She wasn't entirely sure how to put everything into perspective anymore. It was like everything she had known was a lie and she was left standing there while everyone else was fine and dandy. There wasn't much left for her where she came from and now she was, gods only knew where. She huffed and looked around the barren scenery and frowned. Where was she? Her tail thrashed wildly behind her and she came to a stop as she let out a sigh she had been holding in. Had she truly been so naïve? How could she not have seen what had been right before her until it was too late?
In that moment she wanted to cry. When was the last time she cried? She hadn't allowed herself to process her emotions and they were now catching up to her and she didn't have anyone to vent to, no one to "lend" her a shoulder to cry on. In that moment from a mixture of exhaustion and overwhelming emotions, she collapsed in a heap, dust fluttering around her as she hit the ground and she began to cry.I Lady Kiya I I can give him an awkward female haha

Sounds of sobs filled the air, or what Yamir thought were sobs. His ears perked up a bit as he sat up and looked about. It had been a while since he heard the sad songs of tears. Not that he enjoyed them, but it did give him a chance to change those tears into something not so sad. He stood up and looked about a bit more. He was quite familiar with this area, as it was the area he had stalked the leopard he was in love with quite often. Though, he had run off again. The thought killed him inside, but he couldn't help that.
It didn't take long to spot a purple and green leopardess. Of course, he hadn't expected her to be a leopard. Naturally, he didn't expect her to be anything but someone living. Heck, for all he knew, it could have been a dude. He moved towards her cautiously. "Shhh.. It's okay, why are you crying?" he asked with a soothing voice.

Lifting her paw from her face she looked up to spot a white male moving towards her slowly and cautiously trying to comfort her. Now she was embarrassed to say the least. She didn't realize she had disturbed anyone and she sniffled and wiped her paw against her face trying to get rid of the wetness. "It's a long story. Probably one you don't want to hear." She said sullenly as she sniffled a few times and then broke into renewed tears.
Guess she was going to have to let the waterworks happen. She threw her paw over her face again, like that was going to hide her now, and just let them come. It was one of those moments that once it started, you had to let it finish on its own. "M....My.... So ca...aaalled maaate.... Leeft mu..mu..mee for MY BEST FREIND!" The last part was said more in anger and then she went back into a fit of sobs. She was a mess and there wasn't much to be done about it at the moment.

He gave her a soft caring smile and sat down close enough to her, but not close enough that'd make her feel uncomfortable. "You'd be silly to think that, Deary." He said with a wink. "It's better to get things out than let them stay in." He nodded at her. He didn't like seeing other's sad, even if he, himself, was sad on the inside. He liked helping others as much as he could.
As she continued, he felt his heart sink as she told him sorta what happened. "there there! Tell me everything!" He handed her a thick soft leaf that could help wipe her tears away. "I'll listen and see if we can help you get a smile back on your face." He said with a nod. "No lovely leopard, such as yourself, should be sad."

She tried to take comfort in his words and it just made her cry a little bit more. It was true, she had to let it out and it seemed to be that now was going to be that time no matter how much she didn't want it to be. She watched as he handed her a leaf and it made her feel a little better that he was taking the time out of his day to hear her out. She looked up at him, sniffling, and shook her head. She would try and tell it.
"We were so happy! At least I had thought so.." She sniffled a little bit. "How could they do that to me? She was supposed to be my best friend...." Maybe they deserved one another. She definitely wasn't ever going to talk to either of them ever again. She had made that abundantly clear when she had just about ripped them new hides. Boy had she been pissed, then it had turned to sadness. "I'm better off without them aren't I?" She asked him feeling a bit better after having processed her wild range of emotions.

He felt bad for the leopardess. No one should go through any type of heart, especially not by someone that was suppose to be trusted. He wanted to tell her that sometimes those closest could do the most damage, but he didn't want to hurt her more. "Of course you are, dear." He said with a smile and a purr to her question. "You seem like a strong, independent leopard." He nodded trying to find words that would help her through this.
"In fact, destiny has shown you a new door," He started, confident this would help a little bit. "see, you weren't meant to end up being around either of them. The gods have something more in store for you, and you'll find it when the time is ready." He nodded. He smiled at her trying to keep her as calm as possible. "There will be someone out there that won't hurt you."

His words calmed her and she tried to accept the good from the situation. She sniffled a couple more times and she looked up at him, her eyes still wet. "Thank you." She felt much better having let all of that out and his words of encouragement seemed to help an ever greater deal more. She realized then that she had no idea who this male was and that she should probably find out his name. "I'm Anju." She sniffled a bit more and was hoping she didn't burst out into anymore tears anytime soon.
She was sure he was right. There would be someone out there for her eventually. She definitely wasn't going to be trying to find mr. right anytime soon. At least she could gather a horde of friends, or rather new friends."It was very nice of you to stop like you did."

"What a lovely name, for a lovely leopard," he said with a smile and a wink at her. If he could get her to smile then maybe she'd get over this small tragedy faster. "You may call me Yamir, my dear." He did with a bow of his head and another smile. Harmless flirting never hurt anyone, and he was quite good at it. It always made the ladies feel better, he had noticed... Not so much the male stand point though. He felt that was a sad thing, however.
"Oh, nonsense!" He started with a paw in the air and a smile. "I'm sure you would have done the same when someone is in need of a shoulder to cry on." He said with a nod. Of course, that could be completely wrong, but she seemed like a very sweet leopard. "Plus, what else was I going to do? Leave you there?" He shook his head with a "tsk" sound coming from his mouth. "Oh no, no." He continued to shake his head. "That's just not what I would do. I always help when there's help to be had."

His flirting was a distraction tactic and it was working well. It made her get embarrassed if anything and she gave him a shy smile. "It's nice to meet you." Even if the circumstances were absolutely horrible. She listened as he said that her basically making a fool of herself wasn't any trouble at all and he had been glad to help. That made her feel much better, and he was right, she would have done the same thing in return. "You'd be surprised what others would do I guess." She was glad he hadn't left her there to wallow in her self pity.
"I'm glad you did." She finally sat up and looked around. What time of day was it? And what day was it? She wasn't even really sure how far she had been travelling or where she was going. She had just left and started walking. "Do you think we could find some water? Are you from around here?" Perhaps he could give her some guidance.

He nodded at that comment. She was very true, you couldn't really know what others were to do until they did it. Always a surprise when things turned out far better than you could ever happen to imagine. Of course, that was only a small thing in Yamir's eyes. He never worried about such things. If something went bad, he would simply just go on his way and hope that things would turn around. Of course, that didn't always happen. He chuckled. "The pleasure is all mine, Dear Anju" He said with a wink.
"Water sounds wonderful." He had seen some back a few miles away, not too far. " I saw a bit a few steps back." He said as he looked in the direction he had come. He had already had a drink, but it seemed that she was in need of it, especially after she lost a bit of water from crying. "Oh, not at all! Just traveling through." He said with a nod. "Suppose that makes it a lucky coincidence that we ran into each other."

Relieved to hear that the water wasn't too far off she felt her hopes pick up just a tad more. She was slowly starting to get into a somewhat better mood. Perhaps talking about other things would make her possibly forget the whole ordeal, at least for a little while. "I would say that it does. I feel fortunate to have ended up where I have today." She said with a small smile as she began walking in the direction he had so kindly pointed to. If he was just passing through, then he probably came from somewhere else.
"Where were you before you were here?" She was curious, perhaps it was a place she could venture to and see for herself. There had been so many things she had wished to do as a cub but had grown out of once she had gotten older. Now she wanted to do her list of things, one of which was see different places. "If you don't mind me asking that is." She didn't want to be intrusive

That probably wasn't something Yamir was expecting her to say, for one she had been betrayed by two others that she thought were close. Though, he wasn't going to bring that up, best to let her forget for a little while? He smiled and nodded as he listened to her for a moment, slowly starting in the direction that he had originally come; hoping she'd get the hint and follow him.
"I've been all over." He said with a chuckle. He couldn't really say exactly where he had or hadn't been. "I've seen deserts, snows, oceans, anywhere that my paws seem to drag me." Of course, he had stayed in the desert area more than any. "I mind not at all, dear friend!" He said with a chuckle. He wasn't really the type to keep secrets about himself. He didn't mind any questions that anyone wanted to ask him. "In truth, I am in this area following a someone I am quite interested." He said with a smirk.
Though the one he spoke of didn't find him attractive at all. In fact, probably hated him in a way. Mostly because he, himself, was quite different and probably shouldn't like what he did. He smiled at the thought. It was a sad thing, but it also made him happy in away. Strange thing, love was.

She listened quietly as he told her about all the different sights and places he had been and she was amazed at what was out there in the world. Perhaps she would one day see such sights and behold such wonders. She liked the idea of being able to explore and see things. Though she didn't think she'd want to do something like that alone. He was following someone eh? She gave him a smile and wondered if it was a good or a bad kind of follow but realized it was probably for good intentions especially if he was interested in them. "I'm sure whomever it is should consider themselves lucky you're following them" She had found him quite handy since he had saved her from herself a few minutes ago with all the crying and tears. Though she was sure she'd probably start back up again once he left.

He shook his head with a laugh. "I think he feels quite the opposite," He said with a nod. He knew that Alani hated that Yamir was about here and there always around when he thought he had lost him. But that was no matter. Yamir was just checking to see if he had changed his mind, and to make sure he was doing quite well. He'd be off again soon after, not lingering around long enough. He didn't want to lose track of him after all.
"But that's another issue in it's own." He said with a nod trying to get her not to think of it. They had come up pretty fast to the water he had mentioned before. "Here we are!" He said with a nod. Perhaps it was time to say their goodbyes? No, he wasn't sure. He wanted to make sure the leopardess was fit to be by herself before he actively took his leave.

She noticed how he said he and not she but she didn't dwell on it. Everyone had their own opinion on love and she wasn't biased, though she was hateful towards it and didn't understand why it existed if people could just change their minds like they did. She looked at him as he mention them being here and she gave a small smile of gratitude at the water. She was quite thirsty, crying and traveling with wear you out. "Thank you again for helping me... I do hope that whomever HE is will come around." She tried to give him a reassuring smile. She figured she'd get some water and find a tree to crawl up into for the remainder of the day. She approached the water and drank from it heartily, her stomach absorbing the refreshing coolness. She did suppose this should be where they parted ways? "It was a pleasure to meet you Yamir. Perhaps we shall cross paths again, hopefully under more delightful circumstances." She gave him as warm a smile she could.
