Name: Ophelia Báthory.
Nickname: Lea.
Age: Nineteen. Twenty.
Birthday: 21st March.
Sign: Ares.
Gemstone: Diamond.
Blood Type: O.
Fav. Food: Pumpkin flavored ice-cream and mango smoothies.
Hated Food: Any meat that is not fish or chicken.
Employment: Administrator and Receptionist of house for the Hair Salon: Cutting Edge.
Hobbies:
Violin --- Ophelia used to be apart of the Crystal Academy Orchestra and she also attended Violin Lessons twice a week. Ophelia does not play the Violin in any kind of professional role, though she is talented enough to do so if she so wished, instead her connection with her instrument is more symbolic to her lost connection to her Mother. She often plays it when she is sad and craving affection, since her corruption she just can not seem to enjoy it anymore, but also feels too strongly to throw it away.
Vampires --- Ophelia loves vampires, to be more specific Anne Rice Vampire Novels. She loved them before this current wave of Dark Fantasy / Teen Fiction and is somewhat protective of the heritage and old world charm that made her fall in love with them. She also writes Vampire FanFiction which borders on smut. Though that is private and nobody shall ever read / know about it.
Burlesque Dancing --- A new hobby. Ophelia was dragged to a Burlesque Class by her manager as all the girls at the salon take part in it. She is not too sure how she feels about it yet or where it will take her, however she is enjoying the experience and attends a class every Saturday morning. Strictly no boys allowed.
Virtues:
Thick Skinned --- Opehlia's mother was always very ill, which meant she needed to grow up fast. She knows the world is not always nice or fair and always prepares herself for the worst. She does not really care if people do not like her, she does not care if people gossip about her and she certainly does not care what you think about her. She rarely cries, rarely looses her temper and rarely opens up about her feelings, which leads people to think she is emotionless and cold. In truth she is just a girl who has her s**t together - It does not mean she is an empty doll, she would just you rather think she was, it makes life easier that way.
Intelligent --- Ophelia has always been an overachiever, especially when it comes to her academia studies. She seems to soak up information like a sponge and maintain it for an extraordinary amount of time. Her drive to be the best came from her need to please her parent and her Mother nurtured the girls talents to the best of her ability often pushing her further and harder than any normal parent would. It worked, Ophelia is a prodigy, but had to sacrifice her childhood and social life to be so.
Confident --- Ophelia is comfortable in her own skin, and she does not mind standing out. She is used to all the comments people shout in the street, and criticism and disapproval is something she has learned to live with, though admittedly now she is older the Goth-hate seems to have settled down among people her own age. She does not see why she needs to conform to modern day fashion and actually goes out of her way to be different. When she makes decisions she will generally stand by them, she is not ashamed of admitting she was wrong, but she takes pride in at least having the balls to make the hard calls. She is a girl who knows what she wants, says what she wants, and does what she wants without caring what other people think of her.
Flaws:
Apathetic --- Ophelia is one of the coldest people you will ever met. She seems to be uncaring and lacking in human emotion, it is her defense mechanism, but also a huge disadvantage when it comes to making friends. To put it bluntly, she makes people feel beneath her, she does not mean to do it, but she does. Ophelia had a rough childhood, and this has made her bitter. She does not want to hear about problems that she considers small or inadequate, even if they have really upset someone. Sympathy and Empathy are two foreign words to her, and she is much more likely politely dismiss your ramblings as nonsense than pat you on the back. Her voice is full of charming sarcasm, polished words said in a cruel manor.
Paranoid --- Ophelia thinks the world is out to get her. She will not go to the shops after dark in case she gets mugged, she will not talk to strangers in case they want to kidnap her and she will not be able to sleep unless every door in the house is locked and bolted; often staying up late at night in case someone tries to break in. She keeps her room clean and does everything she can to avoid illness, taking all the right vitamins and keeping up to date on the list of things the media says shortens your life. Trust is not something that comes easy to her, and often prefers to keep people at arms length. She is always ready to expect the worst in people, no matter how often they prove her wrong. She is a cynic, she world is an evil place and she is set in her ways about that.
Socially Inept --- Ophelia is a lot of work, and people can't cope with her for extended periods of time, she is just too exhausting. She is a girl who does not understand the concept of chilling out, like at all, and always has to be doing something she sees as productive. Even though she does not hang out, she often finds herself in situations where she is forced to socialize and in truth she does not handle it very well. It is almost like the filter between her brain and her mouth never fully formed. She likes to talk about interesting things, so if you are not as passionate about learning as she is, it is hard to understand what she is rambling on about. She likes to probe people and is often asking questions, some of which are rather personal and inappropriate. Then when the topic turns to video games or relationships she looks on blankly, not knowing how to join in. She does not take part in such activities and her lack of experience makes her feel awkward.
Ophelia has had a minor make-over. Since she had to change identity she no longer felt right looking at her old self in the mirror, she has not changed much but just enough for her to feel comfortable once more.
Eyes: Honey Coloured, large and unnaturally bright.
Hair: A chocolate brown, cut into a 1920's bob.
Face: Nothing has changed here! Hur hur.
Clothes: Very vintage with a dash of goth. She wears Flapper makeup. Plum lips and dark smokey eyes.
