im new to the guild, but ive been playin paint for like 5 years now, im 16, well anyways i just wanted to make a little forum on automags, and all the upgrades about them, and also if anyone needs any help with technical stuff, i will happy to answer, plz no random violence ansd argument, now enough formal stuff, come in and let loose

I own an Automag Classic w/ Level 10 bolt.
My dad is the primary shooter, so i dont know as much as him about it (the damned airsmith he is knows every gun weve ever owned though...)

The Lv X bolt was probably the best thing that has every happened to the automag. I had an automag RT and it was a notorious paintblender. I slapped on the lv x bolt and after spending about 50 bucks on air fills to get it working properly, I was a very happy camper. The only reason why I gave up on the mag was because it was as heavy as a brick.

thats it was, but i bought one of the ULE bodies, and the X-valve(YEAH I BOUGHT BOTH YEAH), i rivals all the lightwieghts, and is certainly lighter than any cocker, except for the turtle versions

Very nice. If only the ULE bodies were out two years ago, I might still be shooting a mag. BTW do any of you guys know what the situation with AGD is? I've heard that they're not making new markers anymore. When one of my friends tried to get a dealers account with them, they barely had any products available.

I like automags. And i have some questions.
1. are they accurate
2. are they fast
3. are they easy to fix if they have any problems
4. can they stand being dropped and enduring all of the wear and tear paintball brings
thanks for your answers i am asking this because my friend might buy one and he wants to know these things thanx. biggrin

Oyami I like automags. And i have some questions. 1. are they accurate 2. are they fast 3. are they easy to fix if they have any problems 4. can they stand being dropped and enduring all of the wear and tear paintball brings thanks for your answers i am asking this because my friend might buy one and he wants to know these things thanx. biggrin finally, i ve been wating for someone to ask a question, thank you anyways now to answer your friends questions, 1. yes they are really accurate, 2. for a mechanical marker, they are quite fast, but to deal with those pesky electros, i recommend buying an X-valve or R/T valve, but if u cant afford one, try the ULE trigger pull kit 3. They are probably the most simplest and easiest gun to fix and maintain, qnd they also field strip in seconds, all u have to do is remove the screw under the back of the grip frame and it comes out in one piece 4. god these things are awsome, they are just as durable, if not even more durable than tippmanns, as long as it is pressurized you can even take it under water and it will still work, since its closed bolt u dont have to worry about anything getting inside to your frind who is getting a mag, i definately recommend it, the first thing he should get as an upgrade is the venturi bolt, and he'll never break a ball

First to Oyami, no prob, always happy to help, Now t help you Scion, 1.yes they are tourney ready out of the box, unless u buy the classic version, then u have to add a barrel, and some kinda bottom line steup, otherwise they are tourney ready 2. to maximizes, depends on what u r gonna do with it, if you plan only to play in the woods id say spend like 70 bucks on a evil driver barrel, or a new all american, but if u plan to play in tourneys, id try to get an X-valve, or atleast an intelliframe 3. if u buy the classic no barrel or anything, the first obvious upgrade is a barrel, then a intelliframe, maybe later a X-valve, not the Rt valve, because it is a little on the heavy side, and as optional upgrades i recommened the ULE body, only to lessen the weight, and to give you more barrel choices, because it then switches from mag threading to cocker threading, but tose are my choices, hope u have as much fun customizing your mad as i did
