 Dryst walked out of a bakery with a bag of donuts. There was nothing quite like warm baked goods on a cold day. The only thing better was hot chocolate to go with those pastries! With marshmallows! Maybe even whip cream! His mouth watered a bit, but he stopped himself as he made his way down the street back towards the little apartment he rented. It wasn't much but it was warm, with food in the fridge, a TV, and something resembling a bed.
He hummed a bit to himself and didn't even notice the familiar form of a certain evolved eevee until he'd practically run into her.

Nym hummed to herself as she strolled down the street, stopping once in awhile to look into shop windows or to smile at people as she passed. Her heart hadn't stopped being filled with joy since she realized what she was. A Fairy type! Really it had taken a housemate to tell her so, and it made her feel silly thinking about it. She had just thought that something had gone wrong in her evolution. She had evolved during the day, surely she should have been an Espeon. But her love for those around her had sparked her change and now she couldn't wait to show all her powers off.
Of course there was a certain dragon she had been particularly eager to find. But she hadn't wanted to seem too eager, after all for all she knew he might have just forgotten her, she wasn't all that memorable. But her mind hadn't strayed his way for a few days so it took her by complete surprise when she was nearly stumbled upon. Quick on her feet she dodged before she could run head first into him and turned to make a quick apology. "I really am quite sorry I.....Dryst?"

Dryst came to a quick halt glad who ever he'd nearly run into was light on their feet. What surprised him more was being addressed by name. He looked to both sides and then down. "Nym!" he said breaking into a huge smile. He hadn't seen the little female in weeks, and running into her was more than a pleasant surprise. "It's been awhile! How have you been?" he asked gently putting a paw on her arm and guided her to a doorway so they wouldn't be blocking traffic. "I uh...I'm happy to see you again..." he said shuffling slightly. He almost wanted to ask if she was happy to see him, but he stopped himself and let his wings flick slightly.
He wanted to ask her what seemed like a million more questions but settled on one. "So what brings you to this part of town?" he asked adjusting his bag of goodies.

Looking up she smiled shyly back, a bright blush on her face as he touched her, gladly getting out of the way. Bouncing on her feet she felt her blush grow brighter, her ribbons moving happily. "I missed you too! I haven't seen any familiar faces in a long time......not that I'd be happy to see just anyone! I mean I would but I just..." Making a noise of frustration she frowned up at him hoping he would understand but still feeling she should explain better. "I'm happy to see you too is what I'm trying to say."
Fidgeting slightly, too happy to stay still for long she hummed at his question her eyes drawn to his goodies at the movement. "I was mostly just browsing and getting out. I know a lot of people don't like this weather but I kinda like it." Leaning over him slight she eyed his bag. "And what do you have there?"

Dryst smiled and chuckled as she tried to get out what she was trying to say. "Well, I'm glad we can agree on that." he said. He wasn't exactly sure what it was about this girl, but whenever he was around her he felt all warm and fuzzy inside, like he was both strongest and the weakest person around. He idly wondered what that meant, and why she had such an effect on him, but decided it wasn't worth figuring out, just enjoying.
"It's not bad." he said nodding his head in agreement. "I think that's really the best way to put it too, it's cold but not too cold and all the other things you can say that about." His tail flicked back and forth as he watched her little ribbons flutter about, it was just adorable when they did that, it was like he was getting hypnotized or something. He looked down at his bag remembering he had it. "Oh, donuts!," he said offering for her to take a peek inside the bag. "Its a good hot chocolate and donuts kinda day. I bought all kinds, cake, glazed, jelly filled, cream filled, chocolate filled. I wasn't sure what I wanted at the time, so I just bought lots of different ones." he said unnecessarily, explaining why it was a mixed bag.
