Rather, when she married, she was able to enjoy an even more lavish lifestyle than the one her uppity parents provided for her. But that wasn't why she did it. It was her mother who convinced her that it was the right thing to do - the appropriate next step in her young life. Little did her mother know, they would only be married for three short years before she would attain widowhood. The couple had no children - unusual for how long they were united.
She dresses in full mourning wear, and will do so for the next two years. Olive is a headstrong young woman living under the guise of a demure and well-mannered lady. But she has dark secrets - ones that could ruin her reputation forever. That is, more than the death of her husband ever could...
→ Jameson was born to a poor mother and is the son of William van de Wille. The only people that ever knew were his mother and himself as he was seen as a problem child due to his existence being the result of his fathers affair with a poor young maiden. He was left alone to care for his now sick mother and after to long he was alone, struggling to make his living. He was employed by his own father who had no idea who he really was. While he felt no remorse after his father's death this is only because he had lost his source of employment.
Jameson is young strong and clever. He tends to combine his muscle with his wit to manipulate others into doing what he wants. He does some horrid and dark acts but this is only to keep himself alive.

Adrian was born in Kolovesi, Finland, to a wealthy family, the youngest of three. His father was a highly-celebrated general who was declared MIA in the Second Afghan War. His mother was the daughter of a duke. In 1890, she brought her children to London, where the eldest pursued a career in government, the second became a successful surgeon, and Adrian decided to become a detective, rising quickly through the ranks of Scotland Yard.
After attending college at Cambridge and receiving several degrees and majors, he joined the British navy and traveled the seas before returning at age 20 to pursue his career in law enforcement after both his cousin and best friend were killed by the serial killer named "Jack the Ripper." He dedicated his entire career to tracking down this elusive killer.
He is skilled in horseback riding, double pistoled gunfighting, as well as swordfighting. A brilliant, yet arrogant, aloof, and cold man, he prefers logic to anything else and insists that emotions will only interfere and get in the way of the investigation.

With her father always being gone, and her mother taking care of her younger siblings, it left LaSona alone most of the time. She taught herself piano and found her love in books. Dancing and roaming strange places is how she lives. She doesn't have the money, or the fame, she is just that girl that people forget.
LaSona helps her mother in many ways, one being money. Doing the one thing that she is actually good at, she plays for a male of riches. But, one day, she found out that her job was no longer available, finding her boss dead was not the kind of thing that made her day "great" because of the mans death, she has to find a new job, and a new way to pay the bills.
