Roll a Twelve: Graveyard Field:In this particular field selection, the stadium ceiling is shut tight, covering the entire inner area of the stadium in a veil of pure darkness. The ordinary dirt field is swapped out for a field full of grave stones scattered across the lifeless soil. Near the northern end of the battle field, a single withered tree stands hunched over as though in constant mourning of those who rest for eternity here. A dense fog weaves in and out of the headstones and hinders vision. The fog itself seems damp and heavy, like the tears of the living mourning for the lost. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GHOST and DARK type attacks.

Fifi skipped into the training stadium, Callie following her. The vulpix seemed a little tense, so Fifi thought a battle would be good for her. "Oooh, look how spookie! Go on Callie, good luck!" Fifi cooed. With a sniff, Calathea hopped lightly into the field, quickly vanishing among the mist and gravestones.

Xander walked into the stadium, Kotetsu at his heels. When he saw the field he got a grin on his face and a spring in his step. Reminded him of home in Lavender Town. "Alright Kote, go get 'em." He chuckled and the Eevee darted into the fog.

Kotetsu moved through the fog with his ears at the alert as he tried to find the Vulpix. He kept his body low to the ground as he avoided tombstones so as to try and blend with the fog a bit better even if his tail tip would possibly give him away. Suddenly he thought he saw movement so the Eevee darted forward to use Bite.

The Eevee's attack missed, giving away it's position. Calathea ghosted out of a particular deep shadow, aiming her own bite at the red-flagged tail.

Kotetsu yelped when the bite connected with his tail. He turned and shot a ball of darkness at the Vulpix, pulling his tail close to his body.

The darnkess washed over Calathea, weakening her. When the darkness cleared, she had vanished again. Then, from behind Kotetsu, she melted out of the mist, sharp teeth nipping at the tender spot where hind leg and side meet. Callie used the stinging cover of darkness to slip away again. Kotetsu's elevated position gave Callie an opening. She snuck close, then leapt up, nipping at Kotetsu's underbelly.
