Not far off the outskirts of Neutral City lies the hilly, green grasses of the Pristine Fields. On a nice warm day these fields are often used by families and friends socialising. It's great for sports, parties, or simply hanging out for a walk.

It was barely mid-afternoon by the time the group had got themselves ready and were heading down to the carnival at the Pristine Fields. It was a break Laxion was looking forward to, and who better to spend it with than his team? Brushing his feet through the grass he let the breeze brush past his face as he lifted his hands behind his head. He loved the air, the natural scent, the natural wind that made the grass reflect in different shades of green in smooth patterns across the fields. He stayed in his armour though, turns out (he was convinced) that the armour reflected a lot of the heat and kept him cool. And after their adventure with Lilly and Lottie he didn't want to risk something coming up and he didn't have his armour again. Alexis looked up at the tents and rides that had been erected, so many prizes, food to taste and drink to consume. And the best part about Neutral City's carnivals... they're cheaper than anywhere else! No one to compete with, not a huge population to deal with, no entrepreneurs. Laxion wondered how Kyne would enjoy this, giving him a quick glance before looking back at the carnival.
"Oh" Laxion then said, the scroll beside him suddenly glowing a faint light. Taking off the string that held it on his waist he said "Ruby, I- I think the Psychic scroll finally has a message!". He'd waited, they'd both waited months for a reply from Lucas since they last saw him. And even that was brief because of the circumstances. Where had he been? What had he been gone for exactly? They'd asked the summit but all the monks had to say were that he was away on syndicate business, but a personal journey. Unwrapping the scroll and holding it out before him the white lines of light emerged from the parchment and it was indeed a message hand-written by Lucas Purevelion.
"Team Elixer,
I'm sorry for ignoring your messages, but my Psychic Scroll has been interfered with for some time. I'll be with you shortly, there's something i need to speak to all four of you about.
Lucas Purevelion"
"Well" Laxion said, "Guess there's more waiting..." with a sigh. And then his mobile began to ring, with wide eyes he stuffed the scroll away and tried to find his phone. It was one from Entei, obviously, all nano-like and top-notch technology. Alexis pulled the 'not bad' face upon realising. Reading the caller ID he pulled and expression of anticipated as he answered. "... Hello?" he asked. Then a voice answered on the other side of the call, and Laxion let out a sigh of relief as he said "You sound terrible, we heard about everything-" Nyru then started talking mid-sentence, but Laxion let him. Alexis meanwhile walked over to kyne and said "Wonder where to start...". She had grown up a little bit in the twenty-odd years she's had to relive. She still looked the same, but felt older, and far more mature than she ever used to. No doubt, Ruby was keen to get in on the phone-call too. "You're parents?" Laxion then asked, but then he quickly added "oh, so they'll be gone soon... But we can see you soon?" he asked "... I... can see you soon?". He smiled softly at the reply.
((Sorry for moving along again Pyro, I hope you don't mind if i take the liberty of very vaguely including Kyne into the RP until you reply, just so that he can be included and not left out.))

Ruby
The grass field smelled freshly cut and the blades of grass brushed against her leg armor. The reflection of the field was crystal clear in her polished plates and the sun sparkled off of the mirror surface. Laxion and her learned from their mistakes of being unequipped during Lilly's venue even if it was just a simple town carnival they were attending. Besides, throughout the year, Team Elixer has been praised for their successful conduct although this is balanced by being despise by enemies. Some of their adversaries would love to catch them off guard and finally wring their necks to avenge their defeats. Before Ruby, red and white stripped tents, the undeniable aroma of junk food, and the joyous screams of people riding on roller coasters attacked her senses. She had aged a year older of course but her child like mentality stuck with her which the others viewed her the same companion as ever.
The albino was ready to leap onto the littered terrain when the parchment on Laxion's side glowed a soft whitish blue. A message from the walking conundrum himself appeared on the scroll stating that he would be there soon. Ruby sighed knowing that Lucas wouldn't arrive until hours maybe days later so she wasn't to surprised. The child stomped her feet aggressively and said, "Dad better get here before I eat all the food and get all the prices!" She remains confident in herself to gather as much victories as she could muster acting like its a goal or training exercise. Rolling up the scroll, the element tied it back to his side and at that moment his advanced technological phone rang. Alexis was certain impressed with the electronic, but left the male to his private conversation to address Kyne. Was he to old to be at the carnival or was she just to adolescent for his taste?
Out of curiosity, Alexis badgered Laxion about who was on the other line but she already new the answer. Smiling devilishly at his smile, she innocently said, "I see why your so taken by him. Give Claudia my regards." The girl mush have embarrassed the crap out of him like a noisy little sister and ran ahead into the festival grounds. She stopped by a shoot duck game, picked up the rifle, and hit every target winning a gigantic stuffed bear.

((Glad you don't mind! I know exactly how much of a pain bbcode is on phones, my, god, i hate it. ))
When he was suddenly badgered by Ruby, it was all too obvious that she knew who was on the other end. And unlike any other circumstance this was the only time she or anyone could possibly get him at his least calm to embarrass him. When he told Nyru her message and eventually got off the phone his sighed and then jokingly said "Some calls are private, yanno!" as he crossed his arms as if to look ashamed, obviously not however as he kept one eye lid open to see her reaction. But she had already vanished and made her escape to a shoot duck game at a nearby stall.
"As uncontrollable as ever" Alexis exclaimed with her hands on her hips and a smile before striding off to follow her companion. Laxion made his way to Kyne before they both followed them. The two of them conversed along the way. On their way over they all got to understand what happened to Alexis, she got to know Kyne much better. Obviously, she already knew him, but not so personally. When she went through that portal in time on Christmas Eve, she appeared in the past and ever since had been hunting down Zoltan's remaining time-travelling servants. Mostly succeeding, she changed time and saved her father, who now owns the café, thankfully. However, it all created a crisis, and now she is out of her timeline and no longer ages, a gift, and a curse.
When Ruby let off a bullet, a crack of thunder eerily roared int he distance. Laxion then raised his brows and gave Alexis a spooky look as the blonde looked to Ruby after. She shrugged her shoulders and awaited for Ruby to go at it again. And amongst the focus and the tension of waiting for her to win, the thunder roared once more, but closer, and more menacing, before she even amde the shot. "But it was sunny just-" Alexis said as she took some steps back to look over the stool and up to the horizon. She stopped talking though when she saw the rolling black clouds coming from the north, and fast. She could sense something magical about it, and not in a fantastical way, either. Laxion and Kyne then got nosey too, and took a look. Much to their suprise the storm was definitely moving south very quickly and in no time the place would be consumed in darkness.
Suddenly, Laxion's ears were filled with shrieking scream from a young girl somewhere in the carnival.Shortly following it was a crash as debris was chucked into the air. Thunder beckoned once more and this time cries broke out as crowds ran from behind them from another direction. Laxion and Alexis had no words, btu both of them clutched their weapons, both of them spinning their sceptres until Alexis' became a long steel scythe and Laxion's became his now dual-tipped spear. Heavy footsteps could be heard, and the ground beneath them shook like small miniature earthquakes. Then, without even a moment to breath one of the empty stalls crashed open, debris flying across the field as a horrific, fat demon with four bulbous legs and great arms with two large swords in both hands. From behind it came spears of shadows that hit the ground and thrust upwards to form into people, dark cultists with books that aided the giant creature. Stretching it's arms it then roared, exposing its great grey teeth and bloody mouth, eyes small and like black indents into it's skull. And then, the cultists ebgan to summon small and chattering demons to do their dirty work.
Suddenly, Laxion felt out-matched, "Sh*t* he exclaimed unde rhis breath as he stared ownards. That thing was HUGE, and those summoners were bringing cannon-fodder to distract them. Not to mention the storm was covering quick and the sunny day had become dull and horrific. He knew that the public would hopefully run to safety, but that meant Team Elixer had to do what it did best and hold back the demons. "It's like the well of Immortality all over again, right guys?!" then giving a quick glance to Kyne who had his fists flaming with confidence as he added "This time we got some fire on our side!"
He honestly wasn't sure how they'd do this, but they had to!
((feel free to to some combos! And Pyro, if you see this, i hope it's okay to give Kyne some starlight by RP'ing some of his attacks whilst your away? I'll do my best to give him justice!))

Ruby
He's embarrassed all right and he had the nerve to lecture her about the importance of private conversation. If he didn't want to be catch he should have split away from the group and talked under a tree. Ruby stuck her tongue out in arrogance as he ranted but of course this fight wasn't serious or anything. The elemental's posture proved otherwise as the adults walked into the area together reminiscing. Alexis hadn't known Kyne on friendship terms like they did and it was exciting to see the two have quiet a bit in common. The fire wield exchanged the story of his heroic question to save this family from bandits, while the blonde brought up Christmas Eve's time traveling extravaganza. After Zoltan's demise, his servant managed to escape and claimed to resurrect his master although dark magic has its tolls. The child stayed out of their babbling forcing on wining a stuffed bear that she wouldn't know what to do with.
Strangely, once the bullet cracked, the sky imitated the sound making Ruby cover her ears out of instinct. However, she would go back to aiming her gun at the ducks acting like nothing was wrong. This time, the thunder punctured the terrain near them and the skies blackened covering the warm optimistic sun. Alexis even mentioned the weather out loud to assure the others that something ominous was about to manifest over the fields. The pandemonium around Team Elixer was more than detracting enough to pull her out of her wining strike, and claim her prize bitterly. A seven year old girl began whaling as her mother tried to comfort her which made Ruby irritated. Not at the child's crying but at the fact that this sudden gloom intentional dragged people down. The carnival is suppose to be a place where families and friends erase their worries with their lips flapping freely in the wind. Debris became unsettled by one of the strikes of thunder and inside that light was an unholy abomination. Four jiggling legs that looked like decomposing flesh held its bulbous frame, and on top a ting head was perched.
It's sunken black beady eyes glanced down at it's equipped opponents and the spear shadows behind it shifted into the cultist Alexis fought. The albino narrowed her deep red eyes and combined her guns into a sword. She lifted her hand with the crystal bracelet on it which transformed into the crystalline sword that Kyne gave her. Cold fire ignited from the blade, but had no effect on her skin once so even considering she was the owner of it. Alexis's arcane staff extended into a scythe, Kyne summoned flames to his finger tips, and Laxion's duel tipped spear manufactured itself. The ogre roared showing its gray bloody fangs as it stopped its massive feet into the earth disrupting the peace.
Her black haired counterpart seemed intimated by his side, but her on the other had could care less. Being out numbered was no skin off her noise because she had become confident in herself. Especially with the white jewel secreting its energy into her their was nothing she couldn't accomplish. Ruby's attitude became cocky and she smirked at Laxion's comparison of the well and now. "Yeah right, this should be a slice of cake to that spider wench. We're no longer armatures so lets n** this in the bub! Turn up the heat, Kyne!" She yelled as she took off in front of them and sliced a cultist right in half without an complications. One attacked from her blind spot, but sensing his resistance, the girl stepped to the side being her crystalline sword with her slicing right through him.

◊◊◊▐Ω▌◊◊◊
Ruby entered the fray and with strength she sliced through the cultists as if she were a hot knife through butter. When the cultists' bodies hit the floor their remains turned dry and left no blood as their bodies turned into want seemed as though they had been dead for months. When one thought it had the upper hand and raised its dagger to stab her neck, it was quickly reprimanded by Ruby, who sliced it's body into two once more. That was when the bulbous monster stomped forwards and has both it's gigantic swords raised high to come down onto the ground where Ruby stood, Laxion then burst forwards with a gust of wind as he spun his spear and the tips came loose with magic chains. The blades spun and slices like knives at it's legs, stopping it's attack as it turned it's attention. Landing, and his spear turning back to normal Kyne let loose with fireballs as Alexis cast a spell on the ground beneath him to let him jump up high. As he came down he brought his fist deep into the monster's side with a flaming punch that burst the horror a few steps to it's side. But even Kyne was out-sized by this machine, he was barely bigger than it's head. As he landed, Alexis spun her scythe round her body like a clock as 12 arcane missiles formed around her, another clock-work spin of her weapon and they were sent soaring through the sky to deal with the pesky vermin the cultists were summoning before they could get to Kyne. Laxion used his air magic to throw himself backwards, away from the recovering brute as a gathering group of cultists, fresh cultists from behind the monster shouted "FEEL THE WRATH OF LUCIFIAL!!!" in a dark, sinister and rumble collected voice.
Alexis then recognised the demon's name, all these monsters here were part of Lucifial's army, and with that she cursed under her breath and said "Damn it, all this time i thought those cultists were Zoltan's remnants!... I was wrong", she gritted her teeth and looked as though she were to growl like a great cat at her enemy. Going in for another wave, Laxion shot forwards and as the beast's foot came down to squash him he shot into the air, attacking the brute's face with several slashes and slices before landing behind to deal with the vermin the cultists were summoning once more. Kyne went in, too, punching, breaking bodies, and using his sheer force of fire to eliminate his enemies quickly. Alexis swung her scythe pack behind her side as the blade straightened to a spear-tip, "Ruby!" she shouted "Distract the brute, i need time!".
As Ruby did her best, Alexis swung her staff up high above her to charge the arcane energy, and when lightning finally struck her like the tallest point of a skyscraper during a frantic storm, she cried "I'm ready!". Alexis felt the power resonating through her body, it was a great spell and if this didn't work then she didn't think she'd be able to concoct it again before a short rest! With glowing arcane eyes she pointed the staff at the brute's head as she jumped up into the air using an arcane platform beneath her (much like in her picture above). When her energy was released an arcane beam burst from her weapon and soared through the air and pummeled the monster's head and down it's body, leaving behind a destroyed mess of a body as it flopped to the floor with a great big thud. Laxion felt the mini earthquake and quickly disposed of a group of vermin with a small tornado, combined with Kyne's fire to scorch them until they were nothing bust ashes.
With a sigh, she thought it was over, but... to her shock and horror... another brute just as big charged towards them after destroying one of the rides when it crashed through it. They all tightened grips on their weapons as they began wondering how to deal with this, they couldn't loose, they weren't even too tired yet either! They were ready for battle! But how long could they keep them here?! But then the heavens lit up with a bright light that broke the dark clouds above, though it was like a pin-p***k through the darkness, it was warm and light at least. A power was gathering up there, and Laxion couldn't help but wonder if it were Lucas.
When the light finally gave life to something, a misty white aura shot like a great ball with a sharp tip as it plummeted down to the earth and landed on the brute's head in a flurry of light and magic. When the mist finally gathered like white-hot metal, Lucas Purevelion's body was formed, and the Purevelion blade was deep into the monster's head, dead already. Twisting the blade, then pulling it from from the brute's head as it tumbled to the floor, Lucas jumped to the grass and swung his blade to his side were the blood splattered to the emerald green grass. Turning to face them he said "I don't think now is a good time to converse" seeing the obvious eagerness in Laxion's face, but behind them, as Lucas turned around to face his back to them, more cultists and their vermin awaited, but no more brutes.
It looked like the final wave, but the cultists in teh distance looked to be holding open some sort of portal, "Ruby!" Laxion shouted. "They're coming from that portal!"
((Uhm, i hope i didn't steal too much lime-light! Feel free to go as insane as you wish :3, but yay! Lucas is back!"

Ruby
In the duration of the training period, Ruby had become an expert swords woman and her aim never missed either. However, the real power she wanted to tap into was the crystal and she did it once by accident when she was meditating. Entei and the monks couldn't control her so Lucas and Laxion had to hold her down while Entei performed a spell that forced her into submission. Could she use that compulsion to defend her group if needed? The cultist catapulted from every angle but the child could sense their aura flying towards her, and would agilely move her blades through their corpses like anatomies. One shriveled up in front of her when she had brought it down and it made her wonder if this army was summoned by necromancy? Did Zoltan's student have the knowledge to reanimate men and assimilate a unit of them at once? Even the most advanced dark magic users couldn't handle the amount of strain this incantations puts on their body. The ogre trumped forward, raised its scimiters, and brought them down over Ruby. If Laxion hadn't interfered with his freely maneuvering spear that dissected its appendages, she would have been a goner for sure. The sheer weight of the weapons would crush her frame into a flat pancake like a cartoon of sorts. It diverted its attention from her and it was Kyne's turn to resonate with his teammates.
Fire hovered over his muscular palm as Alexis beckoned an arcane circle under his feet for him to rise up to the monster's face level. His fist curved into the beast's side ripping through the flesh and tissue, leaving a burning carcass smell behind, but it still stood fumbling to the side. The ablino had to jump out of the way, and stabbed down into a cultist's skull while doing so. The blonde wasn't about to sit back and take a nap either because she spun her staff clockwise twice sending arcane missiles in every direction possibly eliminated several entities. Laxion removed himself while in midair with his wind and even though Kyne was surrounded he vanquished the masked covered men in a second. Suddenly, the creature bellowed its allegiance to Lucifical and with the echo of its chant more cultist fabricated to make a never-ending fleet. Much to her friends astonishment, she assumed the army was Zoltan's magnum opus, but it was clear that they were dealing with Hell's dictator himself.
The elemental wasn't intimidated in the slightest and confused the ogre by glide to its massive foot that was ready to trample him, but launched himself upwards. He marked the face until it could no longer be confirmed as to what it is, and the pryo didn't extinguish the heat because it felt like it was licking her back side. Ruby was called to distract the mongrel so Alexis could unleash her full potential and bring the monster down in one fatal swoop. She bounced off one of the vermin's heads and penetrated the brutes calf which she repeatedly stabbed seeing that it became irradiated. The arcane mistress charged all her energy and warned her that she was going to let lose her technique any second now. Pulling back, the girl landed in the middle of a group of cultist and began hacking away at them like it was no big deal. Alexis hoist herself into the atmosphere and allowed gravity to careen her down into the ogre's cranium and body resulting in a hollowed hole. It flopped back falling on top of its brothers and shaking the earth all round knocking a lot of enemies off balance. Laxion and Kyne were fazed because they combined their attacks to create a flaming tornado that wiped out an entire section.
Ashes floated along the battle field but the war was far from over judging by the size of another monster coming their way. Mutilated one of the rides, Ruby became pissed because it was one that she wanted to go on and now she wouldn't have a chance to. Their endurance was spent quiet yet so they could repeat their efforts, but Heaven decided to have mercy on their mortal and immortal bodies. That thin needle of light encroached on this new foe's head, and when the white mist evaporated Lucas has stuck his sword in its head with finesse. With a clean cut, he decapitated the brute and its body fell to the ground like the other one disturbing the surface once again. Purevelion cautioned that this wasn't the time or place for a reunion but the good new was that the cultist had no more giant assets on their side. Laxion foresaw the portal to the south and addressed it specifically to her knowing that she could get to it.
Ruby dashed forward jumping up, throwing the crystalline blade into the air, and parting the guns showering bullets down on the cultist. When she was about to land she catch her the sword and brought it down on an unfortunate masked man near her. She looped through the groups of them slickly and passed Lucas looking him in the eyes before she dove into the new fleet. Her guns were pressed back together revealing the crystal myrithal blade and hacked through them as if they were paper. Her adrenaline pumped and the jewel embedded in her chest glowed encasing her body in light. Every time her blade swung, a sonic wave of light shot out incinerating all in its path. In no time at all, the portal was just a few inches in front of her and without hesitation she thrust her sword inside ready to pull out whatever was on the other side. "Come out, come out!" Ruby shouted insanely and laughed mockingly beginning to lose control.

He stayed back as he regained his breath, and Alexis was still restoring her mana reserves after that big attack, she could feel the drain within her. Any sort of magic right now would be like a fart. But looking in the distance, as Kyne and Laxion rushed forwards they knew for sure that Ruby had this, her precision and skill made it all go smoothly, and she didn't even take a single hit when she took them out. Stopping nearby Laxion clenched his fists, her sudden maniacal guffaw set an unease in him, he trusted her to do what she had to do but a small part of his mind thinks that maybe her youth, and the child that never had teh time to mature within her, is enjoying the power of the now stable jewel.
She stuck her blade within, waiting for something to come out, but Lucas saw the portal tembling and becoming unstable now that it's master's are dead. "Ruby!!" Lucas yelled as he ran forwards, but he had to be faster! Jumping into the air he turned into a flurry of white light and aura as he shot to the sky and plummeted back down against right beside her and tugged her way as he was still materialising from the light. He pushed her aside as the portal collapsed, luckily not taking her with it, but the small explosion thrust the both of them down to the ground.
The others then rushed over, but Lucas was already up and helping Ruby stand with a hand, and nothing close to a displeased face, but a respectable expression, filled at its depths with fear. "Are you alright?" Kyne asked, coming forwards as the proud man he was.

Ruby
Ruby was so focused on the portal that she didn't realize her blade being absorbed along with her. However, Lucas associated herself with her insanity as well with the portal's usual capacity. The instructor yelled her name and jumping into the air cocooning himself in his divine light, he rained down like a meter and hit the ground. A crevice was left where he ported and he grabbed her arm tugging her out of the portal. He tossed her aside safely, and once she was out the gate lifted into the air and exploded keeping it's existence secret. Lucas and her were flung back but he ignored the ordeal and went over to her immediately. The female was expected a lecture, but his lack of speech frightened her. The others asked if they were okay but not having a single scratch on her could indicate otherwise.
The jewel barely activated but the power so intense that she got carried away and but everyone's life at risk. Furthermore, she didn't want to believe she was a burden so like a stubborn kid she stated, "Lucas...don't get in my way again." This could be taken in different context but she hoped he took it as a warning. Apparently, even though the jewel was under control, she felt that the monks were right about her being dangerous. Without a word, she ran towards the damaged carnival grounds scanning them for hurt civilians.

Her warning felt like half a warning and half a threat, but Lucas knew how she meant it. Brushing himself down and nodding to Kyne to say he was fine he let the team look around for any surviving demons and any hurt civilians.
After some searching Lucas called the team together and said "It would seem the public managed to avoid getting hurt - this time" his tone givign a sense of instability as he said " this is no ordinary one-off attack, we need to be careful from now on". Laxion scratched the back of his head in thought, and then asked "Where did they come from? They're not like the odd demon you'd see pop up from some tortured soul?". Lucas nodded slowly, it was a good question, but it took Purevelion some time to finally come out with his answer. "I would have to admit, with my deepest regrets that we are dealing with demons straight from the burning Hells." There was almost a deathly silence, Laxion's chest suddenly felt uneasy, he was always prepared for a war of somekind, but never actually expected the demons of hell to invade again. "Shouldn't that be impossible? Hellgate is-" Laxion was almost able to say that much before Purevelion finished the sentence for him "Is destroyed... Somehow, somewhere, i would have to suggest that one of the Lords of Hell has found a way into the world, and with all their power" he said looking up to the sky.
This was nothing like the time when En'radial invaded, she only had half her original power with the Crimson Jewel, she wasn't even given that much power to access Hell, that is why her war was so swiftly ended, it was pathetic in almost all descriptions. But this was the work of a leader from hell with supremacy."This has to be the world of either, Dantézan: Lord of Ruin, Lucifial: Lord of Betrayal... or Valial. "

The search was more like a quick sweep of the area luckily all the refugees made it to a safe place and all the demons were annihilated. Purevelion spared no expensive to get the group together in order to tell them the really tragedy at hand. Apparently, they would be on guard as all times considering where the demons came from. The corruption of a human's heart only varies depending on how tainted they have become but Hell's own personal army was nothing to sneeze at. They would keep coming and if a line of defense feel it would be replaced by another. Laxion's inhaling deeply meant that he was either scared or on the verge of screaming due to the irritation this situation is causing. Even though, Hellgate was destroyed over the course of so many years ago, the rulers of the underground found a way to slip through. That spider woman couldn't have been a possible candidate for the Lord's of Darkness return because like Lucas said she maintained half of her original force.
Ruby crossed her arms and spoke after being silent for a while. She didn't dare tell them how hot the temperature was expelling from the portal although the burn marks from her weapon heating up was visible on her hands. She hid her palms, but if she wanted to she could have plunged straight into Hell and tried to finish Lucifial or Valial herself. They would have the advantage of their own territory and she needed her friends by herself. As much as she tried to act tough and idependent she wouldn't be here if it weren't for them. "So where do you think we should start?"

((Sorry it has taken me so long to get here, like, wow. But today my passion for RP has come back a lot xD))
Ruby asked the question that began it all, it would be the start of a new chapter for Team Elixer. But the pages would be written in blood and the parchment would be lit by dull candles as the darkness would slowly consume all the bloody descriptions. Lucas barely had to think, he knew where to start, and he was proud to say that he had a team of what he could easily call, adventurers, now. No, heroes. Lifting his head out of the darkness he could feel beckoning them he said "At the start" before giving each of them an eye-full. "We shall go directly to Skyfall, our libraries have scrolls from the Order. Hopefully our scholars will find what we must know about the Greater Demons". Unfortunately, the scrolls had gone un-looked at for centuries, the last invasion from Hell was almost legend now, and no one ever thought such a thing would happen, so all the generations alive now would have to re-learn what they are up against. Anyone could fend off a Demon, a normal demons, the lesser beings were often stupid and needed guidance. Naturally, on the occasion they could be more difficult than others, more so in the Land of Crows... those in Magic Earth that were no so magically gifted or skilled in any art would find themselves in trouble in these situations. But like a grinding gear in his throat, he knew that the threats among them were well managed, and far stronger demons would be stepping onto the surface of their world.
"I am sure that by now the distress beacons will be lit, and you will by no doubt be working alongside other Guardians and Elites" he thought of the grand Ravencrest Academy and it's graduates, the Guardians, and then of the Elites that often lived in Zakernand. "Whether you see these allies, work beside them, or with them from a long distance, you're all going to be working for a single cause. Our world is under attack... and i cannot promise that you will come out unharmed - or worse. So i give you this last chance to decide to return to any comfort you may have instead of this perilous journey, i would not blame you for it."
Laxion and Alexis right then and their found themselves staring down. Laxion thought about what he could return to, a life in Asmodius, ofcoarse he loved his family, but he wanted to protect them, it was his duty. And Alexis, what good would she be standing at home cowering, the best she would do is protect Neutral City, and if it all came crashing down... she was sure that her parents would allow any and all, access to Radiant Bastion. Something she had yet to mention. Both raising their heads, Laxion admitted "I'm here to stay" "I am too" Alexis added, "What would we be if we decided not too, we've come so far"

Lucas lifted his head letting the almost extinguish fires detail his determined face. He suggested that they head to the pristine library in Skyfall where all records of past events are kept. Although, the instructor didn't inform them that the scrolls were in a sorry state so would the words even be eligible to read? Their task was to research as many demons as they could to pinpoint which leader is behind the recent attacks on humanity. Ruby automatically looked down and around the area as if she wasn't paying attention to what Lucas had to say. If only she knew where Horad disappeared to because it was likely that he had manuscripts on him that no one else possessed. What if the Hell leaders already got to him and tortured the old man for all he's worth? Last time she was out his house, an unexpected visitor was invited in and in the end Horad was forced to leave. She understood that he had to protect herself knowing very well she could defend herself, but there was no goodbye. At the library, hopefully there would be a book on portals so she could transport to the wreckage of his house on the cliff. Ruby may be able to salvage a couple of artifacts knowing that there is something to them that the old man kept secret.
Elites and Guardians from academies and universities from major fractions would be joining in the war. She wasn't rejected their help, on the contrary, she enforced it but how skilled were all these children? Hopefully, they wouldn't interfere with her obscene fighting because if she got out of control and they were in the way then they would be obliterated. In her mind, she noted that she need to research self-discipline at the library so no causalities by her own hand occur.
The tone changed and Lucas advised that if the journey was to dangerous he wouldn't have a problem with them turning back. Alexis had her reunited family and Laxion has family and any sort of future he due to his extensive employment background. All she had left was Horad, Claudia and Nyru, and the team. The only homes she knew were the streets and the summit which she could train with monks and the arcane wizard forever. However, the albino wasn't inclined to the luxurious life anyway so why would their master even bring this question up. "Are you kidding?" She smirked and wrapped her arms around Laxion and Alexis's arms. She was to short to reach their necks so this pose would have to do for now. "You heard them. We wouldn't leave the team for all of Magic Earth!"

Lucas Purevelion was pleasantly surprised with the team's answers, he knew it in his heart they would be honoured to join the crusade, yet the uncertain ending to their stories made him wonder if they would agree to dying. "Well then" Lucas said, with a smile across his face. It was rejuvenating to here them go ahead with the plan. It made him wonder if the fabled Scentiel would be smiling down upon them right now.
"We go to Skyfall immediately, we find the source, and we start the crusade against whatever evil it is that seeks to destroy us"
((time skip to Skyfall after some research?? we can get that done quickly, then we can start pushing back the forced of hell and charging into the now befouled land of spirits, Zakernand ))
