Erika fumbled, patting her whole body in search of the apartment key. Her current outfit lacked pockets, so she had stashed it somewhere...she just couldn't remember where she had put it. "Oh!" she chuckled, pulling a small silver key from the edge of her bra and unlocking the door. 'Aside from the mess of boxes and bags...its really beautiful.' she thought to herself as she walked in, closing the door behind her. Erika had lost sigh of Emile, she had taken a few wrong turns and somehow wound up in front of their apartment, she didn't exactly know how. She ran a hand through her hair, trying to even out her heavy breathing. She wasn't sure how close behind Emile was so she quickly searched through her boxes, looking for that special thing she wanted to keep hidden. She finally found it. A medium black wooden box, sealed shut by a lock so large it made the box tilt. "Oh sweet momma!" she sigh to herself, finding her room and hiding the box under her bed, reminding herself to find a better hiding spot next time.

((Half asleep sorry if my post is a little jumbled.)) Emile had been caught up with a phone call a few minutes before he arrived. The man had his cell between his shoulder and ear while balancing the last cardboard box. "No, Aime, I don't care if your apartment doesn't come with a hot tub or room service." The man began, already in a foul mood from the scene that played out in the cafeteria. "No. I won't speak with the headmaster about this." Emile shoved open the front door and dropped the box by the couch. "And no, I'm not going to report it to the authorities. It's not a crime when you can't get what you want." He explained, getting a better grip on the phone before pinching the bridge of his nose. "I have a lot of s**t to unpack, Aime. Goodbye." Click! The pureblood vampire stashed his cellphone in his back pocket and closed the door behind him. It didn't take long for the man to catch a scent within the apartment. s**t. Erika had beat him there. Sighing, Emile walked off to check on how she was doing. He stopped in the doorway and leaned against the frame. "Hey." He folded his arms and watched the girl. Erika glanced up at the sound of Emile's voice, he sounded pissed and she had blamed herself for it. She moved to look like she was just going through an old box, feigning surprise, "Just... going through a box, there's stuff here I never knew I had." she said, lying was a lot easier when some truth was added, at least Erika thought so. She was taught to lie only when it was needed, and there was a good excuse. Though this was. She stood up, sighing, "Look I'm sorry I had been crabby earlier. I couldn't find my target and was a bit on edge, you remind me that I'm suppose to be working and I forgot to filter my words." she had thought about it for a while. Measuring the pros and cons for apologizing, the cons we're much more. Though there was one pro that stood out, 'Safety.' and living with a pissed off assassin... it didn't seem safe at all, so she told herself it was a life preserver and apologized. "Anyways, how about we get everything in place and work a bit on the target, yeah?" She offered, trying her best to make the peace, though she was dying to snap at him for some reason.

((so my Internet has been out. Literally. For days. So I'm on my phone writing my replies. OOH if there's a headmaster could I be him? :3)) Emile shifted from his spot and watched Erika as she formally apologized. However, something didn't feel right. He had a feeling she either didn't mean it, or didn't want to say it. What a great start to their friendship. "Whatever." The man retorted with a scoff, walking into her bedroom and taking a seat on her bed. "I've already saved you the trouble, princess. I snuck into the headmaster's office and stole our target's file." Laying down, Emile folded his arms behind his head and stared up at the ceiling. "Sandy Valentine, nineteen, first year. I don't think she has a knight-- but we have bad news. Two other assassins are after her, which means we'll have to work twice as hard to get to her first." Emile sighed. He hated competition. "But-- since it's our first day, I decided we can rest." More like he could rest. The vampire sat up and stretched. "I'm going to take a nap. Don't invite anyone over." Sleepover. "And don't disturb me." Sleepover. Emile stood, looking over to Erika with a glare. "I mean it." All code words for, 'please dear god don't have a sleepover.' And with that, the assassin left the room and retired for the night in his. (( Sure, I really didn't think of headmasters. And no prob, I havent been really on gaia a lot either...)) Erika raised an eyebrow in confusion...she had apologized, so why was he being such a ... jerk? "Don't call me princess!" she quickly snapped, she wasn't trying to be rude, but what she had read about princesses had made her hate them immediately. They just sat there and waited for things to happen and people to protect you, Erika knew better than anyone that the only one there to protect her was herself. She sigh and listened as he gave information about Sandy that Erika hadn't even known, feeling slightly jealous that he had taken over to easily... he was suppose to be helping her, so why did it feel like she was just getting in the way? Oh right! because she had been too busy eating sweets and gaining weight while he worked, though she'd never openly say that. Her face changed as he mentioned the other two assassins, "Its an inconvenience..." she admitted, picking up the file and eying it quickly before looking up at him, a determined gleam in her eyes, she usually changed into a completely different person when on the job, it protected her from the evil things she had done. "But we can definitely take them." she stated, her lips pulled up into a smirk. Unlike Emile, Erika was extremely competitive, this would be fun for her... She nodded, her mind focused on Sandy now, she wanted some time to think and study her target, she wasn't exactly planning on having some house warming party... no matter how tempting it was, she had also gotten the hints loud and clear. "Whatever." she replied, using his own line on him, just to piss him off a little, she couldn't help herself.

Rosalind was climbing the large maple tree that was planted outside the window of the vampire's window. It was an easy task for her despite the tree having very little footholds and branches. After all, the girl had a green thumb and all plants responded to her beck and call. She eventually made it to the window and gently placed her fingers on the window pane. Poison acid seeped from her fingers and melted a hole big enough for Rosalind to put in her hand and lift the latch. Grabbing the window sill, she pushed up and sneaked into the boy's dorm bedroom.
As it turned out, Emile was sleeping peacefully. Napping in the middle of the day? Really? She thought with a slight smile and sauntered over to the bed. She sat on the edge of it and reached out to play with Emile's hair. If it was one thing she loved, it was his hair. The texture and feel of it was so easy to play with, although she found it a bit strange for his hair to have such a nice texture. Maybe he used conditioner. If so, she'd have to ask him what brand he was using. "You awake?" She whispered next to his ear and kissed his cheek. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂When The Love Falls

The muscular man rolled away when he felt someone brush against him. And again when he felt something stroke his hair and speak. All of which was distorted. Emile couldn't process what Rosalind was saying-- due to being slumberous-- and figured that it was Erika trying to harass him. Jesus, women were annoying. In a rough and raspy voice, Emile retorted with, "I swear to god I'll rip out your throat if you don't leave me alone." And soon retreated under the covers for some peace and quiet, scooting as far away from Rosalind as he possibly could. This gap left enough space for the demoness to climb in, as Emile clinged to the far side of the mattress. Hopefully after that detour, the man could finally go back to sleep. He didn't know what it was lately, but Erika was pissing him off. The vampire had made it clear to the woman that he didn't want to be disturbed. Yet here she was, fondling with his hair and man features. Which he was pretty sure was some form of sexual harassment. Emile just didn't know if it was illegal in the states. Lets Start A Riot

Rosalind simply smiled at Emile's childish response to her playful gestures. Sometimes, he reminded her of Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She laughed softly as she pictured him in an old baggy red shirt and a large brown beanie hat. When she had continued to play with his hair and he rasped out that threat, she rolled her eyes and watched as he rolled to the other end of the bed. "What a baby." She said and slipped under the covers with him after removing her shoes, socks, and jacket.
The part of the bed where he had been previously sleeping on was still warm and as she snuggled against him, shivers ran down the demoness's back. She knew Emile could be dangerous. Scratch that. He was. But, he was also a big cutie and a softie, something Rosalind knew he hated being called. The young girl stared at his backside, which he had facing towards her in his sleepy state. He sure did have a lot of wrinkles on his shirt. Using her finger, Rosalind traced the wrinkles on it and felt his muscles flex slightly with every inhale and exhale the vampire took. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂When The Love Falls

Erika glanced up at Linnia, she had decided that she was going to actually work and had a work station set out. There were file's all over the living room floor and she was writing down as much as she could on Sandy. Maybe Emile wouldn't kill her if she did what she was suppose to... It was innocent thoughts like that that made Erika more childish than anyone would think. She glanced up at Linnia wide-eyed, her eyes becoming watery as she held the bag of sweets, she could swear there was warmth coming from them. "I-Uh-" she choked on her own words as a lump grew in her throat, she didn't understand the feeling at all, "Thank you so much!" She squeaked out, moving to be kneeling up so she could reach up and hug linnia. "I dont know what it is... this feeling, but, thank you. I like it." Her smile grew wider until it became the epitome of happiness. Her fingers shook and there was a warmth that spread through her, the closest she had ever gotten to happiness was a vacation from killing, but this, it surpassed that. She couldn't really think or care about Emile at the moment, even if he would kill her later on, it was completely worth it.

She frowned as Linnia left, it seemed like she had just gotten there. "She's so nice..." she whispered to herself, watching the door for a few minutes. She didn't really know what she had done to deserve such a good friend, though a sting in her stomach told her that things were too perfect, something bad would happen to put whatever was making her happy off. Happiness never lasted long... that was the way Erika thought and felt. 'Enough dragging, lets do some work.' she reminded herself, turning back to her current task, Sandy's profile review. It had started with small childhood problems and she was already on her teenage years, not too much work left. Erika connected her speakers to the computer and began playing the only music she had known and every now and then liked. Country western. "Baby lock them doors and turn them lights down low..." she hummed along to the Josh turner song, it was catchy. She smiled, singing along to the music as she worked, it helped her concentrate, though that song was the only one she knew. She had found the cd on of her missions and the only song that would play was that one, to her, this was music.
