Background Information
The Reihai Clan
The Reihai clan is a clan believed to be one of the most religious clan in the shinobi world, which worships the shinto branch of religion. Their clan is built around the beliefs of Shinto. This clan worshiped a select amount of gods in which they called the 'divine five'. This list of gods consisted of the one of the elder shinto gods, the wind god Fūjin. They believed that Fūjin supplied the world with it's oxygen, and allowed shinobi to live in the world as they do today. Another god they worshiped with a passion was Hachiman, the god of war. This god was believed to be the overseer of the world, and granted shinobi of the world the ability of combat, known as the ways of shinobi. The god Omoikane is worshiped as the god of wisdom and intelligence. They believed that this god gave them knowledge in which helps them survive in the ninja world. The dragon god, Ryūjin is the dragon god of the sea. Ryūjin or Ryōjin, also known as Ōwatatsumi, was the tutelary deity of the sea in Japanese mythology. This Japanese dragon symbolized the power of the ocean, had a large mouth, and was able to transform into a human shape. Ryūjin lived in Ryūgū-jō, his palace under the sea built out of red and white coral, from where he controlled the tides with magical tide jewels. Sea turtles, fish and jellyfish are often depicted as Ryūjin's servants. Ryuchi is one of the most worshiped gods to the Reihai clan due to it being controller of water, and the ocean(s). Inari Ōkami is the Japanese kami of foxes, of fertility, rice, tea and Sake, of agriculture and industry, of general prosperity and worldly success, and one of the principal kami of Shinto. In earlier Japan, Inari was also the patron of swordsmiths and this area is only allowed to merchants. Each of these gods have their own shrine located in the Reihai temple's lower quadrants. Entrance to this area is only given to shinobi whom are blood of the Reihai clan. The location of this temple is also unknown to the outside shinobi world due to the Reihai clan itself rarely ever revealing themselves to the shinobi world. Rumors that spread through the clan speak of a shinobi whom was once able to enlighten his heart into perfect harmony with the gods through harmony in worship, resulting in the gods gifting him the abilities of a god. Each of the five gods gave him two of their unique ability traits as a gift for his hardship to them.
Throughout the Reihai's time in the shinobi world rumors spread through their clans of a shinobi whom was awarded by the gods for his time spent worshiping them with the abilities of the gods. This shinobi was deemed as a Head monk, a demigod, or even an Enlightened Shinobi. This man demonstrated the abilities of their gods that were highly worshiped. This man's ability was given to him through his eyes. As he was 'given' the abilities his eyes began to change in appearance. His eye's iris turned into a dark blueish color and his pupil shrunk as it soon became surrounded by small rhombuses. Although this new ability was not clan based, it was told to be only achievable to those whom chose the 'enlightened path' of the Shinto religion, and even then the chances of being given this ability by the gods are slim. Eventually this man was labeled as a sage to the clansmen for his remarkable knowledge and powers. This man's name has been lost in history, but he always was known by one name 'Reihai Sage'. Through time, his dojutsu was labeled as Kami no okurusu (神のオクルス "God's Oculus" ) in the Reihai Clan. A simpler name to call this dojutsu to the outside world is the Tengoku (天国 "Heaven" ). When the Reihai Sage's time to live on this earth came to an end the clan elders decided that it would be a smart choice to secure his eyes in order to avoid any outsiders, whom discovered this ability, to steal their sage's body stealing the gift of the gods in order to achieve the abilities; the eyes were sealed inside of the base of the clan's shrine in order to preserve the eyes and their mystical abilities. The location of these eyes are only known by the head branch of the Reihai clan. After their sage's death the clan decided to make their presence known to the outside shinobi world. They were present in the hidden mist village, but as time went on that was soon their downfall. The third Mizukage led the hidden mist village into a time of bloodlust for shinobi whom possessed kekkei genkai. With fear of the unknown clan, the Mizukage decision was made final when he sent out mercenary ninja to 'discard' the Reihai clan. Though the clan was able to fight back valiantly against the mercenaries sent by the Mizukage, many of their clansmen were murdered leaving them in extreme endangered conditions. If it wasn't for the hidden mist village's fear of Kekkei Genkai, the Reihai clan would have been in the shinobi world. The eyes of their valued sage are still located in the far outskirts of Kirigakure, but is unknown to the surrounding shinobi, and majority of the remaining clansmen. Although some of the clansmen survived in the massacre, only one member of the main branch survived, at the time 8 year old Seinaru Reihai.
Younger Days in Kirigakure
Seinaru was born in Kirigakure in it's days of the reign of the Third Mizukage. In this fearful time for clans, there was hint of many powerful internal conflicts with it's members. Seinaru's clan, the Reihai clan, were forced to live in the conditions of Kirigakure while being feared for their lives. The era of the third Mizukage was bloody one for their shinobi with kekkei genkais. Because of their efficiency on the battlefield, those with kekkei genkai are fielded in times of war, but Kirigakure ninja and most other citizens of the Land of Water are suspicious of those with genetic abilities and have persecuted them in the past. This persecution is known to have reached the point where parents imprisoned children or attempted to kill their children and entire clans were wiped out. Seinaru's mom died a few years before the integration of the Reihai clan and Kirigakure due to an unknown illness. After his father decided to amalgamate with the hidden mist village the clan soon began to get sick, venomous looks from the Kirigakure shinobi. Alas, for the clan they chose the wrong era to merge; the mist in this era was known as the "bloody mist". As time went on the hostility towards the clan was more-and-more known, and this pressured Seinaru a lot. With Seinaru being a child, he was in his prime-age to begin enlisting in ninja training in order to become a shinobi. Though, even before the merge of the two, Seinari's father trained his son as he knew that as being the clan leader, that one day Seinaru would be the next clan leader due to him being next in line in the family tree. With the training given to him by his father Seinaru was able to learn the foundations of shinobi fighting in order to become a powerful shinobi in the future. When it came the day for Seinaru to finally enroll in Kirigakure's ninja academy, the unthinkable happened. After what was believed to be the Kaguya clan's wipeout, the Third Mizukage sent a squad of highly trained kirigakure mercenaries to eradicate their new visitors, due to the fear of them also having an unknown kekkei genkai that might spell bad for the village's future. On this day, Seinaru witnessed a large chunk of his clan murdered by unnecessary fear of their potential which came from the mercenaries' leader, the Mizukage. As the time drew closer-and-closer, Seinaru's father knew that they both would not be able to leave the area in one piece. Seinaru's father told him about the location of their clan's ancient objects, and told him to leave this area and to not come back for at least 10 years, where he could finally return to their clan's hidden location in which would spell his full potential to be revealed later. Seinaru left the village for a new path to a new life in the shinobi world, not looking back on what was left in the bloody massacre of his clan. This bloodshed day was kept silent by the Third Mizukage, but labeled in his archives as "Misty Vision".
Meeting Hinote Shin [3 Years after Massacre]
After about two years of roaming the ninja world on his own, while still enhancing his ninja skill Seinaru found himself in the land of powerful ninja, the hidden cloud village, also known as Kumogakure. Seinaru stayed in this area for about a year of his life. Setting up 'shop' in the hidden cloud village's far outskirts, he was able to still train while being near a village which he could go to for food, money, and other things one would need in order to survive on their own. During one of his training sessions, Seinaru felt a very unusual chakra level in the area of the grounds in which he used to train and strengthen his technique. This chakra level was not that of the normal Kumogakure shinobi that were normal to the village; this chakra signature was very high, but it felt as if it was coming from such a small shinobi. Watching this shinobi day-after-day whenever he trained, Seinaru observed this unusual cloud ninja due to his curiosity in this shinobi. After close observation, he decided that it was time he approached the shinobi. This young shinobi's name was Hinote Shin, and something about this shinobi felt different from the others. Although the approach of the two wasn't the most subtle, as the two began to converse more their understanding of one another was slowly easier for one another. Though, when they first met each other the confrontation was not a easy one. As a cloud ninja, approaching them without notification was a sign of an ambush, resulting in the two shinobi to fight one-another. Though the fight was short lived, it was obvious that both of the small stature'd shinobi were fighting as if their life depended on it, and neither would be giving an inch. Once the feud between the two ceased, they began discussing each other, and their backgrounds and such. These two shinobi became well-known acquaintances, and possibly future allies in battle if time ever called for a such thing. As the time for Seinaru to continue his journey around the ninja world, it was also time for him to say goodbye to his potential new ally, Hinote. Since this time of the two shinobi seeing one another around the age of 11 in the Kumogakure outskirts, these two have not seen one-another since, but if they were to be near one another, Seinaru would be able to identify Hinote Shin. Something about this shinobi could not get out of Seinaru's mind for some reason.
Returning to his Clan's home
Over 20 years after his clan's massacre, and his travels around the shinobi world, and a return to the mist village for a few years, Seinaru had finally returned to what used to be the Reihai clan's barracks. Still untouched by the outside shinobi world, due to it being well hidden, everything in the the barracks was as they were on the day their clan members left the village on the day of Misty Vision. Going to what used to be his home Seinaru searched through the area for what was once his home as a child. Even his home was still in it's same condition, even though it could use a few tough ups here-and-there all in all it was in nice condition. Seinaru spent hours rummaging through the barracks of his clan's headquarters until he came across a familiar sight. In the center of the area sat a large library in which in the olden days clansmen came in and out of this building, but for some reason the most common people seen in the library were Seinaru's father and other clan elders. Before Seinaru's father told him to leave Kirigakure in order to avoid the massacre that wiped out their clan, Seinaru was told of a place in their clan's barracks which would hold the key to Seinaru's future. Inside of this building, underneath the structure, held the clan's most prized possessions. His father told him that in the far back of the Library was what appeared to be a normal door, but it was not; behind this door was a stair case leading below the village like area. Though, the only way for one to get inside of this area was for a descendant of the Reihai clan's main branch to drop a dab of blood onto the door, the door/slab would react to their blood opening up, and closing behind them; the process to get out was the same. Underneath here held the prized items of the Reihai clan, these items consisted of a Khakkhara, the Reihai Sage's robe, and other relics of the clan. Though in these items there was one special thing above them all in which the Reihai clan protected with their lives; the eyes of the Reihai sage inside of a glass jar. Further down the hall which these items outlined sat a large room in which located five statues, each statue was of an anime or some kind of humanoid creature for each of their five gods they worshiped. Seinaru somehow felt as if this place was a place of strong religious power. Since this day, Seinaru has decided to stay in this area spending all of his time meditating, and praying, to the gods. The tools of the Reihai Sage were adopted by Seinaru in order for him to one day possess abilities on the scale of the Sage. Though Seinaru rarely leaves the shrine area, when he does leave he leaves for extended periods at a time, but he always comes back to his clan's hidden shrine for the gods to pray once more.

After what was believed to be the Kaguya clan's wipeout, the Third Mizukage sent a squad of highly trained kirigakure mercenaries to eradicate their new visitors, due to the fear of them also having an unknown kekkei genkai that might spell bad for the village's future. On this day, Seinaru witnessed a large chunk of his clan murdered by unnecessary fear of their potential which came from the mercenaries' leader, the Mizukage. As the time drew closer-and-closer, Seinaru's father knew that they both would not be able to leave the area in one piece. Seinaru's father told him about the location of their clan's ancient objects, and told him to leave this area and to not come back for at least 10 years, where he could finally return to their clan's hidden location in which would spell his full potential to be revealed later. Seinaru left the village for a new path to a new life in the shinobi world, not looking back on what was left in the bloody massacre of his clan. This bloodshed day was kept silent by the Third Mizukage, but labeled in his archives as "Misty Vision".
Meeting Hinote Shin [3 Years after Massacre]
After about two years of roaming the ninja world on his own, while still enhancing his ninja skill Seinaru found himself in the land of powerful ninja, the hidden cloud village, also known as Kumogakure. Seinaru stayed in this area for about a year of his life. Setting up 'shop' in the hidden cloud village's far outskirts, he was able to still train while being near a village which he could go to for food, money, and other things one would need in order to survive on their own. During one of his training sessions, Seinaru felt a very unusual chakra level in the area of the grounds in which he used to train and strengthen his technique. This chakra level was not that of the normal Kumogakure shinobi that were normal to the village; this chakra signature was very high, but it felt as if it was coming from such a small shinobi. Watching this shinobi day-after-day whenever he trained, Seinaru observed this unusual cloud ninja due to his curiosity in this shinobi. After close observation, he decided that it was time he approached the shinobi. This young shinobi's name was Hinote Shin, and something about this shinobi felt different from the others. Although the approach of the two wasn't the most subtle, as the two began to converse more their understanding of one another was slowly easier for one another. Though, when they first met each other the confrontation was not a easy one. As a cloud ninja, approaching them without notification was a sign of an ambush, resulting in the two shinobi to fight one-another. Though the fight was short lived, it was obvious that both of the small stature'd shinobi were fighting as if their life depended on it, and neither would be giving an inch. Once the feud between the two ceased, they began discussing each other, and their backgrounds and such. These two shinobi became well-known acquaintances, and possibly future allies in battle if time ever called for a such thing. As the time for Seinaru to continue his journey around the ninja world, it was also time for him to say goodbye to his potential new ally, Hinote. Since this time of the two shinobi seeing one another around the age of 11 in the Kumogakure outskirts, these two have not seen one-another since, but if they were to be near one another, Seinaru would be able to identify Hinote Shin. Something about this shinobi could not get out of Seinaru's mind for some reason.
Returning to his Clan's home
Over 20 years after his clan's massacre, and his travels around the shinobi world, and a return to the mist village for a few years, Seinaru had finally returned to what used to be the Reihai clan's barracks. Still untouched by the outside shinobi world, due to it being well hidden, everything in the the barracks was as they were on the day their clan members left the village on the day of Misty Vision. Going to what used to be his home Seinaru searched through the area for what was once his home as a child. Even his home was still in it's same condition, even though it could use a few tough ups here-and-there all in all it was in nice condition. Seinaru spent hours rummaging through the barracks of his clan's headquarters until he came across a familiar sight. In the center of the area sat a large library in which in the olden days clansmen came in and out of this building, but for some reason the most common people seen in the library were Seinaru's father and other clan elders. Before Seinaru's father told him to leave Kirigakure in order to avoid the massacre that wiped out their clan, Seinaru was told of a place in their clan's barracks which would hold the key to Seinaru's future. Inside of this building, underneath the structure, held the clan's most prized possessions. His father told him that in the far back of the Library was what appeared to be a normal door, but it was not; behind this door was a stair case leading below the village like area. Though, the only way for one to get inside of this area was for a descendant of the Reihai clan's main branch to drop a dab of blood onto the door, the door/slab would react to their blood opening up, and closing behind them; the process to get out was the same. Underneath here held the prized items of the Reihai clan, these items consisted of a Khakkhara, the Reihai Sage's robe, and other relics of the clan. Though in these items there was one special thing above them all in which the Reihai clan protected with their lives; the eyes of the Reihai sage inside of a glass jar. Further down the hall which these items outlined sat a large room in which located five statues, each statue was of an anime or some kind of humanoid creature for each of their five gods they worshiped. Seinaru somehow felt as if this place was a place of strong religious power. Since this day, Seinaru has decided to stay in this area spending all of his time meditating, and praying, to the gods. The tools of the Reihai Sage were adopted by Seinaru in order for him to one day possess abilities on the scale of the Sage. Though Seinaru rarely leaves the shrine area, when he does leave he leaves for extended periods at a time, but he always comes back to his clan's hidden shrine for the gods to pray once more.
