Light Up The Sky - Thousand Foot Krutch
With the show going well so far and some big matches left, the crowd were taken back by the sound of a heavy guitar riff and snare drum booming out across the PA system. The lights began to flicker on and off, gradually becoming faster, and soon turning in to strobe lighting on the stage.
Walking out from back, with a green spotlight opening up on him from above, was a man sired in sports entertainment. Nuke Fusion stood on the stage, his face on show and then hidden as the lights continued to strobe away.

Walking down the ramp with a big smile on his face, Nuke slapped hands with some of the fans either side of him. At a quick pace, he soon found himself in front of the ring, as he took a second to admire it. Giving the canvas a light slap, he nodded and started to pace up the steel steps, entering the ring between the top and middle rope.

Fusion took in the atmosphere around BBW, one of the few places he had never wrestled before. There was definitely an electric vibe in the arena, and Nuke was buzzing on it.
Hands held high sweat dripping off me

The music began to die down gradually, as the arena was filled with massive cheers and 'Welcome Back' chants directed at Fusion. A big smile on his face, Nuke raised a hand as he attempted to bring them down to a simmer; seemingly, a topic was already on the tip of his tongue.
He called for a microphone and, upon being given one, he brought it to his lips.
"Damn, it feels good to be back ready for action."
Another eruption hit the ceiling, as The Prodigy closed his eyes and took in the sweet, sweet feeling of joy being back in this squared circle.
"You guys can thank my good friend and co-founder of our Hall of Fame team, The Outcasts, Mr. Shanahan! He brought me back as a surprise entrant to this tournament, with the promise of a good opponent. I'm really up for this tonight, I really can't wait, so let's not give this guy any reason to delay further on my part!"
Nuke put the microphone in his back pocket as he awaited to see his opponent, bouncing around on his toes as he did so.

Carried in the way that only the returning Sexy Strong Stylist can, there Ryuu was in the middle of the formation, microphone cord taped over his ear with the bulb of it resting beside his cheek. Full performance mode with choreographed singing, the pyrotechnics fired off in columns on either side of the staging area as he continued on with the second part of the chorus, now heading down the aisle with his dancers in tow behind him.

Inochi gake no love!
Kizu wo, doku wo, uketetatsu no sa!
Word mo, sword mo
Hanetsukero!
Oh oh oh oh~ Oh oh oh oh!~ "
Arriving at ringside after finishing the last bit of choreography with the crew, they circled and covered Sakamoto who stood tall in the center of it all. And in a quick fluid motion, the dancers left, removing the microphone pack alongside his tearaway entrance attire, leaving him in his wrestling attire, ready to go. He paused for a second and smirked, taking in the ovation for his return. With Nuke being a surprise entrant, the crowd was in for a second surprise as this would be Ryuu's first match in the circuit in almost 5 years, so questions about ringrust would likely be abound. Regardless of all that though, no one could really question that he had lost a step in his dancing and singing ability at least, or his ability to flat out entertain with his electrifying entrances.
Heading up the steps, Ryuu ducked into the ring and looked across at his opponent for the night. Only one man was going to have a successful debut in this ring tonight and Sakamoto was more than determined to outshine. Really, everything that needed to be said was already expressed by Nuke and there honestly was no need for further delay. Bouncing a bit on his corner, he rolled his arms and shoulders out some. Grabbing onto the top rope, he leaned back and pulled on it a few times just to get the feel for their elasticity, waiting for that bell to ring ..

Nuke's eyes lit up as none other than Ryuu Sakamoto came down to the ring as his opponent.
Moving the microphone from his back pocket, he passed it to the ref who moved it away from the ring.
Sakamoto was a man that Nuke had never had the pleasure of wrestling before, even though they had passed each other by backstage in many feds back in the day.
As Ryuu leaned against the ropes, Nuke paced along his side of the ring, as the electricity in the building had already begun to get everyone standing on their feet.
The bell rang out across the arena, as the fans all shouted, cheered and chanted these two on from the get-go. Fusion nodded at Sakamoto, a sign of respect from one veteran to another, something you wouldn't see too much of coming from The Prodigy.
Stepping forward, both men known for their technical prowess, Nuke offered up his left arm to start a lock-up in the center of the squared circle.

The bell signaled the beginning of this first time meeting between the two and Ryuu smirked at the sign of respect from Nuke, returning it with a nod and brief wink-salute gesture. Business was business though and thus he carefully took a few steps forward to meet with Nuke midring. The man offered his left hand and Ryuu bent at the knees, raising his right hand and interlocking fingers with the opponent. Soon afterward, Ryuu in turn offered his other hand up, wriggling his fingers a bit as he waited for Nuke to fully engage and complete the Roman knuckle lock.

[ Auto ] Finally getting into the knuckle lock with the opponent, Ryuu immediately stomped a foot into the canvas, snapping that knuckle lock downward with both arms in a swift motion. Gritting his teeth, Ryuu would try to force Nuke down to his knees simply with the raw strength he was putting behind the lock.

Nuke was caught in a hard lock, and pushed down on to his knees. Although the stronger of the two men, known for his brawling, Fusion was being caught out here. The fans cheered along, enjoying the match so far.

Sakamoto was going to continue to test Nuke's technical prowess at this point. While he had the man temporarily controlled, Ryuu was going to try and maneuver the hold just a bit, attempting to move behind Nuke in hopes to further contain him by confining him within his own arms. Essentially, if it worked, the opponent would be caught in a straight-jacket like hold with his arms forced to hug and cross in front of himself.

The ring rust was still there, somewhat, as Fusion was caught in this interesting move. His mind racing for a wayt to get out of it, Nuke immediately began to back-pedal and try to slam Ryuu in to the nearest turnbuckle.

It was actually a good response as Ryuu hadn't anticipated that escape. Sakamoto got reared back against the corner and released the hold, leaning forward a bit to catch his breath. He held onto the top rope on either side ..

Being early in the match, and hoping that he had somewhat winded his opponent, Nuke turned around to face Ryuu. Placing his arm against his neck and pushing forward, he would then attempt a hard European Uppercut.

Ryuu's head jarred backward as did the rest of his body against the corner off the impact of that European Uppercut! He held his jaw for a moment, grimacing, leaning in just a bit. It was a nice wake up call after being away for awhile.

Nuke smirked momentarily, as his strike connected. Both men were returning, but Fusion hadn't been out of the game that long, and seemed to be fresh from the go. Resisting the urge for another uppercut, The Prodigy leaned in towards Ryuu, grabbing hold of his arm and then stepping back as he attempted a hard Irish Whip in to the opposite turnbuckle.

Brought out of the corner for the irish whip, he traveled across the ring to opposing corner. Hitting the corner with a brief thump, Ryuu hung onto the top ropes once more ..

Athough he had hit the corner off the irish whip, Ryuu looked to immediately retaliate. Giving himself a split second, Ryuu came charging right out of the corner with a sudden explosion, attempting to just bulldoze a forearm shot into the temple of his opponent!
