Dusty's ears perked up. She dug her paws into Natalie's head to warn her that a wild Pokemon is nearby.
"Alright, I get it! You can stop that now!" The trainer laughed and moved the Emolga to her shoulder to fix her hair.
"Emol em!" The Emolga squeaked as she went on the alert, ready to take on whatever tries to attack.

Dusty quickly shoved Natalie down with all her little Emolga-strength to protect her from the ice beam, an attack which blasted her away. She shivered a bit from the chilly attack and stretched out her "wings" to shake off any icy flakes from her fur before taking off into the air and launching a thunder bolt at the Lopunny.

The ice beam blasted Dusty off again. After getting back up, she saw that the thunderbolt won't be much as help at this point, she released a signal beam instead.
