A little closer to the manga in terms of the maturity and themes. However, I DO NOT want a panel for panel recreation of it. So less like FMAB but more like the new TMNT. Really, really would enjoy it if they blended all the different versions of Sailor Moon into a fresh new version of its own. Probably won't happen but I wish it would.

I guess I would love to just see everyone again on, well, any sized screen. I would love for the characters that had an important part in the manga, but even if it was for a short span of time (like the ones that only appeared in a few panels) to be a little more developed.
Like Pegasus' assistants and the other animamates that were not even considered to be in the anime, like give them more of a chance, expand those characters (who knows, maybe they have fans waiting to be made for them).

I noticed nobody took the time to answer you (sorry about that), but yes, supposedly in the summer of this year, they will do a sailor moon reboot anime that is supposed to be more closely related to the manga then the original. If you look at the official website Naoko Takeuchi has (you don't even need to understand Japanese, it's in a tumbler-like form/blog form), and when you scroll down there are a whole bunch of new merch (sadly, since I have been checking, seems limited to Japan).

Right now she is basically talking about the upcoming comics (same ones, but with new covers she made in honor of the 20th anniversary). Pretty much the comics we have been getting (the reboot with all the scouts being eternal senshi), those were released in Japan 10 years ago. I should know since around 2004-2005 I had gotten the original Japanese reboot from a Japanese bookstore (by the time I had gotten them, that was getting "old" so the copies I got were a miracle in itself).
