Quirks Akira is generally a understanding man. He listens to everyone's opinion on a topic before speaking up in his own turn. He will rarely ever draw his weapon. After the events in his past he always seeks other ways to resolve an issue before even thinking of drawing his Zanpakuto. Often he will try to reason with his enemies, though if a agreement cannot be reached he is not above taking drastic action to resolve an issue.
Favors | Playing the flute: - Akira has favored the flute ever since he was young. He always enjoyed the music that people could create and it was not long before he learned to play it himself. To this day the sound of a flute calms him. Painting: - Akira does not paint often, only at times that he sees something that sparks his interest or sees something that he deems as beautiful. Akira has been paining for years, however it would still be quite a stretch to say that he was a master at it. Training: - Akira likes to keep himself fit. Even after his exiled status, he still adheres to the Shinigami training routine every day. A habit is hard to break. Sleeping: - Akira loves to just lay back and take a nap sometimes. He believes that without proper rest, it can only lead to trouble. Cooking: - Akira has always loved the taste of food. Disdains | Hollows: - Akira is still a Shinigami at heart. When he see's a Hollow, he does not even have to think about slaying it. Even though he is no longer considered a member of the Gotei 13 at the time, now 14. He still continued the duty he was trained for. Cold Seasons: - Akira hates the cold, Winter is the worst season for him, every winter leaves the man in bed suffering with multiple head colds before the season ends. Snakes: -Due to his history with certain slithering Hollow, Akira has become uncomfortable when around these slithering serpents. Obnoxious People: - Akira had to put up with these kinds of people all through his life while he lived in the Rukongai. It has a left a deep anger for anyone thinking there better than anyone else. Preference of Food | Sweets: - Akira has a preference for sweet things. One of his favorite things is candy. He does not really have a favorite type, as long as it's sweet, he will take it. Stews: When deciding on how he would like his foods prepared, Akira neerly always chooses stews, he loves how the flavors just meld together.
Disliked Foods | Sour food: - Akira cannot stand the taste of sour foods, he has tried sour foods prepared different ways but they never agree with him.
Preference of Drink | Water: - Always a good choice, clean and healthy. Tea: - Akira has developed a strong liking of green tea. When eating any meal, that is the drink that will be sitting next to him.
.._______________________ Something Unknown Fears | Death: - Akira fears his death. However, he does not fear dyeing. Akira fears that after he passes, he will be confronted with the ghosts of the men that he had slayed in his anger. He does not know how to confront this fear and dreads the possibility of having to come face to face with it every day. Letting others die. - Akira couldn't bear more of his friends blood being spilled. He doesn't want to see anyone's else's blood on his hands. Isolation: - Akira misses the Shinigami, he misses his old life as one of them but he knows that life has passes. Akira fears living his life alone, away from everything that he once cared about.
Aspirations | Redemption: -Akira aspires to redeem himself in his own eyes and the eyes of the Soul Society. After the murders he had inflicted upon his allies, Akira knows he must make amends. Going about this however will be difficult as he is wanted for numerious murders in the Seireitei.

Chapter One A new place, A new life Time Frame? 670 years ago "We all have to live together"
Akira was born in the Eastern Rukongai. A place that is currently devoid of inhabitants and called "Suicide Town". However, when Akira was a child is was quite the bustling city. Akira was always highly gifted in a spiritual sense. Even as a child he was able to do certain things that other children could not. Sairento could move faster than the other children using shunpo, although at that time he didn't know what it was. life in Eastern Rukongai was not horrible, but he would not consider it the greatest either. Akira lived with a surrogate family ever since he could remember. He lived with a man and woman who he considered his parents and many other siblings. His parents when they arrived in the Soul Society could never find their child, so they made a habit of taking in children who could not find their parents. While most of the children remembered their parents fondly, Akira never could remember his real Mother and Father, so he made his life in the Soul Society as best he could.
Chapter TwoThe Hunger in a place without Hunger Time Frame? 660 years ago "I'm a nuisance?" Cold
Throughout his life in the Eastern Rukongai Akira learned how cruel others could be. Unlike the others, Akira felt hunger. This was different since this was a place where they were never to hunger. This was a large problem for Akira, few places had any food, and Akira had nothing to trade. With his hunger growing, Akira took to stealing to get by meal after meal. Naturally this led to Akira getting a bad reputation. They called him a thief, a nescience and in response his family received a bad reputation for sheltering and raising such a problem child. This was the point that Akira felt most lost. He did not know what to do, He knew it was wrong to steal from others, but the pain growing in his stomach would never cease. Despite how he felt, he continued to steal. As time passed Even his family began to alienate from him, his brothers and sisters split from him, growing tired of the treatment passed to them from his actions. Akira's parents stayed with him, but he could tell they grew distant. The Only saving grace Akira had was his young brother Negi. Negi knew about his hunger and understood why he had to do what he did. He began helping Akira acquire food to make it easier on him. This however caused problems for the young boy. Other children in the city refused to play with him, Adults ignored him, and others even took to beatings. Through all of this however, Negi stayed with Akira. One morning, Akira set out to find Negi, but he could not locate him. As he moved through the city, he heard the sounds of a brawl nearby. As Akira turned, he saw Negi, surrounded on all sides being kicked and punched by a group of men. Infront of his, he saw a loaf of bread clenched in Negi's hands. Angered, Akira approached them and told them to stop. The men stopped and turned towards Akira. They told him that Negi had been caught stealing bread from them, and they were teaching him a lesson about stealing. This act angered Akira, when he saw this happening to his younger brother, Akira moved forward but was waved off by Negi. Negi told him it was not worth it, that it was his fault. Akira could not believe his ears, his brother was telling him not to help and just let these men tear into him? No, he could not do it. As the next punch landed Akira Shouted out and lept into them. Akira grabbed onto one of the men and delivered punch after punch onto the man's face. While this was happening another man got behind him and grabbed his collar. However, with Akira's use of Shunpo, he was able to break free of the man's grasp and knocked him to the ground. This continued for a while. After Akira's fist connected with the last man's jaw, the man fell back onto the dirt. Akira stopped fighting, but he was panting hard. Akira was covered in cuts, bruises, and blood.. Akira turned and looked to his brother, what he saw in his brother's eyes was terror. He noticed that the boy was not terrified of the unconscious men laying in the dirt, or by what the men had done to him, but by what he saw Akira do to them. Akira looked back at them men, a few of them were breathing slowly, but others looked like they weren't even moving at all. Akira looked back to Negi, but no words were spoken.
Chapter Three A chance encounter Time Frame? 655 years ago "Just leave me be."
The years passed and things changed. Most of Akira's family had moved on, traveling to different places in the Rukongai and those who stayed found other people to share their lives with. Akira on the other hand, grew distant. Ever since Akira began stealing and fighting the people grew away from him. While he did still live in the village, most of the people would simply overlook him.
These things continued day by day, until one morning the village was graced by a new visitor making his way through the streets. At this time, Akira was drunk. He sat at the back of a building waiting for sleep. From his right he was approached by four men who surrounded him. They began talking amongst themselves about how disgusting the sight in front of them was. One of the men reached down and grabbed Akira by his shirt, repeating the same line he had heard day by day. Leave the Village, or they would make him. Akira laughed and shook his head. A small brawl broke out where the four men lay bruised and bloody on the ground. Akira stumbled away awkwardly, four against one had left him bruised and bloody as well. Akira's vision blurred and he fell onto the dirt below. This sight was seen by the man in black who walked over and helped Akira up. Akira looked over at the figure, his face blurred by Akira's drunken vision. He asked why he was helping him, to which the man responded that it was merely a kind gesture to help someone in need. Akira shook his head and merely stated that no, no it does not before passing out.
Chapter Four An Opportunity Time Frame? 655 years ago "Why would you want me to join?"
The man in black took Akira somewhere so he could Sober up. When Akira finally did, he informed Akira who he was . The man was a Shinigami for the Gotei 13 out for one of the patrols in the Rukongai. He had seen Akira's fight and had noticed how the people did not seem to want him here. Akira did not respond and looked away from the man. The Shinigami asked Akira's name, but he still ignored him. Undeterred, he proceeded to tell him about the Shinigami. That he could get a new start if he joined them. Again Akira refused to speak. The man sighed and told him to think about his offer, and if he decided it was what he wanted to do, He would be at the entrance to the Village at night before departing. And like that, Akira was heft to his thoughts.
Akira hated his life here, he was an outcast. No one wanted him here so the chance of a new life was almost too good to pass up. But he still feared that he would be an outcast with the Shinigami as well. As Night came, and the time when the Man had to report back approached, Akira found himself waiting outside. When the man arrived, Akira was greeted by a smile. He asked once more What Akira's name was, and this time he told him.
Chapter Five Division 6 Time Frame? 523 years ago "Thanks for the welcome!"
After his training, Akira was on his first day being assigned to a squad. He was assigned an unranked seat in the sixth division. When he arrived he presented his orders to the Vice-Captain in a honorable and polite fashion. Everything went fine, he was given a bunk and everything and he was officially a member of the Squad. Akira was quickly introduced to his Squad. They were all of various personalities but they all knew each other so well. As time passed He noticed hey would often be laughing and pranking each other when they were off duty. Akira however still kept to his studies. He became known as a quiet one when the Squad would refer to him. When they would offer for him to come and take a drink with tem, he would refuse and go about his business. One day When Akira arrived back at his room, he noticed his writings and books had all been stolen. He rushed outside and he saw that his books had been divided among his squad. He was told that if he wanted his books back, he would have to talk with his squad. This angered Akira and he tried to get his items back by force, but they were able to keep him at bay. Grudgingly he sat down with each of his squad mates and talked, with an added bottle of sake thrown in for good measure. At first what was Hell for Akira became a good experience. He learned things about his squad mates he had never known before, some grew up in worse conditions then he could have through, and others were pampered from the get go. However they were all good people. By the end of this little ordeal Akira looked forward to speaking with his squad more than getting his books back. At the end of the day, Akira was more open with his Squad than ever before.
Chapter Six Advancement Time Frame? 294 years ago "If I can become stronger, I can help those who can't help themselves"
As the years passed, Akira became much more open. He joked with his squad, he initiated new members and spoke mostly without a care in the world. In fact, without the help of his squad, Akira would have never learned the name of his Zanpakuto and unlocked his Shikai. When he had first been notified about his reassignment to squad 5 he was filled with dread about leaving Squad 6. He had learned so much about everyone and knew everyone. He did not want to leave the group who had accepted him. Through the years Akira had moved up through the ranks. Before his reassignment he held the 5th seat of the 6th division. After his unlocking of Shikai and his reassignment, he was promoted to be the 3rd Seat of Squad 5. It was easy to learn about his new Squad mates, and in short time he became a regular part of the team.
Chapter Seven The Hollow Time Frame? 92 years ago "We'll deal with it and be back before lunch"
One day Akira and three others were given a job to investigate the World of the Living to find a Hollow that was reported in the area. Akira had been on many Hollow dispatches in the past, and the three of them joked that they would have this over and done with before lunch. The three of them decided to split up and search around the area. If they found the Hollow they would release their reiatsu to alert the others to come and assist. Akira searched around the area for half an hour and they did not sense any Hollow in the area. As Akira was about to return to his group, He sensed the presence of the Hollow nearby.
Quickly unsheathing his Zanpakuto, Akira looked around for the beast. In front of him appeared a Hollow, it had a serpent like body a large white mask on it's head. Akira stared into the beasts large red eyes as it reared up and let out a large Howl. In response Akira released his reiatsu just as they had planned to alert his group.
The Hollow reared up and charged Akira. Akira lowered his Zanpakuto and blocked the Hollow with his blade as it pushed him back into a building that was behind him. Akira rolled to the right to get away from the Hollow and slashed the beast on its left side.
It was at this time that Akira's squad mates arrived at the scene. The three of them surrounded the Hollow, taking turns they each took their time striking the beast. The battle went on for what felt like hours, the Hollow refused to go down. Akira looked to his squad mates, they were obviously getting tired and Akira was not much better off. In a last effort, Akira pulled the Hollows attention to himself. The Hollow reared back and charged one of his squad mates. Seeing this, Akira used Shunpo and pushed his ally out of the way of the Hollows attack. The Hollow closed in and took a bite of Akira's entire shoulder and a part of his chest with it's mouth. Akira let out a scream as he painfully raised his Zanpakuto and cleaved the Hollow, separating the beasts head from it's body.
As the beast dissolved, Akira fell to his knees, holding his wound. Akira's squad mates ran to him, picked him up and took him back to the Soul Society to be healed.
Chapter Eight The Illusion Time Frame? 92 years ago "The...Blood on my hands...it can't be..." Untold Sorrow
It was a painful couple of days. Akira was taken to Division Four to receive healing from the injury the Hollow had delt him. At first Akira's wounds were not healing. It took some time before Squad four was able to heal his wounds. After Akira had been patched up, it took another two days of rest before he was allowed to return to his squad.
After the two days had passed, Akira received a warm welcome from his squad. It was very emotional for him. To go from his childhood of not being wanted in his village to having people celebrating his recovery was something special to Akira. As night fell, the squad went quiet and Akira laid down to sleep. An hour passed before Akira was woken up abruptly in his sleep by a loud howl of a Hollow. Akira quickly jumped out of bed and Grabbed his Zanpakuto. As he ran outside, he heard the Hollow howl out again, but he saw no one else outside.
As he moved through the squad he kept hearing the Hollow, it was close, but no one was awake. Akira wondered how a Hollow could get in the seirretti, but as he cleared a corner he saw it. It was the same, serpent bodied Hollow from the other day. It was in the streets staring at him. Instinctive Akira drew his Zanpakuto and charged the Hollow. Using Shunpo, he closed in to the beast and cleaved its mask. The Hollow cried out before dissolving away. As Akira was about to sheath his Zanpakuto, he saw it again, this time it was behind him. Akira turned and rushed the Hollow, again slashing it in the mask. Again and again he heard the Hollow's Howl. As he looked around, he was surrounded by multiple copies of the same Hollow.
"Why are there so many of you!" Akira yelled out. He counted six hollows surrounding him. Akira winced as the bite mark on his shoulder began to burn. "I won't let you leave this area!" Akira cried out as he raised his Zanpakuto and released his Shikai.
With his Shikai released, Akira lunged at each Hollow, one falling to his blade after another. For each one he slew, the pain in his shoulder grew stronger and stronger. With one Hollow remaining, Akira readied his Zanpakuto and plunged it into the skull of the last serpent Hollow. As it faded away, the pain in Akira's shoulder subsided as he lowered his blade, heavily panting.
"I did it...I didn't let them get to the Squad..."
Akira smiled softly as he took step forward. Immediately his legs gave out from under him and he blacked out. Akira could not have been out for more than a moment, but when he awoke, he was laying in a pool of blood. Akira slowly pulled himself from the ground, he was drenched in blood, his hands were covered, his clothes stained, his Zanpakuto still dripping. As Akira's vision cleared he looked around in horror to see seven of his squad mates laying cold on the ground below. He just stood there, motionless. Akira was finally snapped out of this state by the voices of the rest of his Squad. Akira immediately dropped his sword, his body shaking, he looked at his hands. "Why do i have blood on my hands? why are they laying there? Where's the Hollow?" Akira spun around, there was nothing of the Hollow, just the bodies and blood of his comrades.
Chapter Nine Regret Time Frame? 92 years ago "I deserve to die.. but i cannot resign myself to that fate..."
After the Incident at the Squad 5 Barracks, Akira learned that he had been hallucinating. When the Hollow bit him, it had transferred some of it's energy into is body, that was what Squad Four had trouble removing when they were healing him. The energy made him Hallucinate and think he was battling the Hollow again, when it was in fact just his Squad mates. The effects wore off quick enough, but not before the damage had been done. Akira had slaughtered seven of his squad mates. He had committed mass murder. Akira was examined by Squad 4 to find the truth in his words about seeing the Hollow. However, there was no remnants of the Hollows energy in his wound. Akira was sentenced to Death by Central 46. However, Akira knew this would be their decision. During the night he fled from the Seireitei , fearing the death that would come in the morning. Akira currently resides somewhere in the Rukongai, everyday remorseful and haunted by his squad mates that fell by his blade.

Zanpakutō Activation Statement | Reign over them Kyokihime! Zanpakutō Blade ChangesRelease Upon release of his Shikai, the blade elongates and darkens to red in color. The tsuba disappears as the hilt curves slightly. Now hanging from the end of the hilt are black tassels, tied together with a golden string. Shikai Abilities [血の波] Chi no nami (Blood Wave) Using a bit of blood as a component, Akira smears the blood onto Kyokihime's blade. The blood is then enhanced with his reiatsu. When he swings, he releases a red blast of energy towards his opponent. The Blood is used as a catalist for the strengthening of the reiatsu. Akira can choose to supply his own blood to the blade, or use the blood that has been lost by battle. The sword cannot take blood from an opponents body, only blood that has been shed from the body. The greater amount of blood used, the stronger the attack can become. [50 ft range, 3 post cooldown]
[クリムゾン壁]Kurimuzon kabe (Crimson Wall) Gathering Blood from the battlefield, Akira collects the blood in front of him, or any direction he chooses, and solidifies the blood into a wall using his reiatsu. The wall can be used to block melee attacks or Kido spells up to #45. Akira can choose to supply his own blood to the Wall, or use the blood that has been lost by battle. This ability cannot take blood from an opponents body, only blood that has been shed from the body. The more blood he has at his use, the larger the wall he can create. [10ft barrier in size initially, max 20ft. 1 post cooldown]
[血液エンパワーメント]Ketsueki enpawāmento (Blood Empowerment) This ability can only be used while Akira's body is in contact with his blood. This ability is useless unless first wounded. His body must be at least bleeding to have the amount required for this effect. The blood acts as a catalyst, allowing Akira to perform above his bodies normal limitations. As he looses blood, Akira's Strength, Speed, and Reiryoku abilities increase. The more blood he looses, the stronger the ability becomes but with an equal or perhaps greater risk to his body. After the time has expired, Akira's body functions at half it's normal strength and abilities until he can rest and recover. If the blood is removed from his body in some way, the effects of this ability are interrupted, he no longer has access to these increased abilities. [3 post duration, cooldown until he rests]

Spell Name: Sai (塞, Restrain) Number: 01 Incantation: Unknown Description: The practitioner, pointing his/her index and middle fingers at the intended target(s), causes the target's arms to lock behind their back. The spell is usable on a single target or a significantly large group of people.
Spell Name: Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope) Number: 04 Incantation: Unknown Description: Binds enemies with a Reishi rope to stop their movement. The practitioner generates a crackling yellow energy rope within his/her hand(s) and throws it toward the opponent. The energy entangles itself around the opponent's arms and body, immobilizing them.
Spell Name: Seki (斥, Repulse) Number: 08 Incantation: Unknown Description: The practitioner generates an orb of light blue energy, which not only blocks attacks, but repels whatever strikes it.
Spell Name: Geki (撃, Strike) Number: 09 Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!" Description: The practitioner, drawing the symbols of the spell in the air, causes his/her entire body to permeate a red energy. The same red energy, engulfing the body of the target, causes complete paralysis.
Spell Name: Hōrin (崩輪, Disintegrating Circle) Number: 09 Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!" Description: The practitioner, using the index and middle fingers, generates an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns which, ensnaring the opponent as the tendril wraps around their body, immobilizes them. The end of it remains in the hands of the user, allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kidō can connect with another one of itself, if both have captured a target, and bind them together.
Spell Name: Amekaze (雨風, Driving Rain) Number: 14 Incantation: Unknown Description: Creates a large rain cloud that the caster can move over a target, then disperse it to release a torrent of rain over a limited area for several minutes (3 posts). This makes seeing difficult, and is often useful for water and electric types while hindering fire and earth types.
Spell Name: Sekienton (赤煙遁, Red Smoke Escape) Number: 21 Incantation: Unknown Description: The practitioner creates a cloud of red smoke, swiftly engulfing the surrounding area and briefly obscuring the movements of whomever is within the smoke, allowing a quick getaway.

Spell Name: Noren Mekuri (暖簾捲り, Curtain Stripping) Number: 27 Incantation: Unknown Description: Nullifies types of illusory effects which may be used to conceal something from view. The practitioner, extending their hand, appears as though they are gripping thin air before stripping away the technique which is currently in effect. Doing so creates a light blue and violet aura around the object which is being revealed as it gradually comes into view.

Relatively speaking, it can allow a Shinigami with human-level strength to dent iron and makes their fist feel like an iron mass. Like other Hadō, it does not last long, only hardening the fist to give enough time to punch.

Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!" Description: The user, generating high-temperature flames, discharges it from both hands or the finger, in the form of an orb (small, medium, or large depending on the power used. The destructive power released by the blast can vary between a simple explosion to a pillar of energy. In both instances, the spell causes concussive as well as burn damage.
Spell Name: Ōkasen (黄火閃, Yellow Fire Flash) Number: 32 Incantation: Unknown Description: The practitioner, raising their Zanpakutō horizontally in front of them, generates a yellow orb which widens itself along the length of their sword. Once it is fully charged, it fires outward as a horizontal blast, in a wide arc of yellow energy, at the target. This technique can be launched from the hand instead of a Zanpakutō, albeit producing a shorter arc.

Zanjutsu | The most practiced of all of Akira's Abilities. He is very proficiant in the use of Zanjutsu, He could even be considered close to a master in it's use. Akira knows many styles of swordplay with Zanjutsu and is his go to stratagy for dealing with opponents. Hakuda | This is an area where Akira lacks, he has almost no hand to hand fighting skills. It can be considered his worst option of fighting. Hohō | Akira is adept in it's use, having known it's use since he was younger he has had many years to learn and practice it's use. Durability | Akira can withstand many hits, his body is tough and it can handle some damage, although nowhere near as many as a Captain. Reiryoku | He has a considerable amount of reiryoku, ranked about the skill of a Vice-Captain.

ok! A blood based Blade! I am intrigued on how you put this together! Your blade was nicely detailed, so I have no need to hold us longer on the details on how it looks. Let's get moving on!
SHIKAI
Shikai Ability 1: All I need is how far it can go and a cool down.
Shikai Ability Two: I need a range on how big the wall can be. As well as a cool down. One post should be sufficient.
Shikai Ability Three: I like the ability! However, I am a little confused on how it is performed. So you have to drench yourself with your blood. Is that possible without dying? Also if it isn't your blood how much is exactly needed. I need more information on 'drenched'. I also need a cool down.
I see no problems with his combative information. There's a nice balance with his kido section along with the rest of his shinigami abilities.
There are a couple of things that I need to be clarified on or fixed. I do like the concept! If you need any help or suggestion, don't be afraid to contacting me! I also look foreword from hearing from you again. Please quote me when you have made sufficient edits.

The picture is from a anime I just found called "Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan", I haven't watched it myself, i just found it while searching pictures lol.
First two abilities edited.
As for his Blood Affinity ability, drenched is probably not the best wording for this ability lol. I changed the name, and reworked the ability a bit. now he must be wounded first. He needs only to be bleeding from an injury for this ability to strengthen him. The more he bleeds, the stronger he gets, but with an increased cost to his body.
Alrighty! One last thing. Just for clarification, on the third ability. What do you mean 'until he rests' for the cool down?

It means his body can only handle that ability once a day. His body needs to rest before he can attempt that ability again. The body can only take so much.
