Forest Of Giant Trees: 2 The Forest Of Giant Trees is comprised of tall trees (Mostly 80 meters tall), which have enormous trunks and large branches and can grow larger than almost all typical Titans. Due to their enormous sizes, humans can stay atop the upper branches of the trees and remain safe from Titans, which do not possess the intelligence to climb trees. These forests are excellent places to use 3D Maneuver Gear, as there are many tall tree trunks and branches to which the metal ropes can secure to, improving versatility and mobility.
There are several of these forests in the region between Wall Maria and Wall Rose and they originally functioned as tourist spots. Trainees that have not passed the 3D Maneuver Gear Test are forbidden from entering this area. Sometimes soldiers will come here to practice their abilities.

Titan TestThe Titan Test is a very important test for trainees to pass. In order to take this test the trainee must have passed the 3D Maneuver Gear Test for this test requires the use of it. With this test, trainees will use their 3DMG to move throughout the Forest of Giant Trees. They will also use their swords to slash at the fake Titan structures that have been set up. This test will test the ability to use the 3DMG as well as their ability to be able to hit a Titan. This test will also test the power of how big of a slash is made.
Taking the test is simple:*Contact the captain, vice captain, or crew and they will use one of the drill sergeants designed to this area who's profile link is located at the bottom of this post. *Once you have a trainer watching you, you will take the test. * you will post that your character begins the test by using the 3DMG and begins slashing. *Along with that post you will do the "roll Dice" action and use a 100 sided dice and you will use 20 dice. * The 20 dice will represent the 20 Titan figures that were set up for you and the 100 sided dice will be the percentage of how well you hit. You must have 10 numbers/hits that are at least 50 and up in order to pass. * Of you fail you are free to try again. Drill Sergeant(s)/Trainer(s) assigned to this area: Sasha

Cole walked out in the rather quiet forest and sat down near a tree after he had gotten a good ways in. He put a hand on his forehead and tried to get the headache from all the commotion to go away. Why did he even bother doing this again? He had lied when they asked him why he wanted to be a soldier on that stupid forum. That was right...it was brother. Cole's brother had always been the stronger, faster, overall better one. But one thing he wasn't was a soldier. Cole wasn't much of a solider either, but when they came to his home demanding at least one man came to fight he took the bullet. So no one else in his home or from his town would have to. But why would then need to know that? Cole leaned against the tree and closed his eyes, trying to relax.

Sasha sits on a low branch about 2 stories high and waits for a trainee to come by. Upon seeing a blue haired trainee the Drill Instructor uses his 3D Maneuver Hear to lower himself down to the lad. " Oh look," he says. " Are you here to take the test?" he asks.

Cole didn't bother to open his eyes, knowing it was probably another instructor. "...No...just hear to try and get my headache to go away and rethink this whole soldier idea...." He said as he yawned a little.

" You see, kid, my family and I and much more originated from this place called Russia and it was home to big strong men. Like me. Anyway, Mother Russia was full of big, strong men and that is what you are not doing. In order to be big, strong man you must go through with your choices. Like you say you become soldier and then you join military to do so, you must fulfill it or else you are weakling not even fit to be a woman from Mother Russia. Even women from this once known place were strong," explains Sasha.

Cole chuckled a little. "...Right...I'll try to be more like a Russian man. I don't suppose you've got a bottle of vodka and a dashboard camera I could borrow would you?" He said sarcastically. "...Obviously you've never heard of a true man being able to admit his mistakes...this may as well be one of them..."

" Oh ho! Young lad change tables on me!" he laughs as he pats Cole on the back. " I like you kid, not many here would joke like that. Especially with Drill Trainer. Most likely because they've encounter Instructor Stow. Ha ha ha. Son, why are you regretting the military? Do you not like the thought of becoming a soldier to save Humanity?" asks Sasha.

One that Yumi had seen earlier with the group of trainees waiting for fight Hannah. She approaches them quietly and waits patiently for him to notice her so she may take her test. She looks around at the forests and spots a medium sized storage building. Most likely where they'll give the equipment or something. He who dares...When they arrived, Jason looked around at the dummies. He remembered doing this. He looked back at Yumi. "The most important part is that you stay away from their mouths, or you'll get yelled at a lot," he told her, referring to the dummies. He was still thinking about what Yumi meant when she mentioned that she got picked on because of her background. He didn't want to pry too deeply so instead he focused on the titan test. "Seriously though, the hardest part for me at least was getting the right distance from the back of the neck. If you swing by too close to it, you'll get your sword stuck in the neck bone. Or worse, run straight into one. Then you'll REALLY get yelled at. If you're too far off in your swing, you either won't take a large enough chunk of their neck out or you'll miss completely. Still, if you're not sure whether you're too close or too far, it's best to swing wide. Rather miss it than run into it or lose your sword right? Oh yeah, and don't hold your breath when you go in for the cut. It's tempting, but you might get light-headed and fall at the worst possible moment. Just exhale with your swing. Yell if you have to. The Titan won't mind." WINS

Sasha turns his head to see two more bodies enter the area. " Ah, you are here to take the te-.......Son, you passed boot camp. Why are you here?" asks Sasha noticing the Scouting Legion jacket that Jason wears. " Never-mind that," he says waving his hands as a gesture in accordance to his words. Looking down at Yumi he pats her on the head. " You look familiar.....I can not put my tongue on it....hmmm...eh, it'll come to me some time later. Whenever you are ready. You may begin if you wish," he says before looking back at Cole. A few moments pass when Sasha looks back at Yumi. He then walks over to the storage unit and comes back with some equipment, holding it only with one arm. He sets it in front of Yumi before explaining how she puts it on and uses it. " I almost forgot to give you this," he chuckles once he's done explaining. " Good luck little girl," he says as he takes a gun from his jacket and shoots it into the air signalizing the workers in the forest to be ready for a test taker.

Mental fitness has never been her strong point. The best way for her to be taught something if a first hand approach. She doesn't care if she fails for she knows she'll have a better understanding of it and, thus, will be able to do it better a second time. Upon hearing the Drill Instructor mention that she looks like someone he knew she instantly knows that her sister had met him and most likely conversed with him. Her eyes widen slightly but quickly go back to normal as he drops the subject. Yumi looks at him as he says she may begin when she is ready since she didn't have the 3DMG. She goes to tell him when he suddenly realizes it himself and retrieves it for her. Upon getting the gear she puts it on not needing him to explain. Krista had already done so in her letters when she wrote when she was in boot camp herself. As Yumi returns from her test Sasha is the first to greet her. Sasha continues to watch the forest as if expecting something and out of the blue a gun shot is heard. Then another. Then another. Eleven gun shots are heard and Sasha begins to give a hearty good laugh. " Eleven, good job kid. You passed. First try too. Most people get 10 hits or fail. Congratulations," he says. Looking back at Cole he says. " Child, you joined army. You are in boot camp. You have your belts which means you passed the 3D Maneuver Test. You might as well keep going if you made it this far," he says trying to motivate Cole.

Cole relaxed a bit as the drill instructor laughed. They could do that? Then he had to bring up Miss Stow, which made him have to hold back a chuckle. She was...well...something... He gave a small smile to the girl who had passed, unsure of who she was but figured she deserved the praise and then nodded at the man. "...I guess you've got a point...I'm not even sure I know how to take these things off anyways..."

" Those are easy to take off," replies Sasha. " I'll go retrieve you some gear for the test," he says walking and eventually disappearing in the storage-looking building. He returns with a equipment and, just like with Yumi, explains how to put them on as well as how to use them. " Do you feel ready, boy?" he asks.
