Her muscles are not noticeably defined, however there are years of training that are significant only in moderate toning that is found majorly in her forearms and thighs. As a result of this, Tanka remains to be very feminine in her overall appearance. Not only are her muscles not unusually defined for a woman, but she also possesses a naturally slim body structure and general physique that adds onto this trait, presenting her character as generally easygoing despite what guise that this may or not may be, varying upon the scenario at hand. None of her features are extremely sharp nor dulled, providing Tanka with a very natural appearance that is neither over nor underdone. Wardrobe | Tanka's outfit, despite orders, hasn't changed. Tanka usually only wears the uniform for meetings, wanting to seem professional. Other than that, Tanka sports her tribes traditional wear and the officers badge. To start off, Tanka wears a few feathers under her hair, its just something they do. The next thing Tanka sports would be a collar that wraps around like those collars in dresses that accent the women's neck. The actual reason Tanka wears this is because it says she is currently unmarried. Married women in her village will not wear such things, its to show the unmarried males who is available. She also wears a tube top which covers her breasts and a sash that she can use to cover herself when need be, but its usually just hanging off her shoulders slightly. To add to the tube top, a hanging colored crystal hangs which is there to show what clan she his from. For her bottom, Tanka sports skin tight shorts, kinda like those underwear women wear called boy-shorts, on top of these shorts is a short flowing skirt that parts at one part of the leg showing off the said shorts. For shoes she sports knee high socks and slightly above the ankle shoes/boots.

Quirks Tanka is blind. Born with the defect, she was always an odd one. Being blind meant you had to make do with what you had. The other four senses. Hearing, touch, smell, taste along with something else important. Vibrations. You could say this goes with touch seeing as it's similar. This is how Tanka is able to "see". Using the vibrations in the ground and all around, Tanka can pinpoint a position of someone along with the outline. Thus, Tanka wears no shoes or perhaps she'll have the bottoms ripped out to at least look decent.
Another quirk of hers is her sheer blunt words. Tanka spares no pity or sorrow for those who come to talk to her. She will speak her mind no matter what. This could be a lethal weapon seeing as she lacks control with her mouth. Being this straight forward is like a doubled edged sword. Speaking her mind means true honesty, but sometimes honesty hurts. Chapter One Rebirth Time Frame 832 years ago The tribe called Yascha would gain a great and wonderful gift
Over 852 years ago the tribe called Yascha would gain a great and wonderful gift. During this time tribes where dominant around the wider country areas of the Rukongai. Yascha was known as head of all tribes well known for their skills with hands. From battle to making herbal medicine, they excelled with their hands. Tanka's mother was a skilled cloth maker. She wove beautifully. Tanka's father was the son of the Yascha's clan. He was a rather rambunctious but was a loyal and strong son that would lead the clan once his father passed. Her parents gained each others hearts and soon where married, shortly after Tanka would be conceived. Nine months later, a wonderful gift appeared with a defect. A fog was over Tanka's eyes, they suspected blindness. Correct on their speculation, it was now the challenge of figuring out how Tanka could live her life.
Chapter Two Rebirth Time Frame 822 "She was just here, alive, but not living." Do you really count yourself as living if you have to be constantly watched and taken care of? If Tanka could speak at the time, she would say she was just here, alive, but not living. Being blind set many challenges for a child. Tanka had to be watched at all times for a child wanted to roam around couldn't. At a young age Tanka cannot remember, she simply lived on until she could finally make a change in herself. This change came around the time of Ten. Tanka could finally talk and somewhat walk, with the aid of another. Tanka couldn't see what so ever, all she could see was the black abyss. She starved to be independent. How was she going to be independent? The night came where Tanka snuck out, which much difficulty and wandered around the area until the ground became more vicious on her feet, finding herself in a cave. Tanka wondered around in there for a while. She noticed all these enhanced senses now. She could hear, feel, smell way more than she thought she could. Something else also brought Tanka's attention. The dripping of water against the ground. The cave's roof was dripping water onto the slippery ground, but that wasn't what was important. What was that Tanka could feel it. She could feel the drop hit the ground, it sent waves in all directions. This is how Tanka learned how to see. Her family found her again a day or so later, ecstatic to tell her parents what happened.Many years passed until Taka fully mastered this new found technique.
Chapter Three Time Frame 700 Years ago "Hung Gar, as style of Kung Fu, was taught to Tanka. A style known for its strong stance and its rooting to the ground."
Finally Tanka could see. She could really live now. Many years have passed as Tanka lived on. She learned new skills all of which would be of importance to her. One of these skills that would affect her greatly was of course, how to fight. In her tribe the women where typically watched the children, fed, bathed, cooked, and made clothes for the tribe, but there was indeed a few special women that didn't quite fit the "typical" woman. Tanka was one of those non typical women, thus she was to be placed with men which would hunt and protect their tribe. However it must be brought to attention that she did gain an interest in healing. She learned from the grandmothers of the tribe how to brew up and make herbal medicine along how to heal and patch up basic wounds. She liked to kill and heal. First she learned how to make weapons, which by the way didn't really come in handy for her. Then she learned how to weld them. Being that as it may, she didn't do to well with them. The most she could handle was throwing a knife at an object. She'd usually hit the target. Then came fighting. Tanka was taught how to use a sword, a spear, and simply hand to hand combat. Of course she excelled at hand to hand rather than a sword and spear, however she wasn't that bad in those areas.Hung Gar, as style of Kung Fu, was taught to Tanka. A style known for its strong stance and its rooting to the ground. This style was perfect for Tanka and helped her learn her zanpakuto.
Chapter Four Time Frame 400 Years ago "His words where simply "Do you know who I am?""
Now seeing and fighting, Tanka was reaching an age and maturity that her zanpakuto revealed itself to her. Her age was about 500 (15) when she was training a bit in the cave at which she learned how to see. Tanka visited the place often, for obvious reasons. Kicking a wall continuously, she heard a crash. Startled by it Tanka stopped with her training and listened intently. It was odd to hear such a loud noise, despite being in a cave. It sounded as if something else was in there. Following the sound she found herself deeper in the cave and now in the presence of something she couldn't see, but knew right away it wasn't human. It was in fact, a humanoid formed rock, made of shale which stood in front of Tanka. His words where simply "Do you know who I am?" It was an odd feeling that Tanka felt. She stood in front of him, confused to his words. Somehow it seemed like she did indeed know this rock. Everything was made clear when he said his name, which she didn't hear a few times. Her zanpakuto had decided it was to reveal himself. She stood in awe of what her zanpakuto was. A long hour, or several was spent inside of the cave as her zanpakuto, named Shale, would train with her. She didn't quite learn that much to say the least, but she was getting there. Many more visits into the cave where to come before she learned fully what the one ability she would own.

Zanpakutō Name | Chikyū mage English Translation | Earth Bending Zanpakutō Element | Earth Zanpakutō Spirit | A body of humanoid formed of rock, literally. This is what describes Tanka's zanpakuto spirit. She calls him Shale. This is somewhat comical because Shale is a type of rock, which is what Shale is actually made out of. Zanpakutō Activation Statement | Shatter the ground... Zanpakutō Blade Changes | Once Chikyū masutā is released, Tanka's blade from the very tip, starts to shatter and turn into dust until everything of her sword, hilt and all have dissipated. Shikai Abilities [Chikyū mage] [Earth Bending] The ability to bend the ground at will. Tanka's one and only ability in her Shikai is being able to manipulate the ground at her own will. This means the ground is her territory. Anything about the ground can become a weapon, she can make quick sands, propel rocks, shift the ground, the list could go on. In order to do this though, she needs the motion of her limbs to direct the earth. The Chinese Kung Fu style called Hung Gar is the representation of how her movements are. 50 meters all around, like a circle is the amount of earth Tanka can control. However it's unlikely she'll lift up that much weight. She's limited to large boulders limited to about 3 thousand pounds.

Kido Background Knowledge | Tanka has never flourished in the realm of Kido except of course healing. Bakuo and Hado requires movement and precise strikes in battle which Tanka lacks with being blind. She knows how to use them but lacks the ability to actually use them unless under close range. Kaido is a different story as it's remotely under conditions where Tanka can use vibrations, sound, and touch to correctly use such spells. Kido Expertise | Skilled _________________________.. Zanjutsu | Zanjutsu is not Tanka's expertise. She lacks the ability actually use her blade well. She wields it perfectly but the outcome of it is rather average. Unable to pinpoint where her blade lay, the outcome of a swing could be a miss, or a hit. Her hands where meant for fights, not blades. However she can dodge blades well because the wielder itself gives off vibrations telling the movement of the arms, legs, and overall body movement. Hakuda | Tanka is an expert at a southern Chinese martial arts called Hung Ga. This type of martial arts is suppose to symbolize the five animals of the elements; Dragon, Snake, Tiger, Leopard, and Crane or Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, and Wood. Tanka uses the attack form of the Tiger which is a symbol of Earth. Her movements are harsh and on point with each step and kick holding much power. Hohō | Being blind makes you lack in this criteria. However Tanka doesn't lack the ability to use this sport. Tanka is weak in this subject leaving her a bit below average. Durability | Tanka knows how to take a punch and how to make one. Tanka flourishes in Hakuda and could keep it going for quite some time. She's the one to hold out till you rip out her heart. Reiryoku | Being a Lieutenant Tanka has a higher reiryoku than the others and controls it well.

SHIKAI
Shikai Ability 1: Ok, if your going to use "similar" to Earth Bending, I need to know your limits. You are limited on how much earth you can use. 50 meter radius tops. How big it can get, how far it can go, I also need a cool down post. Etc..
I would also like to point out. Your a Squadron Four member. Your blade has no healing qualities. You don't have to change this but...you are apart of Squadron Four...so yup ^^
I see no problems with his combative information. There's a nice balance with his kido section along with the rest of his shinigami abilities.
I just need to have some questions answered. As well as some things edited. Also....I would like to point out...this profiles is extremely..."toph" influence from Avatar....just pointing that out...Once you have decided and fixed certain qualities, please let me know. ^^
I fixed the Shikai, hope it clears things up and fits the need. I put an alias down, but I might change it once I think of a better one :/ Its pretty lame. In the history there was a brief mention of how she has an interest in the medical side. Mention of medical related things are to come once I talk to the Captain of the squad sense I want the Captain to be the reason why she gained such an interest in it. And I know Tanka is rather similar to Toph, I made it that way. I wanted a character similar to my favorite character. :3
