thought, but she was flowing with what popped to her mind at first. It wasn't a real legend, not yet anyways. "He looked about and finally realized he was no longer a lion!" She said " He looked to his paws to find strange furless paws! They had suction cub thingies on them that seemed to help him move along the sea floor."
"He realized he had turned into a sea creature from his curiosity of the world around him." she said deciding that was a good place to end. "he ended up venturing all over the sea floor, happier than he had ever been on land." She beamed at her short story.

midnight song was like a little cub the whole time with his whole attention on her. his eyes were wide with wonder as she told the story and would make gasp sounds in shock as she talked of a strange lion being turned into a sea creature. when she was done though, he did pout a little as he had not wanted it to end. " that was a great story!" having enjoyed it along, he then gave a goof grin. " but now i wonder if i ever want to see the sea anytime soon. i don't want to become a sea creature with suction cup things!" chuckling, he now wondered if he could contain his curiosity of things as he didn't want to become a sea creature or be turned into anything weird! but then again he probably would end up forgetting the story and be as curious about things like a little cub like his usual self.

"it's only if you try to venture out into the ocean!" She loved it when others believed her stories, especially when it was quite obvious when they weren't true. Midnight song was always good at making her feel better even with her stories, as show here. She decided perhaps she should tell him her stories first, then use the ones he liked best on the cubs when she told them stories during events to keep the entertained.
"But that's all I have for now!" She said as she pawed at him. "Want to get some food?" She asked him.
