Alright, since my character is locked up waiting on a reply, I figured I'd make a random OOC thread to say hi to everyone. How is life going for people today? Mine is going decent, finally getting over the flu that I suffered from all last week.

I recently got over loosing my voice for a couple days and not being able to breath out of my nose. But a shot or two...or three of moonshine via my grandad cleared me out and theraflu healed my throat. I'm glad you're feeling better.

I haven't quit. as much as,...I'm not really in the mood to spar as often like a Final Fantasy game.

I know that people haven't been posting as often. Doesn't mean anything negative at this stage. We're still in the beginning naturally but there are plans at work and rest assured that announcements shall be made when things are put into place. We've been up for a month now and to have come this far in a month is pretty good. We have a great selection of members although half of them have actually posted their profile and actually posted at all but life can be busy and that's understandable.
I don't have to remind you Rachel about the badge thing. The ID badge is a part of this Academy. It's like a little bit of the Academy that I give to all members to wear and represent something that they're a part of, and for those who are seeking staff positions within the Academy it's crucial to wear the badge because that identifies you to other members and even non-members as to who you are. So it has its usefulness besides looking pretty good in a signature. You're not the only one though Rachel that hasn't been wearing their badge and you won't be the last I'm sure.

Well, I mean the amount of posts are not bad. Just infuriates me to no end when people try to get your attention, get it, you reply, and then they leave you hanging so you can't advance your own storyline. *cough*Shinta*cough*
I guess I just wish I had a bit more to do. Sadly, I can't do some of my old stuff as I didn't introduce the elemental guardians to Uki's character like I had in the old school. Also, I wanna get away from the old way some. There is a reason I recreated Uki instead of just simply continuing him into this incarnation of the school.

If anything, I'll make my own badge.
To be honest, I don't like how it looks. I don't like how big it is, and there's other things I'd like to put in my signature. If/when I get the time, I'm going to resize it. If not scrap it altogether and make myself a new one.
I didn't want to sound like a b***h about it, but if it boils down to it raping my signature, I'd prefer to like it a little.

Its not that hard to make it smaller and keep the linking/etc. Thanatos, if you don't like the alteration I did, I kept the original link to revert the image back to the default one. Let me know.

I can't really see how large something is going to be necessarily since web pages don't have exact dimensions on them. You kinda just have to guess work at it and then go from there. I made these badges within the boundaries of what Gaia accepts for images with signatures. You can shrink it down and that's okay. As far as recreating a badge goes. You can make a topic in the Suggestion Forum for it and it'll be looked at. If you wanted to design a badge and then maybe post some ideas there. I can take a look at it and see what I can work with and then I'll have to go and re-issue every single badge out there right now to every member that has an active profile. If you do decide to make a badge though and use it as an alternative for the badge that you've been issued... I can't really allow that though. There's only one badge right now for the Academy. It's possible to make variations yes and then later have members to choose which badge style they want. But once more, I digress that you should start something like that in the Suggestion Forum first. This way it can be looked at and approved. That's the focus of the suggestion forum. I'm all for ideas from the members to improve upon this guild and the Academy. It's not just a one person or one group show. Everyone's got their claim to this place. I've just made things easier and more organized in the sense of getting things done and how to go about it. It's more of a democracy that way. We can have votes. We can do a lot of things that the old Schools weren't able to do. The members of this guild, be it student or staff have a lot of power to make change. I'm not deep set in anything. I'm willing to look at other angles and other opinions and give my feedback but it's not just me. It's the other Moderators as well. We're all in this together and no person gets silenced or ignored for anything. I'm sorry if this is long, I just wanted to make clear the purposes of some of these forums and the intent of the guild itself to be for its members and not against them.

I'm not going to hash something out for it to be shot down anyways. So far it really seems more like I can't even relax for a minute without doing something wrong. So I doubt I'll even bring it up.
I don't get why it would really matter what it looked like if it was still a link and who the character was.
So far, there isn't much story going on anyways besides sparring, so until it lets up, I doubt I'll be posting much anyways.
So I guess all in all, it really doesn't matter that I don't have a badge in my signature right now.

If your looking for something to do for your character i sadly haven't posted in a while due to the fact i still suck at rping alone. I get bored to fast and i'm always looking for someone to rp with. I progress better with someone. So the point of this post being If you are looking for something fun my Character is wide open to rp. If you want to rp with him that is.

I have a proposition for the gods. Your fights are phenomenal though a bit long. What if your matches went off dice roll? 3-10 Sided dice and the first to 100 points wins. That way its a good and decently timed battle...we hope.
