Owned by the not-so-nice Femlia Lizbin, Café Lizbin serves hot and cold beverages, but not ice cream unfortunately! Somehow this unfriendly Fae woman has kept the business running ever since her opposition vanished, something to do with Zakernand and some archaeological survey. She offers a relatively nice place to hang out, but doesn't give her employees a very welcome pay.

To this world you where nothing, Leah Cain Leah was happy to have found some alone time, ever since joining the academy her tutors and fellow students had been pestering her about her magic and sword play, all asking for shows or challenges. What a pain she had thought, then a rumour of a grumpy lady running a café had caught her attention, perhaps she'd get some her time to read her books. And she was most pleased with it, the woman behind the counter was most rude and more or less threw Leah her tea, Leah had smiled and walked to a booth taking out a book to read, titled On the Lesser and Greater Evils.
Leah had grown knowing they where evil but what better was to deal with evil than knowing what it was and how it acted, at least that's what she thought but never spoke. Not everyone had agreed with her comments.
She took a sip of her tea and gently placed it back down, her sword was resting beneath the table by her leg so if she needed it she had it. Until then she was quite content to wait and read. to me you where, everything

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Life at Hope Academy was something Micha'el had come to enjoy, it was an excuse to forget what happened at Asmodius City. His life started anew with his mother here several years ago and ever since he's been training at the Academy with his unique abilities and fighting style. He was a slim young man with blonde scruffy hair and blue eyes. He didn't speak to everyone and anyone at the academy, he often kept himself amongst and small group of friends within the most empty halls of Hope. Though more often than not the caretaker would find them, or try, and force them out into the courtyards.
Café Lizbin was where he came to get away and 'chill'. He knew that the fae lady was nothing close to a pushover but he learned to deal with it, because of her attitude not many other's would come and give her their money so easily. After the jungle of the bell had rung and he stepped inside, slipping the door s**t behind him, Micha'el noticed a familiar girl with brown hair and a devilishly red shirt. He remembered how others had always pestered her since she joined the academy, he knew it was her because he had always been their watching too from the distance, pitying those that didn't take interest in their own specialities. Walking closer his gave only a glance to the lady who was already giving him that familiar smug scour, if looks could kill, Micha'el wondered how painful it would be. He did notice however the kind of book that the girl was reading.
"Hey" he said, his voice was soft and generically English. With a short smile he gestured down to the chair opposite her and asked "Do you mind if i sit with you?" he paused for a second before adding "I'm Micha'el, from Hope too". He hoped she wouldn't mind, some company here was a rarity, and he also wondered if perhaps they would have something in common, or something to talk about at least. Micha'el Maues was also interested in the evils of Hell, but more so in the Angels above, unlike many he believed they existed and with good reason. With so much evil in the world, with so much evidence of their prior invasion during the Burning Invasion left on Bloodholme. Micha'el could only hope that all the good in the world was because of the angels that supposedly defended against the legends of Terror, Hatred and Destruction.

To this world you where nothing, Leah Cain Leah had been reading for a while before the newcomer entered the building, she had a feeling she knew him but after so many new faces they where becoming a blur.
The man approached the table and it came as no surprise to Leah that he asked to sit with her, she could only hope he wasn't here to pry. His greeting was quite surprising, he seemed polite so she became curious. She gestured to the chair, "Please by all means."The boy was quite cute he had blue eyes and scruffy blonde hair. He mentioned being from Hope Academy and she raised her head in acknowledgement, "Ah, yes I believe I've seen you around the academy, so what do I owe the please?" Leah gently closed her book and placed it on the table, gripping her cup in both hands she took a sip without breaking eye contact with the newcomer. to me you where, everything

She had seen him too, that's a relief. He didn't want to be sitting here for ten minutes trying to explain who he was around the academy. "Thanks" he said, Micha'el pulled out the chair as it dragged across the floor and slipped himself between the table and the chair. Placing down a few books he has for school in front of him he sat comfortably. He even gave Lizbin one last glance before he got too comfortable, she would sometimes get a bit irate over the occasional youth looking too at home. Made Micha'el wish that old man still owned the place like years ago.
"I noticed how everyone pesters you at school." he said, looking her in the eyes. They were a light brown colour, infinite in destiny. But then he smiled and said "I would apologise, but there's a reason i keep to myself" he chuckled slightly as he looked down to his books. They were boring and usual, common amongst the academy, the basics. Micha'el then said, shrugging his shoulders "I thought we could get to know each other" his tone was soft. He was a somewhat shy guy, but had his own confidence at times. "You're the only other person i see from the academy in Café Lizbin"

To this world you where nothing, Leah Cain 'there's a reason i keep to myself' Leah wasn't sure what Micha'el meant by that, she would have to be careful around him. She looked down at his books, they where nothing special, just some of the basic books from the academy. Then he said something she had expected but not said the way she expected. Everyone had been coming to her asking for her background wanting to know everything about her, this one though, he seemed sincere in the way he spoke. "Well its nice to meet you Micha'el, my name is Leah." She put her cup on the table but kept both her hands on it, she never really knew how to act in conversations. She shuffled in her chair a little before he spoke again, "I like it here, it's quiet. What bring's you here" to me you where, everything

He was hoping that conversing with Leah, as he has found her to be called, would go nicely. Her reaction, though little, let him know that perhaps she didn't quite understand what he meant, but who was he to say he was clear. Micha'el wasn't the boy to talk to everyone, and so lacked all the confidence, but he felt less intimidated by Leah. She liked it here for the same reason as he did, that was a good start. "The same reason" he said, looking around once more as he added "i'd rather put up with Lizbin than get pestered at school whilst trying to read books". Micha'el sighed almost as he placed a curled fist onto his cheek as he idly stared down at his ordinary books and said quietly "This is the only place i can read without someone trying to snoop into my personal books" he looked up at her and said "You know?" hoping she would understand. She seemed like she would.
Whilst he had been looked down at the table, he did note the "On the LEsser and Greater Evils", that was what sparked his assumption that she'd feel the same as him. He, out of coincidental interests and knowledge, knew that book wasn't read by anyone, but someone that had a genuine interest in the greater powers of the world, and how the history of them could shape the world.

To this world you where nothing, Leah Cain She was shocked, never had she thought there would be someone so like minded in the whole academy. This wasn't a ploy as many students she had come to realise avoided this place, mostly because of the owner. " Its true, I often get pestered at the academy for silly reasons. I just couldn't find any peace, then I hear rumours of a disgruntled café where the students hated going." she chuckled, " It became almost a quest to find it, besides she's not that bad anyway." Leah had walked in on the first day and ordered a drink, almost had been thrown at her, then she'd been left to finish her drink and a book. Leah moved the book to the side and looked at Micha'el, the books he'd bought where not something Leah would read yet something about him struck her as interesting. " So Micha'el, if you don't mind my asking why did you join the Academy?" It seemed like a good way to start the conversation again in a less hostile manner. She brushed her hair out of her face before sipping on her drink. to me you where, everything

She came for the very similar reasons as he did, it was a helpful plot to lighten the mood. To her comment about Lizbin now doubt, Micha'el couldn't help but grin slightly as he looked down tot he table, slightly awkwardly, and then said "Yeah... your the only other person i've ever head say that" he then lifted his head "besides me". He chuckled softly for a moment.
He then watched her push the book to a side, he then resting her arms firmly on the table. Raising his brows he thought for a second and then said "I guess i've always wanted to join, its the basics, the most rounded of the academies. But i've always wanted to be able to protect the people closest to me, you never know what might be around teh corner..." he looked at the ground beside him for a second in thought, coming back to the conversation he said, with a short tilt of his head "My brother was sort of a bad role-model, i wanna be everything he isn't" he then said with a short smile.
In the back of his mind he was thinking about his favourite book, it made him laugh to think he studied it like a bible. The Aria. Turning the conversation back to her, he asked "How about you? I uhm" he gandered at her book again quickly before adding " see you're interested in the realms of evil?". That was something else he would have in common with her, by the looks of things.

To this world you where nothing, Leah Cain 'To protect the people closest too you..' she turned her head slightly her eyes drifted off, if only I had been able to protect him, she remembered the fire. She'd told herself it wasn't her fault but what if she'd been stronger? She quickly looked back too him and smiled, " Well at least you had a role model not to be like," she chuckled. He mentioned the book she was reading and asked a similar question back, " The same reasons really, I want to get stronger and learn as much as I can," she tapped the book, " I have always believed the more you know about your foe, the easier it is to defeat them," she picked the book up slightly and turned it over in her grasp, " The problem is learning the truth from the fairy tale." She put the book back down and took a sip of her tea, tucking her short brown hair behind her ears she then said, " too much superstition not enough evidence I find" to me you where, everything

Cafe Lizbin...the one of few places that she remembered growing up in the city that hadn't changed. Not twitching of hands or owners, the outside looking the same, and when Nikee'Da walked in, it was the same within as well. It all brought a smile to her face, sure there were a few things different as far as her memory went, but nothing was the exact same for forever. Seeing the still grumpy cafe owner, made the redhead chuckled as the bell's ring at her entrance finally died down.
Nikee'Da befriending Stray and him allowing her to live him and his....brother, she had no real worries about not having a roof over her head. Though she did feel like she was taking advantage of them...it was permanent, it would do till she found money of her own and manage to find a place. Till then she could relax, and the young woman chose here today.
The few youngsters mulling about had the educated and spark of magic about them that she knew them to be students. Nikee'Da never contemplated attending the academy for obvious reasons and chose the more indirect route of learning and learned it all herself or by her mother. Didn't mean she didn't envy them a whee bit.
"Ice tea please," she said pleasantly with a smile to the grumpy, not so nice fae store owner behind the counter. Receiving her order, she was off sitting by a window of the cafe, people watching as they went by, or watching the people within the cafe with her odd cyan colored eyes.

For a moment he saw how she seemed to just... be someone else. He thought perhaps he had said something wrong, making him stare at her more intently, wondering what he could have said. But then she smiled, and she responded positively, letting his tension go he let out a small laugh with a similar small smile. He nodded his head as she explained what she was doing reading on the evils, and he agreed with what she had to say. When she picked up the book he really began to appreciate the condition of the book, it looked old, and worn, and used. But to him that meant there was so much more to learn from it, and that many others before them had done as well. When she took a sip of her tea, Micha'el raised his brows in thought and said "Yeah, there's so much we don't know..." to which she responded, not enough evidence.
He nodded and twitched the corner of his lips in thought. Again, his own book reaching into the front of his mind, and though he didn't want to seem too brash, or to reveal his secret too soon, he thought the time was right and the conversation was suiting. "I have a similar problem" he announced, pushing his books aside to make room before him on the table. He gave a small look around, suspiciously, noticing a new girl who had just come in as the bells chimed during his moment of thought. nothing to worry about... she's no student[/i[ he thought to himself. He came back to Leah and held his hands out before him, palms face down but with a gap between them and the table's surface. Moving his head forwards he said quietly "don't tell anyone, but i have my own books that i don't even let the teachers read" with a honest gaze. Leaning back there was a small, weaving gathering of light, it wasn't too bright, but lighter than a candle's flame. Suddenly the weaves of light turned to paged within seconds and neatly stacked together, where the light hardened and turned into a hardback cover for his book. "It's called the Aria" he said, looking over it's beauty. It was as large as Leah's, but it's pages had a silver painted edge, the cover was white and silver with only a glisten of gold on the imprinted features. From somewhere amongst the pages there was even a gold ribbon marking where he was last reading.

idea To this world you where nothing, Leah Cain Leah noticed as the newcomer entered the shop, she seemed out of place almost, but then again who didn't when they entered this place, her attention again was focused on Micha'el, he looked around nervously and Leah gave a curious tilt of the head as he put his hands out. It was a shock to her, a light formed not to obvious but still enough for her to look around nervously.
Then the book formed, its pages where beautiful and the binding, she had not seen a book like that before. Even the ribbon page marker was beautiful to behold, a curious shiver crawled over her as she looked at the book, "wow," she whispered, she was speechless, he called it the Aria, she glanced at her own book, they where equal in size but they where just so opposed, Hers was bound in a dark red leather, it seemed to draw in the dark where his emitted a light that cast it back.
She lent over to touch the book but stopped and pulled her hand back, "I'm sorry I've never seen a book so beautiful before," she gently reached out again, "May I touch it?" The rest of the world seemed so insignificant in that one instance and she waited patiently for a chance just to feel the Aria. to me you where, everything

Her window seat gave her a pleasant view of the outside street and the bussel outside, but it also gave a nice wide view of the cafe. She could still see the door, but also a greater portion of the room and only a portion of it at her back. Kee'Da easily felt the stares and questioning glances or looks from the students or common patrons to the cafe. Nothing that the Scarred Witch wasn't used to, her odd hair color and eyes always caused attention, though few could guess that she had the heritage of a scarred.
Taking a sip of her tea, it was good, however, not wanting to test her luck had passed on the lemon. An easy fix, Kee'Da waved hand over her table and a lemon appears in a flurry of cyan colored smokey mist that matched her eyes. With an ease that she was so used to, the young woman grew a talon on her pointer finger and sliced the lemon into wedges. Soon her tea was with it's lemon and she was sipping happily.
During her casting of her lemon, she had easily noted the flicker of slight light across the way. Finding the pair in a booth across the cafe leaned over a book by all appearances however, one made and emanating an odd light. Kee'Da had keen hearing, but in the noisy room she could not catch what the boy called it, but she was curious.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
As Leah showed her astonishment for the Aria, Micha'el couldn't help but smirk in slight embarrassment and pleasure of seeing someone else from enjoying the book just as much as he did. He saw how she glanced at her own and back at his, they're exact opposites he repeated to himself, thinking about what it must mean for the both of them. He believed books were often a representation of those that read them. As for himself, he saw himself as a protector, a guardian. What he would do to become an Elite, those that are Elitised by the Guildeam in the absence of a king for so many generations. Sir Maues....
Once again he found himself mesmerised by his own wishing imagination. Leah's hand was almost touching the book in that moment, and then she pulled it away as if she had been scolded. "Of course " he said with delight, eyes wide as he readjusted his glasses. He took another look around the room, no one here was really that much of a bother, though that new girl was still catching his eye, he didn't recognise her but she looked different to the casuals. Perhaps a mage of Merlin Academy, he pondered, since she didn't seem to old.
Attention back to the book now he let Leah have her way for the moment, he knew he could order it to vanish at his command if need be. "I learn everything from it" he said, feeling obliged to explain it, finally, to someone else other than perhaps himself " It has it's own, unique magic style, magic for combat. The Injustira Syndicate would probably contain me until they could publish hundreds of the thing if they knew..."
