 It was an usually warm winter day and a white shape was stretched out on top of a rock enjoying the sun. The long fluffy tail, almost as long as the body itself, flicked lazily back and forth. Gold eyes fluttered open and fangs flashed as the fox-dragon yawned. With a soft sigh Valkyrie rolled over so her belly was to the sun. Not being a fan of snow she was extremely happy about the break in the weather.
A frown crossed her face as her stomach let out a growl. Rolling back over she reached for the small pouch made from leaves laying on top of a smaller rock next to the one she was laying on. Opening the pouch she reached in with her talons and pulled out a sweet winter berry. Popping in into her mouth she chewed happily. The berries were hard to come by but well worth the trouble as far as she was concerned.
She ate a few more berries before closing the pouch and placing it back on the rock. Stretching back out on her rock she closed her eyes and daydreamed about sweets.

 Ladon was very, very pleased. Not only was the weather looking up (he holds a particular loathing for any form of cold) but he'd also just discovered a rather large stash of cookies. He often went on excursions to see what tasty snacks he could rummage up, but often they were futile, especially in winter. But not this time.
He'd managed to sneak into a neighbouring Kawani village, who apparently had just taken to baking a lovely array of cookies. And so, priding himself on his wits and stealth, the mini had grabbed a breeding basket and filled it with as many of their sweet treats as he could. And now he was heading home, the delightful aroma of baked goods radiating out through the woven fronds of the basket tucked tightly into the curve of his tail.
A happy hum escaped from him as he trotted back, eyes closed and lavishing the gentle heat of the overhead sun.
