Faires – Protected by the Hisoken mountain range Faires has had a relatively peaceful history. Faires is nation that relies heavily on trade and on the Airship pirates.Faires is not ruled by noble families but rich merchant families hold much power within the nation. A council of elders is also elected by the populace.
Alistra: Long ago Alistra used to be a dominant power on Emestra. However the population of Alista was suspicious of the advancement of technology. Many different types of technology were emerging on Emestra the most popular being steam but eclectic based technology and computer based technology were brought from foreign shores. With the emergence of the supernatural alistra became more unforgiving of the changing world.
Landscape: One of the largest territories on the continent of Emestra. Much is the land is dry with little rainfall. In the county exist small rivers and creeks but Alistra is surrounded by water and the ocean plays a big part in the citizen’s lives. Many support their families by fishing and some use their boats to smuggle in goods from neighboring countries. To the north lays the Atrzul mountain range and beyond that the country of copella and to the east lays Hisoken mountain range and Alistra bitter enemies the nation of Faires. To the south is the mysterious Souma desert which has the ability to negate many forms of technology. Those of supernatural blood also claim that they feel weak upon entering the territory surrounding the desert and can be violently ill if they enter desert territory.
Copella – a powerful military nation with ideas of conquest. They have a highly structured hierarchy of nobility and a celebrated military history. In terms of our past it’s best to relate Copella with colonial England. Unlike Alistra copella welcomes supernatural creatures for their keen political and military insight. While they do not have as large of a population as the surrounding nations they remain one of the biggest powers on Emestra.
