Hi everyone!
Just wanted to start a discussion of possible upcoming events and cosplays. Next weekend is Honey's stuffed animal party, so that's already booked.
I'd like to get a feel for multiple things. First: what days of the week are best for our beloved guests? Many of our hosts actually are quite busy on the weekends, so weekdays as well as weekends would probably be best.
Second: at what pace would you like the events? Once a month? Twice a month? Once a week seems a bit long if we extend them for more than three days.
And finally, what sort of events would you like to do? We have Honey's tea party. I'm thinking of scheduling one or two cosplays over the next month or maybe two, plus an off-campus event of some flavor (a ski trip, perhaps?). What would you all like to do, and is there anything specific that tops your list of things you'd really like to do?

What would you all like to do, and is there anything specific that tops your list of things you'd really like to do? 1) My Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be busiest as far as I can tell for now. 2) Maybe every other week and then a cosplay at the end of the month? Or vice versa, since events take more planning. 3) Definitely a cherry blossom viewing! x3 There are a lot of festivals for spring too~

I like the idea of 2-4 cosplay's/events and 1 off-campus trip in the time frame of two months or so (trusted they're extended to 3+ days).
Obviously since it's still winter, the events / cosplay / trip will need to take that into consideration as well. c:
I know we've had an interest in Spaceship/Futuristic and Gods and Goddesses cosplay so far(which I support completely!).
I'm also all for the skiing trip as well. We need a good winter trip in! heart

Not sure how much my input will help as rotating swing makes it impossible to tell how I'm going to feel. Lols.
But uhm. In terms of how many events we should have, I think it should vary based upon ideas because some ideas are really fun and easy to do and we may get a lot of suggestions, but some ideas not everyone will go along with. I know I will pass on some depending upon what it is.
In terms of days of the week, I work every weekend but my four day, and during said four day weekend, I am up north with my family so I'm usually just checking gaia, not on it. So a weekend plus maybe 2 days during the week sounds fine for me. I'll just pop in when I'm not mentally exhausted (like now, going from third shift to first shift just about kills me. Specially when my boyfriend sets three alarms before I even need to get up for his job. -__- wink
In terms of ideas, I've not a lot, I do remember the Gods/Goddesses and that would be fun. I concur with QT, when spring comes, must have a cherry blossom viewing. For winter? Urm. Snow sculpture building contest? XD Sleigh rides? Ski trip sounds okay, I can't remember if we've tried to do one before.

Honey seems to enjoy raves...why not have a Vocaloid-themed rave party? The Edible Sock Kaoru Twin Hitachiin Vocaloids. Meiko Kaito Miku Rin Len Teto Gakupo Megpoid Luka SeeU Piko etc... I know it's way past the first post of this, but i think i might die if that happened. Also i would probably be super extremely sad if i missed it. Just my opinion, but I think it would be nice to have two major events each month.
One off campus trip, and one ball/cosplay event.
These events would last at least a week, hopefully whenever everyone is the least busy.
And then we can have smaller parties that last a day or three like a tea party randomly, as seen fit.
Just to fill in the gaps between the bigger events and to occupy the people with too much time.
Like me.
As for off campus events, I suggest a day shopping trip to the city!
We all go downtown, look at the clothes, shop a bit, visit some butler/maid cafes...

Now that I think about it, please tell me if we ever do this idea!

Week long events sound wonderful to me :3 I was unsure if people like the events being three days and if they could stand it being longer, but if more people agree, I am totally up for it x3
