Alex was back at the same playground Luka had carried him to - though this time, he was a) dressed for the weather and b) having quite a bit more fun.
The fact that he was drunk off his a** probably contributed to the fun-having, all things considered.
He'd stolen a bottle of vodka out of the back of his parents' liquor cabinet, and upon confirming that it was neither really expensive nor likely to kill him, had taken it to the playground and drained almost all of it. It was somewhere in the haze of being really ******** plastered that he decided the monkey bars would be an excellent idea, though he wasn't quite as dextrous as usual - so he was barely clinging on, hoping his grip didn't slip.

Luka stretched his hands far over his head as he slowly walked home. His classes for the night where finally over and he was ready to do absolutely nothing. Class was long and boring, which left him tired and ready to do nothing. Deciding to take a short cut, Luka ducked down a path that lead past a park and a play ground for kids.
Upon arrival at the playground however, Luka was surprised to recognize a familiar mop of blue hair swinging off the monkey bars. Albeit haphazardly. "....Alex?"

"Lukaaa! Heyyyy~" Alex said. He'd shifted so he was hanging upside-down, and doing a much better job of hanging on with his legs than with his hands. He waved cheerily, beckoning the greenet over. "Theere's vodkaaaaa," he said, his voice thoroughly cheery as he gestured by the base of the monkey bars, where he'd left the mostly empty bottle.
"Not a lot but it's theere~"

Like a moth to a flame, Luka came when called. He noted the younger man's flushed face and cheery attitude. Which he found bizarre in a small way considering how grumpy Alex had been the other night. "You're drunk." He said slowly as he stood against the frame. "Not that I'm complaining.. but why are you drunk?"

"I am pret-ty drunk," Alex acknowledged, nodding seriously. He tried to swing up to grab the bars with his hands, but given the reduction in reflexes, he ended up sort of flailing and then slipping. "Whoa, s**t!"
He was sober enough to realize that falling would probably hurt.

The taller man sprang forward and caught Alex as he flailed about, nearly falling from the bars all together. "I think it's time to climb down Pixie." He said as he hooked an arm under Alex's legs. "Alright... Better question. Where did you get it."

Alex let go completely and flopped into Luka's arms. "Okay," he agreed, curling up against Luka's chest and resting his head there. "From my parent's liquor cab...cab...thing." Apparently 'cabinet' was beyond him. "'M drunk 'cause feelings are hard."

"Cabinet?" He supplied. The green haired man made a small noise as he got situated with Alex in his arms. "Oh? Was everyone being a funeral again?" He set off for home, ignoring the vodka bottle and any protests and whines he might have gotten for it.

"That thing," Alex agreed, curling closer into Luka's body heat. The bottle was somewhat forgotten, with the option of Actual Person to Inflict His Drunken Self On presented instead. "Birthmom showed up. Tryin' to pretend like she's all worried an' s**t but she barely ever calls just shows us off one weekend a month to her friends an' now she'syellin' at dad and mom like how could you do this how dare you lose my baby like she's had ******** to do with either of us god I hate that b***h."

Luka's face contorted in confusion. His birthmom showed up? And was yelling at... "You're adopted..?" He asked slowly. "You and Cait?"

"Dad's ex-wife," Alex replied by way of some kind of explanation. "Popped us out an' decided oops, she didn't want kids an' divorced him, didn't ask for custo...cus...thing." He waved a hand again as the word escaped him. "Mom-mom married Dad an' raised us an' Lila's our stepsister really but who gives one actual ********>

"Oh." Well this wasn't awkward at all... "Well I'm glad someone was there for you. Soon enough they reached Luka's place and he set Alex down. "Think you can stand long enough with out falling over for me to open the door?"

"I can stand, assbutt," Alex grumbled, though he didn't really sound all that angry, and he actually did a pretty good job, even if he was a little wobbly. "So thanks," he said, "for uh, catching me and taking me here an' stuff."

Luka twitched and actually reached out and poked Alex in the head, snorting when the kid just swayed back and forth but never actually fell. "So you can." He said as he ushered the tiny drunk man in the door. "Mhmm. And you're staying here tonight." He wondered vaguely when it was he had become a 'babysitter'

"Sure okay I can stay here," Alex agreed easily, stumbling in the door and nearly tripping. He flailed a little, standing himself back up, and groaned. "Gonna be veeerrryyy unhappy tomorrowwww."
