Hi, my name is Dorian Michael Xanders.But I mostly go by Dori. I'm a male.I'm 11 years old. My birthday is April 1. My dream job is... I'm not sure. Mum says I'm the dreamer of the family, so I've got a million ideas. I wanted to be something amazing... now I've got magic, which just opens up this entire world of possibilities that I don't even know about yet! Whatever I do, I want it to be amazing. And magical! My blood status is muggleborn. This is my first year here at Hogwarts. The house I'm in is Pending.I'm interested in... I don't really know yet. Maybe both? Still trying to figure it out.I'm currently with no one! I'm only eleven, after all.People say that, in a nutshell, I'm, well, a dreamer. I'm very over-dramatic at times, sometimes to the point of being obnoxious, at least according to my brothers... mostly Tyson, though. I'm not very organized, which drives him crazy. I'm also incredibly kind, and I believe in making everyone feel like they're important. I guess a good word to describe me would be effervescent... sort of hyper and happy. Never impatient, though. In spite of my hyperactivity, I'm also incredibly easy-going. I like to think I'm capable of making friends incredibly easily, although who knows; maybe I'll annoy other people as much as I do my brothers!My background story is that I was born the youngest of three brothers, triplets, in fact. I was born two minutes after my brother Julius, who was born five minutes after Tyson, all on April first. Growing up, people never believed it was our birthday... they thought it was a joke! Mum and dad were apparently very surprised to end up with three boys. They'd been expecting twins, which meant that I was, as mum always put it, 'a very special surprise.' She worked really hard to make sure I didn't think I was unwanted, though. Maybe spoiled me a little. Just a bit, though!
My brothers and I were a handful, even when we were on our best behavior. Weird stuff always happened, things would end up in places they shouldn't have been, places our parents didn't put them and we couldn't have possibly reached. A cold glass of water would suddenly be warm, a cup of tea would have far more sugar than Mum had put in it. Our parents pretty much wrote it all off. They'd forgotten they'd put that there, the room must've warmed the water. Little Dori added the sugar when we weren't looking... that one happened quite a bit, actually. Our parents decided to hire a nanny to help care for us, but the strangeness only got worse as we got older, and she quit. She was able to handle Tyson's teddy suddenly being in his bed after being put away on a high shelf, and Julius' sneezing and making napkins fly around the room like they were caught in a tornado (a draft, she said to that one)... but then I decided I liked the color blue very, very much... and the next morning we all woke up with blue hair! No one could explain it, and after hours and hours of trying to wash the color out, the Nanny declared it impossible and quit in a huff. Thankfully, we were old enough to go to school by then, so we were away most of the day.
Unfortunately, the trouble followed us to school... only now it was happening to other students, seemingly because of us. Things got harder and harder to explain, until one Summer day, there was an owl tapping on our window, holding letters addressed to us. My brothers and I, that is, not our parents. One for each of us... Mum read them and couldn't believe it. According to the letters, we were wizards! I was all for that idea, I mean, how cool would that be? But our parents weren't convinced... at least, not until the next day, when a man arrived at the house and proved it! Mister Edgeworth, I think was his name, he came to the front door, pulled out a wand, gave it a wave, and suddenly all the furniture in the living room was levitating! It was a great trick, that, and it more than convinced Mum and Dad... although they were sitting on the couch so that might've had something to do with it!I enjoy magic! I mean, I've only just really discovered it, but it's great fun. And, I like doing puzzles, and reading. I also enjoy playing with my brothers, at least when they're not being boring or annoying. When they are, I just play pretend, which I also love to do!I despise cleaning... leave it to Tyson. He likes it, anyway. I also hate vegetables. They're gross. Except carrots, those're okay. And corn... okay I guess I just hate the green ones. And, I hate being stuck indoors all day, especially when I don't have a new puzzle to do or a book to read. Most of all, though, I hate being bored. It's so... boring! Life should be fun!I'm afraid of something bad happening to my brothers and being all alone... I mean, I've been with them my whole life, what would I do without them? I'm also afraid of the dark, but don't tell anyone. Mum always leaves one of those electric candles lit in the bedroom, and tells Tyson and Julius it's so the room will smell nice and we'll have nice dreams, but it's really so I don't have to sleep in the dark. My strengths are that I'm very friendly, and very imaginative! It's a good thing, because it keeps me from being bored.My flaws are that I'm sort of absent-minded at times. I tend to get my head stuck in the clouds. Plus, I'm really disorganized with my things. I lose stuff all the time.I look like this! My wand is eleven inches, Pear, with a Fairy wing core (I really hope the fairies shed their wings... or died of natural causes and they were collected later... you know, something that didn't hurt them), springy. My pet is a a mouse, named Sir Kiwi Squeakers... although I just call him Kiwi most of the time.~ Ⅺ ~Utsuha
