It was late, maybe around eleven. Not that Jinx was really aware of the time, as she had been busy stalking her latest victim and putting him out on display. Her best friend Dementia hadn't been able to join her that night, much to Jinx's disappointment. The ragdoll female sighed, taking off her bloodstained coat and discarding it in a nearby dumpster before going for a little walk. With a light sigh, she caught sight of a flickering 'Open' sign that clearly needed to be replaced and she smiled. A drink sounded nice.
She pushed the door open, looking around the surprisingly clean bar. She realized she might have looked a mess so she tugged her gray-black hair out of it's messy bun, running her hands through it to brush it out. Jinx straightened her black wifebeater and dusted off her blue jeans, finally taking a seat at one of the booths after ordering a drink. She liked the atmosphere of this place, and made a mental note to bring Dementia here one day. But she decided to just relax and not do any thinking right now.

 Gah. What was Ab doing these days? He had met far too many people despite his dislike for socializing, and he had been spending too many days being pestered. Hrn. So, a drink had been more than appropriate for the tall male. Purple eyes viewed the bar he was currently sitting at as lithe fingers drug themselves over the countertop. His hair fell to his shoulders, green locks growing quiet annoying as he pushed them aside. s**t. Watch Kain complain later about him smelling like alcohol, but maybe it'd make the damn guy leave him alone a bit..
Taking a sip of his whiskey, he sighed internally. Hell. Not like Kain was at fault, huh? Ab was the one who had decided to attempt to be friendly for once. It wasn't the poor kids fault that Ab was just a grumpy b*****d and realized his mistake pretty quick... Ugh. He just didn't like hyperactive people! Still, he felt like complete s**t for leading the poor kid on.
Kid.
Kain wasn't a kid. He acted like one, sure, but he was a full grown man. One that happened to annoy the s**t out of Ab. He didn't know how to be friendly, and he certainly wasn't as friendly as Kain was. He just wanted peace and quiet... Something that was becoming more and more rare these days. Before Kain had been the oddly named twins who had taken his books and yelled at him. Before them had been some bright woman who kept yelling at him whenever he looked away. People were annoying. Loud. Obnoxious. Inconsiderate (not like he could talk). It hurt his head to think about the fact that every single person he attempted to speak with had the volume of a screaming cat half the time.
s**t.
How many whiskeys had he had? Did it matter? Wasn't like he was going anywhere after this, anyway.
Or so he thought.

Jinx downed about three drinks before she finally decided to look around at the rabble around her. There were a couple of hookers, or what she thought were hookers, and several drunken bozos rolling around in booths and at the pool table. With a little shake of her head, she ordered another drink and decided to mingle for the hell of it. Nothing else to do until she decided to go home to her brother's fretting.
She picked a rather grumpy-looking male and plopped down in the seat beside him. "You seem to be having a grand ol' time, pal. Why the pouty face? Ladyfriend stood you up or something?"
Normally, Jinx wouldn't willingly associate with any male of any kind, but she was pleasantly buzzed and had no other desire to kill today, as her bloodlust was satiated for the time being.
