Titanlåvenite had been lucky in that tonight he did not need to patrol immediately post-training session with his lord. It meant he wasn't sporting new bruises piled on bruises, his lip wasn't split, and he felt energetic instead of ragged. He had started out in a seedy section of town, not worried about getting jumped by hoodlums or druggies if only on his sheer size alone, and had been progressing steadily towards more metropolitan sections of town. Then it hit him- faint but clear even from what felt like distance. The aura was like someone had turned on a lighthouse on a city block somewhere, and that aura was decidedly one of their enemies. While the lighthouse metaphor should have clued him in to steering clear of the shoals and jagged rocks that it might symbolically engender, Titan wanted to know just what even touted that sort of power that wasn't one of the Kings and was just....out and about in the city. So he traveled, leap by leap and sprint block by sprinted block, searching for the center source and with a growing wonder- how close before it felt him? As a lieutenant, would he (hopefully) be beneath notice? He didn't really want to die that night as a fault of curiosity, but it was the risk he was taking. So if I'm not going to turn back right now, I'd best accepted it.The streets slowly got more familiar- nearing to the central Metropolitan Library where he'd been once or twice because libraries had internet for the price of a library card. They had a nice selection of magazines, movies, and musical cds that needed no purchasing either.

The Templar of Earth stood on the roof of the library, as he did every night, looking out over the city he had sworn himself to protect since he was a civilian, barely aware of what the real war was, though it had been going on beyond his awareness for longer than he knew. Now it was a large part of his life, second only to his family, if he could get away with that. In fairness, it was hard to know what took up more of his time and attention these days.
He turned his head toward an aura heading his way, his senses keener than he had known them to be, even as a Knight. He thought he had reached the pinnacle of his strength then, but he had been proven wrong.
He waited, since he was sure it was just a curious Lieutenant coming to check him out, and watched the area around him until he spotted the source. His eyebrows lifted, not having seen a lieutenant quite as large before, but he supposed it took all sorts. He watched for a moment, then moved from his perch to meet the Lieutenant.
"Good evening," he said, cape swishing behind him as he came to a stop. He was not interested in being the aggressor in any situation, and thought words, more often than not, sufficed.

The hope had been to keep his distance and just see what the owner of the aura was from a far. Or, at least from as far as was viable and still see the owner. Then the aura moved a bit, and dismayingly enough had not only caught him up but had closed the distance from plainly picking him out from the city surroundings- come to think of it he stood out just about everywhere, city or no. The man was fascinating- silvered hair apparent against gold, very full and very impressive field plate. Circlet, cape, tabard, sigil all read plain and well to Titan's mind and it was difficult to stifle the instinct to just kneel. He did come to a complete, deer-in-headlights halt and didn't reply for a hot minute. Then sheepishly came to and nodded respectfully, "Hallo...It ...is a good evening. You wouldn't feel cold in the cloak, but I hope you have arming vambrace or your hands must be cold." He lifted his hands palm up- both of them and clear of any weapon. The man coming to meet him was worrisome- am I going to end up a prisoner? Do I need to explain my approach? Was I trespassing? "I've never felt an aura like yours. I mean no trouble."

Camelot arched an eyebrow slightly at the look on the Nega's face, and tried not to smile when it sank in that the other was actually in awe of him. He had been caught by surprise, and that was not unexpected, as not too many people had met a Templar before, and it was probably an intimidating experience for a Lieutenant.
It was a big gap difference in power, after all, and that was not really something Camelot could suppress or change to make it more comfortable.
He tried a simple, old school smile, instead, nodding his head in greeting and not making any particularly aggressive movements. Chuckling, he looked at his hands thoughtfully, not really noticing until having to think about it if they were cold or not.
"That's good to hear, about the no trouble thing. I don't mean you any harm, either. My name is Camelot, Templar of Earth. I'm a knight. You looked a little confused, and I imagine that's because you don't know what I am." He smiled, offering the other his hand by way of an introduction. He was a gentle soul, underneath everything, and the last thing he wanted to do was hurt someone for no reason. Hell, he didn't really like hurting people when he had a reason, though he would always defend his friends and family if they needed it.
At the end of the day, he could not forget that the Negaverse soldier he was potentially fighting could be someone he knew, and was close to, in his civilian life. Losing them was not an option, even if he didn't know it.

"Titanlåvenite ...'Titan' is shorter. " Shortening tended to be simpler for avoiding the 'å' short or long sound on those not used to pronouncing it, though he didn't really mind if it was mispronounced or not. "I've met a knight...person...once. " Though he didn't remember Troy feeling anything so overwhelming as Camelot. He remembered the basic explanation of knights and their ranks, and 'Templar' wasn't in any of that. The lieutenant spooked a moment, before taking the offered hand firmly- it was a point of normalcy that he appreciated. "You're nothing like Troy. " "Your title is from Earth? But you are not with us?"
