Shiro walked around the school and came upon the Backyard of the academy, It was very spacious and had lots of shades, She had her signature toothy grin on her face, She had her hands in her crimson leather jacket's pockets and went over to a large tree with had lots of shade under it, She took her hands out of her pockets and climbed the tree, Sitting on a thick, Maybe durable branch and leaned back onto the branch, Closing her eyes and enjoying the slight breeze it had, Listening to the rustling leaves from all the trees.
She thought about the few years she had in the academy, And about her place back home, She sighed lightly, She disliked how her mother and father would manipulate her for the Kingdom, Sure, She wanted the best for it, But it's her life, She's the one who'll have to control her future, She wanted to go and break something into pieces, She did admit, She missed them...A bit. She put both her hands behind her head and laying down on the branch.

Xander always had a hard time sticking around to his royal. After all, the man was easily bored. Not to mention, he thought Shiro was flat in particular. He was a man... a man with needs who needed the luscious curves of a woman. So, instead of woman hunting, Xander took a spot under the large oak tree where Shiro was residing. He leaned against the cool bark of the tree and the coolness sent chills up his spine. The half vampire glanced up through the branches trying to spot Shiro.
The sunlight streaming through the trees shot him in the eye and he had to look away and rub his eyes for several seconds before attempting to search for her again. Her green hair helped her blend in with the trees, but Xander was eventually able to spot her. C'mon Xandy, let's scram. Shiro can take care of herself. Ash whispered into his head, trying to coax him into leaving the girl he was bound to guard.

Shiro heard footsteps coming her way and ignored it for the meantime, Wanting to melt into the calmness of the moment, And soon enough, She opened her eyes and looked down to see it was Xander, Her Knight. Seriously, She never would consider the idiot as a Knight, Even though she felt the trust when she first met him, In fact, it would be better if she just had a Knight that would stay with her for at least 5 minutes.
Shiro sat up and jumped down the branch, Standing in front of Xander, She put both hands on her hips and looked at him, Glaring a bit, With slight anger, She closed her eyes and sighed, Opening her eyes and looking at him again, Her glare staying, "b*****d, Can't you atleast stay with your Royal for 5 minutes, And not go women hunting?", She asked in her usual sarcastic and angry tone, Her eyebrows furrowing together.

Xander scoffed and pretended to relax under the shady tree. He had grown accustomed to his spot on the thin patch of grass. Putting his hands behind his head and looking up at her with a smirk on his face, Xander opened his mouth with a cocky response. "But the ladies just keep coming. I have to keep all my fans at bay. You understand don't you? Oh, wait. You don't have any fans, much less a boyfriend." Xander said, the smirk still apparent on his smug face. He needed to spice things up every once in a while to keep his life interesting.

Shiro had a vein popping from the inside on the side of her head already, This idiot made her just wanna throw him out a window, She bent down and leaned in closer to his face, "And it's not like i want a damn fanclub, I don't wanna get drowned in a crowd of fangirls.", She said angrily, She stood back straight again, "Tch.", She said angrily once again, Looking away from Xander, Obviously mad with his cocky and annoying response.
She sat down in front of him, Cross legged, With her arms still crossed on her chest, She looked at Xander a few moment's, Her piercing glare staring into his eyes, Her eyes softened up as she put back her arms on the sides, Positioning them behind her for a support as she leaned back. "Besides, Eventhough your meant to protect me, It seems like i do all the crap.", She said, Looking up at a large cloud that was covering the sun for a bit.

Xander smirked and didn't even blink or flinch when she leaned in to speak to him. Hahah. She's trying to be threatening. What a joke. Ash mocked. Xander, as usual, ignored him. It was pointless trying to hold a conversation anyways. Xander was in fact, sure that Shiro would have taken off and Xander would have the choice of either to go hunting or chase her down, but instead, she sat down across from him. She looked solemn and Xander uncrossed his arms. He didn't want to be seen doing the same thing as her, or disobeying her should a teacher come around.
She spoke, and Xander, having gotten to know her, could tell she was troubled. He didn't want to touch her; after all, his heart belonged to someone else even if things between the two were difficult as hell. But, as to show he was there for her, he reached out and put his hand on her shoulder. He let it rest there for several seconds and looked into her eyes. "Your job is to sit around and look pretty Shiro. Just let me do the work." He said and then pulled his hand away.

Shiro's eyes twitched when he rested his hand on her shoulder, Saying that it was 'her', Job to sit around and look 'pretty', She was about to slap his hand away when he just pulled it away. She plopped down on the grass backwards and was now laying on her back, 'Goddammit, I should've just stayed at the castle and been a queen, I'm meant to be one in my age already...', A small voice said to her in her head.
Shiro turned to her side with her head resting on her arm, "That doesn't make me feel any better, Xander.", She said, A bit upset, Not at how he tried to comfort her, But how she had literally nothing fun to do these days, Since there seemed to be no fun at the academy nowadays, And the past few months had been s**t when she tried to make friends, If she could say she only had one friend, It would've been Xander.

Xander sighed deeply. He had never been the kind of person to comfort others outside of family. Sure, he was a ladies man, but when it came down to them and tears, Xander was as lost as a puppy. His sister, his mom, and Faith were another story completely. He always knew what to say, but with Shiro, he had been trying to make her laugh and provide some comic relief. Make her cry Xandy, beat her down. Ash encouraged, laughing and once again used the nick name Xander's mother used for him.
"What do you want me to say then? 'Shiro, you're doing everything you need to do. You'll make a great queen.' 'Shiro, you're the strong one here. I wihs you could see that.' You know I don't sugar-coat things." Xander said, suddenly feeling extremely tired. He let the silence hang between them like a thick curtain for a few seconds before standing and offering his hand to her. "Want to go grab something to eat?" He asked with a slight smile on his face.

Shiro looked at him when he started talking again, She sat up and looked at him, Smiling slightly, "Well, What would i expect from you?," She said, "'Oh Shiro, Your so awesome, Let me give you one of my autographs and you can go brag about it to my fangirls.'", She said, In attempt to mimic Xander's voice, And laughed at her own joke.
She looked at Xander who had stood up and asked if she wanted to go grab something to eat, Holding out his hand, She took hold of his hand and stood up, "Fine then, Where to then?, You choose.", She asked, Letting go of his hand and putting her hands in her pocket's, Looking at him with a slight, Truthful smile.

Xander smiled slightly. At least she wasn't unhappy anymore. Perhaps his pathetic attempt at providing comic relief had worked after all, but he didn't count on it working a second time. "Let's just head out into town. You know, if you really do want my autograph, I could give it to you." Xander said with a smile as he began to walk towards the academy entrance to check out. He was glad he had his wallet with him so that he wouldn't have to return back to the dorm and retrieve it. Not to mention, he could only afford a snack for her. He only had about five dollars in his wallet.
Unlike her, Xander didn't carry around a giant wad of twenties. Even though his father was a lawyer, Xander didn't get jack s**t from him. Not only that, but he and his father weren't on the best terms. Xander loathed the man with a passion, but he knew he would much rather have his mother and his father be married than see her with some other man.

Shiro choked on the breath she was breathing when he said he could give her his autograph, Her cheeks turned a faint pink, "H-Hell no!, Why would i ever want that?!", She said, Looking away from him and staring at the ground as she walked beside him to the Academy Entrance, She had her wallet with her currently, Which had her usual fifty five dollars in it. Her parent's had always sent atleast sixty to fifty five dollars, There was probably around hundreds of dollars stashed in her room at the dorm.
Unlike other Royal's who were in love with their money and spent it all on rich crap, She just kept it locked up under her bed or closet, She disliked spending her money so she neglected to using it, Mostly using it for food and those normal necessities, She kept staring at the ground as they kept walking, The faint rosey pink on her cheeks fading off soon.

Xander smiled a little when he saw the red flush appear on Shiro's face. He shrugged as he continued walking. His contacted eyes roamed up the bright blue sky that stretched to no ends above them. A soft breeze rustled by them and shook a handful of leaves off the trees nearby. Xander's own hair flickered back and forth. And for once...Xander realized Ash was being silent. Thank god.
He glanced back at Shiro as he walked. "Who knows. Maybe I'll be famous one day. You'll miss your chance Sheer." Xander responded, using his awkward nickname he had given to her. If he had been caught using that in front of anyone else, he might as well have handed his life over to Ash, who was constantly waiting in the depths of his mind and soul ready to snatch away everything Xander had worked to earn.

"How many times have i told you not to call me that, Xander?", She said angrily, Looking at him with her usual glare, "Tch.", She disgustedly said, "Besides, If you do get famous...", She paused and looked up at the sky for a few moments as they walked, The soft breeze ruffled her hair a little, The clouds slowly moving along the sky.
Shiro then looked back at Xander, Toothily grinning, "If you do get famous, Wouldn't it be obvious i would be your Number One supporter?", She pointed out, Removing her hands from her pockets and putting them behind her head. Keeping her eyes locked on the path infront of her.

Xander smiled on, loving that he knew just which buttons to press to get his royal worked up and angry. Despite her infuriated expression and her click of the tongue, Xander knew that she felt no different about it. It was just a joke after all. They were both still bound to each other. Stuck you mean? Ash interrupted. Xander groaned, not realizing he did it out loud making it sound as if he was just as annoyed as Shiro. Hearing Ash laugh at his mistake, Xander cleared his throat to try and cover it up.
"Well...that's great to know." Xander continued on and shoved his hands into his jacket pockets in search of his cigarette box and his lighter. When he eventually found it, he slid a thin roll out of the box, fresh that morning. He placed the cig between his lips and brought up the lighter to light it, making sure to cup his hand around the flame so as to avoid having it being blown out by the breeze.
