⧫Name:Toulouse ⧫Pronunciation:too-LOOS ⧫Name Meaning:With his twin brother, named after French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec ⧫Gender:Male ⧫Stage:Pokémon ⧫Sexuality/Status:Unknown / Single ⧫Height:1' 8" ⧫Weight:Slightly above average due to the thickness of his shell ⧫Pokémon:Squirtle ⧫Nature:Impish (klutzy)
⧫Myers-Briggs Type:ENFP (idealist type, champion role-variant) ⧫Personality:When push comes to shove out in the wilds of Gaia, Toulouse cannot be considered the most sociable of random encounters one could make. The young squirtle has difficulty relating to others on a peer-to-peer basis, instead acting more the role of the enabled prankster when given the opportunity. Many aspects of life are not tackled with a properly-formed idea in his mind, preferring to run headlong into any issues that arise and leaping before much more than a pale notion is identified. Toulouse is a full-blown dreamer who has difficulty separating fantasy from reality, having convinced himself that the world is his playground. He doesn't just use his gut instinct, he heavily relies on it, despite the fact that it has proven to backfire more often than help. He possesses a strong determination that he is invincible, despite numerous and frequently repeated mishaps. ⧫Likes:Likely the most notable of Toulouse's likes are his affinity for shiny or otherwise valuable things, in any sense of the word -- it is, after all, part of his self-proclaimed profession, and have oftentimes been found at the wheel to his life. Making use of his abilities and having the opportunity to show off has prime preference, and he will gladly hop to any task that strokes such ego. With how active him and the band of bandits he's a part of are, plots come and go, but when they actually work is where that preferential line is drawn. If it wasn't obvious, Toulouse's favorite color is brown, and he has an affinity for earthy colors in general. ⧫Dislikes:Despite his pride at the work he does and the role he walks within the troupe, his actions can be extremely counterproductive in the whole scheme of things. He is not the best at being quiet or sitting still, sometimes outright forgetting that volume matters and is always evident. A little taste of the limelight can go far for one's overall demeanor, and Toulouse is no exception: he despises feeling ignored, and will proceed to attempt to right such injustice if provoked into thinking he's being shunned. Loudly. Even though he is no stranger to and can handle it well, he dislikes injury, and depending on his frame of mind, isn't above whining about the smallest of them. ⧫Other Quirks:Toulouse seems to be confused as to the differences between numerous martial arts, spouting that he knows kung-fu as a catch-all term, even though he more or less makes things up as he goes along. He is highly inspired by comic books and movies, and would probably be one of the reasons why there are disclaimers to not "try this at home." The squirtle always seems to verbalize his own sound effects to fill the silence as he works, invariably negating anything stealthy he was attempting to accomplish. Without fail, in games of Rock-Paper-Scissors, Toulouse will always pick "scissors." Always.
⧫Approx. Level:12 ⧫Ability:Torrent - Increases Water-type moves by 150% when HP is less than or equal to ⅓ maximum.
⧫Moveset: -Tackle - default move -Tail Whip - learned as pokémon -Water Gun - learned as pokémon -Withdraw - learned as pokémon
Toulouse is his master of himself, thank you very much! Unless one were to count Jocosus, but... eh, he's more the boss of the place, not a trainer. While a lackey, it's not so bad being the right-hand man, even if he has to share the position with his brother.

From an early age, Toulouse and his brother Lautrec were the studious pupils of comic book nerd-dom. While he couldn't pinpoint where exactly it was that such obsession spilled forth into a way of life, for a wild pokémon, it wasn't difficult to end up using such analyzed ability towards their own gain: the role of the bandit paralleled the vigilante much of the time anyway, they just had to look out for themselves instead of those around them! With practice came skill, and with skill grew confidence -- it was only a matter of time before it would snowball into more grandiose capers... and idiotic side quests.

Toulouse only has a single noted blood-relation at present, as he has never had the need to mention any others, if they exist in recollection. Regardless, Jocosus and his group of bandits minions is more than enough family for the young squirtle.

While there is no specific place that could really be considered all that "homey," he travels with Jocosus and the other bandits under the heatran's claw. Toulouse spends the majority of his downtime where forest meets Matsutta Volcano, a place riddled with so many twists and turns that make it easy to get lost -- at least, as long as you weren't one of those responsible for such incomprehensible winding in the woods (the tunnels through the mountainside aren't much better, for anyone looking for a back entrance). Camp is stationed at a crevice in the side, perfect for ambushes on those unsuspecting folks who manage to find it.

While Toulouse might not have too many objects to his name, the mishmash that he does possess tends to be wildly unhelpful to the progress of the group. While his things may shuffle around a bit, especially when sharing isn't out of the question between teammates, there are some objects that may have more of a story or attachment to the young bandit.
⧫Comic Books:Most of the books are not in prime shape, torn and dirty, but Toulouse's collection is still greatly enjoyed, even if he has since built upon the initial idea outlined within their pages. They are mostly shared solely between himself and Lautrec, if only for the fact that others see it as being a bit too childish.
⧫Varied Weaponry:Most are stolen, a couple were bought with stolen funds, but all are in various states of helpfulness. There are a few plastic props, but even those have their uses. This is not Toulouse's own personal stash, either, and he would be happy to share amongst the rest of the group, just so long as they're put back when mission has been accomplished!
⧫Stash of Shinies:Hidden in a grungy leather pouch, Toulouse has a small collection of smaller items that he deems valuable in one sense or another. Most of them are trophies from past adventures, usually when events turned favorably, but quite a few are actually pawn-worthy in a pinch.
