Moving with a determined yet cautious step, the red stallion made his way to the small river located near where he tended to roam. He'd seen other herds and ponies nearby this area, and hoped to perhaps find a companion or two he could join up with eventually. Being alone was not at all his first choice. And Burn could not deny he missed the comfort that came from having a herd surrounding you. But he'd not had one since his days as a tiny foal.
With a deep sigh, Burn approached the river and stared at his reflection quietly. It showed him the same thing as usual. A stallion that was unsure of what to do with himself. Snorting at the water, he lowered his head to take a drink and quench his thirst. The cool water felt good along his throat. But it did nothing to abate his desire for a herd.

Taking a day for herself, Safari Sunset had left her three girls with a friend of hers, Katana Koi, as she took off to enjoy a leisurely walk. The dark head of the mare did look back over her pink and yellow striped shoulder towards the direction of where her beautiful daughters were.
A sigh escaped her lips and the golden eyes turned back to looking forward. There was the sound of bubbling water from a small river up a head that she had visited a couple times when she could get a chance to. It was also a nice place to enjoy some peace.

Ears flicking back as the sound of hoof falls approaching caught his attention, Burn raised his head to watch carefully. He wasn't sure who else would be in this area, as he was not too familiar with any herds about here. So he was pleasantly surprised to see a mare come into view. And she was a very pretty mare. Who was all alone out here. This caused the stallion to frown, glancing around to see if perhaps he'd missed seeing anyone. But no, she was alone. And that just would not do!
Moving from his spot at the small river, Burn approached the mare with a small smile. "G'day to you, miss." He said in a soft voice. "I hope I am not intruding on your territory or anything of that sort." His tail swished lazily behind him as he stopped just short of the mare. He didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable if she didn't want company! ~X~Brown_Wolf~X~ Omgosh I am so sorry this took me so long to tag ;;
