Yo, I'm Rose Monochrome you can call me Rose, Shelby (my real name), Shleby, or Penguin. Now is the time that I shall tell ya'll my life's story....Never mind because that would take forever! Thus I shall keep it basic. I'm from the greatest state ever which Texas. I used to be a YPK but now I'm a CPK and a PK. I love working with the youth group especially the junior high girls. I feel old due to my first group of jr high girls are about to graduate. I have ADHD and I'm proud of it! I love the color orange but I'm highly allergic to oranges. I'm obsessed with history. That's all I can think about for this rant about myself.

That's really neat that you get to work with preteens/teens like that. :3 I work with my church's toddlers once a month, and I can relate to feeling old as well. All the little kiddies I used to work with since...oh gosh, some of them I've known since shortly after they were born, actually. Now the youngest is six and a half and the oldest is I think going on ten...
Anyway, now I'm rambling. Welcome to the guild! :3

Jewelies Hello fellow history lover and person with ADHD! : D I'm Jewelies, or Jewel, whichever is easier to use and/or remember. X3 Nice to meet you! I also have ADHD and love history, if you couldn't tell from my greeting, haha. It's odd because they are a lot like jr high kids when it comes to enthusiasm. I used to babysit for a family of four and the oldest was four and now she's fourteen. I feel so old! I like working with them, too. :3 I don't know if it's my calling to work with them forever, but I am certainly enjoying it for as long as the Lord calls me to it. Oh wow! Kids grow up so fast. I know boys I used to watch when I was eighteen, the youngest was I think eight...he's probably sixteen or so now? Give or take a year or so. I saw them again a few years back and was just shocked at seeing them as teenagers. All my memories of them were when they were young, haha. X3 Junior high kids sound like they'd be pretty cool to work with, too. I've never worked with the age group myself, but I've met a lot of amazing preteens and teens who are totally on fire for the Lord, it's an amazing thing to see.

Though some of our middlers are like that, too. (Middlers is what we call the church group for the 6-12 year olds) If you try to be too crazy in class they tend to look at you like you really are crazy. How long have you been teaching for? :3

(Middlers is what we call the church group for the 6-12 year olds) If you try to be too crazy in class they tend to look at you like you really are crazy. How long have you been teaching for? :3 I've been teaching jr high girls for soon to be six years. I've taught children's church for nine.
