He's had them since he was born, but most think it is because of sleeping habits. Those habits are non-existent because he barely ever sleeps. If he can get to sleep it will only be for a few hours at a time, but that does not happen for a few days since the last time he was able to get to sleep. Wardrobe | His normal attire is a black long-sleeve shirt, with either fishnet under it or a white tank-top. Either one suits him well, but he rather the fish net for some odd reason. Other then his shirt, he normally wears black pants that are tight so he can use speed while fighting. Speed is everything for him.

Chapter OneCome as you are Five Hundred Twenty-one years ago. Do not let the past define you.
As a Twenty year old living in a small village out side of a large city in Japan, Azrael was a kind young lady, waiting for a man to sweep her off her feet. It came in the same year her brother turned thirteen [ 15 ], and started out on his own. She moved into his home soon, and they became really close. Soon her brother moved in as well, so he could start off working as a blacksmith that was next door to Azrael and her boyfriends home. It was a peaceful year, with no war or commotion to speak off. Near the end of the year and a half she was dating her boyfriend, he asked her to marry her. It was an instant yes, and she could not be happier. Nothing was going to ruin this for her, until that faithful night.
A few months after the engagement, their fire fell over during the night. It did not take long before the flames engulfed most of the house. Azrael woke up before both her brother, and fiance. Seeing the flames racing toward her, she woke up her fiance. Waking up, he noticed the fire and rushed toward the nearest watering hole. Getting water and coming back home, he noticed his soon to be wife stumbling out. She had burns across most of the right side of her body. She was barely conscious, because of the pain, but she could say that her brother was still inside. Racing in, her fiance tried to rescue her brother. As soon as he disappeared into the burning building, the house collapsed on top of them. Killing them both.
All of the villagers came to see what was happening, and all of them saw a crying Azrael and nothing left of her home. It was a sad sight to see, but they could do nothing. All they could do was comfort her.
Chapter TwoSmells like teen spirit Five Hundred Thirteen years ago. Somethings should stay hidden.
Eight years after the horrible accident, she died of a complication with her heart. Doctors said it had to much to bear, with all the injuries she had, either mental and physical. Having to deal with what she went through, was too much for her and she could not take it anymore. At least that is what her body said, but her mind wanted to keep moving. That is what both of them would want her to do. Dying was something the did not want to see happen to her. Especially not because of them.
Chapter ThreeIn Bloom Five Hundred Tweleve years ago. Calm, and peaceful.
After dying, she was sent to the spiritual realm to be judged. Her life was filled with nothing but heart break, even at her young dying age. That allowed her to stay where the soul reapers, shinigami, lived. Working as a farmer for years and years, with no where else to go. To her it was what she needed, but for some reason she always wanted to see what her protectors did. Living there for a year already made her feel kind of funny, since she knew nothing about this world. All she knew was this people were here for one reason, dying. Some might have died different ways, but she knew that they were all good people. If they were not, they would be off to a different place. She knew nothing about that place either, and she liked it that way.
Chapter FourHeart-Shaped Box Two Hundred Tweleve years ago. It was time.
She lived a life of peace for three hundred years, and she finally wanted to get into the Soul Society. Not just live there, but become a Shinigami. Doing that will make her feel important. Something she never felt while on earth, or in the Spirit realm. So she went there, and asked to join. It took them a while to get back to her, but she was admitted. Starting off as a sixth seat in squad seven would start her new journey.
Chapter FiveLithium Two Hundred Ten years ago. Fighting.
Learning to fight was the hardest part, and since she never held a blade before she wanted to learn hand-to-hand. Though it was the hardest part, she picked it up easily. Soon enough to kind of stopped where she was in learning the ability to wield a blade, but she kept trying to train her hand-to-hand combat. It became more impressive each time she fought, and she became one of the best fighters the soul society had. At least with fist she was. Even the captain commander would have trouble with her. That was something with a Third seat.
It took her forever to get to that rank, but she is happy she is there. Becoming captain was not her main goal, but if she did she will not let it go. To be that strong would help more people. That is what she wants to do no matter what.
Soon she became the Vice-captain of her squad, and captain a little after that. Her former captain died, and the only true successor was her.

Zanpakutō Activation Statement | Zanpakutō Blade Changes | [ XXX ] - After the activation statement is said, Gadeel's sword disappears into a flock a crows. The amount of crows is the discretion of the user, but they can be used for anything. Either it being a clone of himself, or a sword themselves. Nothing is off limits with this Shikai. Even the size of the crows can be picked by Gadreel. Shikai Abilities Ability OneCrow Clone This is an ability that produces a clone by projecting one's own spiritual energy to create of an unlimited amount of "crows". The dozens of crows come together to form the body of a clone. When the spiritual energy projected by the user is severed, the crows disperse, though the user is still able to continue to speak through it.
Ability TwoCrow Sword This is an ability that produces a sword using spiritual energy to create a single "crow". This "crow" can transform into a sword, that is unbreakable by an normal sword or shikai but can be broken by a bankai. If the user wants he/she can break the bond that makes the crow a blade, and it becomes a crow again. Then can be turned back into another sword, any time after.
Ability ThreeCrow Distraction This technique summons a flock of countless crows, dazzling the enemy. The user can freely manipulate the crows by emitting spirtual energy from his fingertips and altering it into high frequency waves. Since the crows continuously clone themselves, the target becomes completely surrounded, obscuring their field of vision. When no longer needed, the crows will simply disappear in a puff of smoke.

Zanpakutō Name | Eden Bankai Appearance | [ XXX Gadreel loses a blade, but instead of gaining an instrument for harming another person he gains new eyes. Though most people would not think anything of it, it is an extremely powerful bankai that will put the victim into an illusion. This illusion is like no other one because it literally can kill either the user, or the victim. Anyone can get hurt inside of this bankai, but first Gadreel has to get the person into the illusion. All he has to do is look into his/her eyes, and then they are transported into another place. Gadreel is God here, and can create anything he likes. Only thing he can not do is automatically kill the other person.
Bankai Limitations | Can create anything he likes that he will use to attack the victim After the couple minutes [ 15 ] are up the user is beyond tired, and can barely move Shikia, Captain, and Bankai, Vice-Captain, can harm the user The user can get killed in the illusion too

Zanjutsu | Her ability to wield a sword is far weaker then her ability with her fist. It is kind of sad to see her ability with a sword, but when you see her hand-to-hand you can see her really shine. Hakuda | Her ability to attack with her fist is far beyond her ability with a sword, and is far superior then most of her other captains. So she would rather fight with her fist, rather then her sword. Hohō | The speed she has, compared to her other captains, is faster but it is not like they can not see her. Every captain can see her, but they can not keep up with her in a straight line. Durability | Being a pure hand-to-hand fighter, Azrael durability is very high but that is only for fist. Her ability to defend against bladed attacks is very low, even with her blade out. Reiryoku | Azrael's pool of reiryoku is deep. Although rarely seeing battle any more, the lack of combat allows him to freely exert and use what she has in order to increase it.
