It was cold... it was wet... it was dark... but none of it mattered to the shade as the young clone stood outside far enough away from the illuminating light of the street lamp waiting - waiting for the lights to go out so she could go in for the kill. As a copy of the original Hannah the shade knew of her physical limitations and that to enter the house would entice more problems than necessary. The desire to be the only one left alive quelled her anxious desire to claim the life of her intended target as she waited patiently for the bedroom light to turn off - indication that her double, the original, was asleep. Chilled to the bone, shivering slightly, the shade was eventually rewarded when the glow from the upstairs window finally turned off. A twisted smile spread across her face as she counted the minutes till she could approach the house undetected if at all possible. Good night dear sweet Hannah... Sleep well while you can - for in the morning I will take your place...Sirene Niads Some night time chit chat between Delilah and Hannah before they fall asleep while the SF enters the home??

Delilah chuckled to herself as she hugged the pillow close to her chest. "Hannah, don't tell me you don't remember Stephen from second grade. He had the hugest crush on you. Always going on and on about how your laugh was like...oh what was it, a pop tart coming out of the toaster?" Delilah smirked at her girl friend, going back through some memories.
Dinner had been wonderful but during so, the rain had come down so hard that it allowed the raven haired girl to loose track of time. A phone call to her mother and confirmed it. Better to stay put than drive on the dark, wet roads. So now they had an impromptu slumber party on their hands. Though Delilah had to wish she had brought something to sleep in. Pants were not comfortable.
"Thanks again for letting me stay. It is supposed to get nasty out there tonight." She added with a shiver, looking out the window.

Hannah held her hands up in the air in a defensive manner, "I won't lie I honestly don't remember that. It must have been traumatic enough that I blocked it from my mind" she started laughing knowing Stephen, chances are he did say something like that. "What I do remember is that Will Bennett enjoyed pulling chairs out from underneath people." with that her expression took on a mock pained look in remembrance of the time she had stumbled backwards when she went to sit down and hit another students chair. Pulling back the comforter Hannah crawled into bed next to Delilah, "Don't worry about it!" she rolled over to give her friend a good night hug. "I'm just happy I finished unpacking everything before you got here otherwise we'd have to sleep downstairs." she joked while reaching over to her nightstand to turn off the small lamp. _,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_ With the lights upstairs turned off, a devious smile spread across the shade fairy's face. Clothes soaked through and through, hair matted against her gray tinted face, she made her way across the blackened asphalt street up the drive way and approached the front door. Carefully taking a hold of the brass doorknob the clone turned the handle and was rewarded when the door clicked softly and swung open. Stepping inside the entry way, the shade quietly closed the door behind her. "Hannah?" the sound of a woman's concerned voice startled the clone causing her to jump. The goal had been stealth and so far things were not working well. "Hannah sweetie why are you soaked?" The woman asked as she reached out to place her hands on either side of 'her daughters' face. In response to the question, the only thing the shade could do was shrug her shoulders. Eyebrows furrowed in concern for Hannah's health, Mrs. Carrington was about to ask more questions but felt it more important that she get her daughter upstairs and into a warm shower first. "Delilah's upstairs in your room, you go take a shower and warm up, your freezing." Leaning forward and after placing a kiss atop 'her daughters' forehead she stepped aside and ushered her upstairs. Nodding her head in an automatic response to the woman urging the clone noticed out of the corner of her eye a small table off to her right with unopened envelopes and a letter opener. A sly smile snaked it's way across her pale face as she deftly side stepped around 'her mother' and took a hold of the dagger shaped object hiding it up her soaking wet sleeve. It was a bit of a comfort realizing that the woman in front of her was none the wiser to the happenings that were about to occur upstairs and that she looked down upon the one that was going to steal away the life of her true daughter while she slept soundlessly upstairs. Oh how easy it would be to slip into her originals life when her own mother could not tell the difference between the two. The only thing that the shade was concerned about was this Delilah that happened to be upstairs as well, though only time would tell if she would be an additional causality or be safely tucked away in another room oblivious to the plans churning in the shade's mind.

Delilah had to hold back a deep laugh as she remembered that moment Hannah flopped backwards. From that point on, she had always made a point to look before she sat but it did pain her that Hannah had to go through it. Still, had Delilah been half the girl she was now back then, Will might have stopped doing things like that sooner.
Hugging Hannah back, the girl smiled. "Me too. Because that floor did not look as comfortable as before." She smiled and rolled back over to face the window. "But this is like old times. Hannah, I'm glad you are back."
She whispered feeling her body give a chill before snuggling down into the blankets.

”You have no idea how happy I am right now.” Hannah reached over to turn off the small Pixar looking lamp on her nightstand before settling in under the covers. Though her voice had a tinge of sadness etched into it, her mind was finally at peace. Staring up at the now darkened ceiling she continued with her line of thought, ”Having you here, like this, makes it feel almost like the last year and a half almost two years didn’t happen. I was worried that being gone for so long...” Her voice trailed off not wanting to finish that thought. Nestling herself under the mounds of blankets and pile of pillows Hannah pulled the comforter up to her chin then continued, ”I’m sorry. I’m just glad to be back, to have you back.” Rolling over so she faced Delilah she draped an arm over her sister in a lazy hug. ”Good night Delilah, sleep well.”_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_ Standing at the top of the staircase landing the Shade paused looking down each hallway noting the various doors bedroom, bathroom, bedroom, bedroom, closet... Without having to think too much on it she knew which room her original was in. Had it not of been for the soft light that sneaked its way under the closed door, the Clone was drawn to her, to Hannah Dear sweet Hannah… Oh how the tips of her fingers itched with anticipation, the desire to run in and drive the letter opener between Hannah’s ribs and watch the light fade from her eyes. ”Not now…” she whispered. For as much as she was pulled to enter the room the Shade turned down the other hall and walked into the restroom. There were two voices in that room, it would be careless to enter while they both lingered in the realm of the conscious. Reaching to turn on the hot water Hannah’s clone began to shed her cold wet clothing and looked at herself in the mirror. Pale skin with an ashen tint, dull features in comparison to her original, a minor flaw, if once could call it as such, considering the woman down stairs did not think twice about her appearance. With a flick of her finger the water that once poured freely from the silver faucet now rained down from the shower head above. Once inside she closed the curtain behind her, intent on following ‘her mother’s’ instructions if only to bide her time.

Delilah's hand reached up and took hold of Hannah's. The girl didn't need to finish her statement. Delilah knew what Hannah was thinking. She had feared it to but more from the side that her sister would never return. Watching her drive away was one of the most painful things for Delilah. Now she knew for a fact that she would not live through something like that a second time.
Closing her eyes, she rested into the pillow and felt sleep coming.

Having run out of hot water the Shade turned around and turned the knobs to shut off the shower. Lips curled up into a smile of momentary contempt she opened the curtain and grabbed one of the towels off to the side Oh how I intend to take such joy in these small luxuries once she’s gone. Once completely dried the clone looked herself over in the mirror; grey tinted skin now with hints of red from the scalding water and periwinkle colored hair which clung to her body in rivulets. Though the reflection showed the face of someone she was not use to, it was at least not one which displeased her in the slightest. With the towel still wrapped around her, the Shade leaned over and reached for the clothes she had been wearing. Still soaked from standing outside in the rain she dumped them in the corner on the floor by the sink. Blue-grey eyes scanned the steamed up bathroom for something to wear when her eyes fell on two bathrobes hanging on the back of the door – one dark blue and the other a deep purple. Replacing the towel with one of these temporary articles of clothing she reached over and grabbed the letter opener off the sink. Though the object was dulled, it would have to do, just means the deed would require a bit more force – something she was okay with. Now that all was ready, Hannah’s clone stepped out into the open hallway, eyes scanning the bottom of each door ensuring that all the lights were off upstairs. Pausing in front of the room she knew her original to be in she waited a few moments listening intently for any sounds that would indicate whether either of the occupants were awake. Satisfied when her ears were only met with silence she quietly took hold of the door knob, slowly turning it then stepped into the room. Dim lights filtered in through the window from the streetlights across the street, just enough for her to see the two bodies that lay in the bed just feet away from her. This will be easy! She thought as a crude smile spread across her darkened features Approaching the bed from the side the clone carefully place one knee on the bed… then the other. Straddling Hannah as means to pin her under the blankets, there really was no need to give her a chance to get away. Held in both hands the clone raised the opener above her head in a manner must akin to someone about to sacrifice someone on an altar. Good night Hannah. _,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_
Feeing uncomfortably pinned down by an unknown weight Hannah attempted to roll over unsuccessfully. Drifting between the realm of conscious and unconscious she mumbled ”Del-lai-lah, off pleash thinking it was her friend trying to get back into bed assuming she had possibly gotten up to use the restroom.

Slipping into the dreamless state between awake and asleep had been easy. Falling in farther was proving to be a challenge for the teenager as she slowly snuggled into her pillow. Something was poking at her subconscious preventing her from drifting off to dreamland.
Though Delilah's stubborn will was paying off and she forced the budding panic back into her mind as just fear of Hannah's health. But she was cleared by doctors. There was nothing to worry about now except to make sure she got her regular check ups.
At the edge of dreams, Delilah could see fields of flowers and grass. A woman with jet black hair stood looking out at the land over the cliff face. Delilah was just making her way towards it when the movement caught her attention and yanked her back into a dark void.
She could feel pressure growing at her back side but only in one place. As if something had been set between Hannah and her. The voice, or more mumble made it through the dark haze causing Delilah to slip back into conscious. "Not on..." Delilah had opened her eyes just a crack as she worked to roll over and face Hannah's body.
In the darkness, she could make out something, but she wasn't sure what. Then, as her eyes adjusted, she could see the human form.
Both red eyes shot open and Delilah's body moved on instinct. Her arms shot out and her legs flailed. "Hannah!" She snapped out loudly.

The Shade’s body stiffened the downward momentum that had built up with the intent of driving the letter opener into her Original’s heart stopped abruptly. She had known the risk of pursuing this endeavor when entering the room, in which one or both of them would awaken. Tangled up in the blankets the girl next to her flailed about in a failing attempt at freeing herself… for now. Though the Shade’s body did not move, dark blue-grey eyes turned their attention upon the raven haired individual. Face void of much emotion save for dark intent, she did not intend for there to be two casualties this evening, only one… but now that the girl had yelled it seemed to leave her little choice. _,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_,.-~*~-.,_ Hannah’s eyes snapped open when Delilah’s voice came from somewhere next to her other rather than above her. Jarred away by the frantic movement on the bed Hannah looked up horrified by what she saw… herself. Had it not been for the weight that pinned her to the bed she would have convinced herself that she was still dreaming. ”D-Delilah…” came her panicked plea for help. Confusion, bewilderment, and terror all snaked their way into her voice. Scared by the dagger looking object that was held mere inches above her Hannah tried her best to move to dislodge this look-a-like to no avail. One arm pinned underneath one of the Clones’ knees there was little she could do. ”DELILAH” she yelled louder this time, her heart beat frantically in her chest. ”What is going on? Why am I trying to kill myself… this is some bad dream… please please be a dream…”

What Delilah had thought to be nothing quickly drove the girl into a frenzy. Glancing between the girl sleeping next to her and the form kneeling over her, Delilah felt as if something was really wrong. Even in the dim light, the panic in her system was spiking and her body was trying its hardest to get out from the blankets but she could see something in the hand of the third, uninvited party.
"Who the hell are you?" She called out as her left arm finally came free and swung towards side of the the figure kneeling on the bed. Blankets, sheets and pillows went with it as Delilah worked to get herself into a better position with a single goal: get that thing off Hannah!
"You need a bigger bed." She snapped as her right leg kicked over after the arm. She'd apologize later for smacking her sister as she tried to replace the thing's position.
What really scared her was that figure looked alot like Hannah but it couldn't be! Hannah was an only child!!!

“Her replacement!” was all the shade said after picking herself up off the floor before lunging once more at the frighten periwinkle haired girl on the bed. Weapon held high she aimed to kill, now whether it was a quick death all determined on whether or not Hannah chose to stay still or not. The commotion upstairs did not go unnoticed by her parents who had been watching a movie in the living room. At first they merely pushed pause and exchanged concerned glances; “perhaps one of the girls dropped something or tripped getting out of bed” Ms Carrington suggested despite the nagging feeling neither was the case. She knew her daughter had just gotten out of the shower which left a worry in the pit of her stomach that Hannah had collapsed given how cold she had been prior. The yelling that followed shortly after the sounding thud prompted the couple into action. Quicker than one might imagine, both were on their feet and bounding up the flight of stairs towards their daughters room.

”No you don’t” Delilah snapped back as she excused herself quickly off of Hannah’s stomach, grabbing the pillow her own head had been laying on. Flinging it out in front of her as a weapon, Delilah tried to smack the copy enough to throw her off balance.
”There is no replacement for her.” The raven hair girled snapped and finally got to her feet, standing between Hannah and Hannah-copy.
”Hannah, get out of here.” She called out not caring who heard her.

Quickly Hannah did as she was told and scrambled off the down feather comforter onto the plush carpet floor.
Her movements however did not go unnoticed as the clone recomposed herself. She smiled more so to herself than anything seeing her original huddled in a corner with the path to the only exit effectively blocked off by her dresser.
“Delilah!” Hannah yelled as the clone lunged toward her raven haired friend.
As timing would have it the bedroom door swung open and standing on the threshold stood two very confused parents wide-eyed in shock at seeing Delilah and their daughter fighting. “What are you two doing?!” Mrs. Carrington snapped at them to get their attention.
“MOM!” Her daughter yelled and it was then both adults realized that there were not one but two Hannah’s in the room.
Reaching over, her father flipped on the lightswitch if only to confirm what he was seeing. “What in the lords name…” He managed to get out before being abruptly cut off by an evil spine chilling glare given to him by the copy-cat.

As the ‘twins’ turned their expressions towards the Carrington’s, Delilah reacted. Throwing herself towards the clone, she extended her elbow towards its throat. Explain later why she suddenly knew a few things about fighting. Right now, she had other things to be concerned about.
”Hannah, get them out of here.” If she did, then she could power up. If they didn’t go, she would have to pray she could stall….something….

The clone fell backwards gasping for air watching with seething hate as coward ran towards her beloved parents open arms leaving her friend to fight her battles. Pathedic she thought to herself. Any hopes she had of becoming a part of this family once her original had been dealt with were officially dashed. She may have fooled her mother downstairs when she first came inside, but it seems that may have been a one time incident.
As it stood there was one of two options, give up - not a chance, or swan dive out the window because lets be honest there was no bowling through not one but four individuals with this weaken body she had come to possess. The will to fight, to not give up was too strong she she rose to her feet and grabbed the stapler off Hannah’s desk.
Two weapons in hand, if one could call them as such, the shade turned her full attention on the red eyed individual with the intent to return the favor, and show her the consequences of getting in the way.
