Cymbeline hissed delightedly and dashed through the portal with little regard for personal safety. Was it time again to meet that foul watery beast? Oh but she wanted to stomp it once more... Hear it shriek under her heels... Beautiful!

She was only too happy to tag along for the second run, after all, Shaheen seemed to share a similar... zest for life, and death, and... Insanity, as herself. Destruction... yes. It was in her blood to cause havoc, and if prancing merrily through portals left and right was causing havoc, it suited the Heir fine.

"Mengyao please, where is your cheer? Should we prove fortuitous our collective strength will be bolstered."
She shoved him as she walked by, confident as ever.

There was much harmony and bliss in conquest.
So much that it was painful.

"We might even run into a hunter and be able to skin them alive. Look at the positives."

"You are today, soldier! You're not in Kans---errr--The gold kingdom anymore!" She gave Meng her biggest s**t eating grin as she spoke to him, though Lan and Lifen both made excellent points as well. Really, though, Shaheen was never one to pass up the opportunity to be a complete obnoxious butt head, especially towards one who seemed incredibly uptight all the time.

Once everyone had gathered on the other side of the portal, there was very little to discuss as they'd all already done it before. They were surrounded by water, and the only way out was to swim.

And they all knew what happened once they got into the water.

Shaheen could hardly wait.

"Come, Cym. We wouldn't want to make our gruesome host of the deep wait for us." She gave the famine heir a cheerful grin, more at ease with her now then she had been previously. "We have an underwater party to attend!"

And with that, Shaheen was diving into the water, despite the fact that she absolutely hated water of any kind as well as swimming, but knowing what fun awaited them was enough reason to look forward to it anyways.

It wasn't long before she was confronted by a giant, mossy, slimy, disgusting looking creature, one that's mouth yawned open wide, like a cavern unto itself.

It was the dreaded giant underwater dwelling frog.

ROUND ONE BEGIN

"There is," said Mengyao delicately, as something monstrous, dripping, and disgusting appeared in front of them, its enormous mouth gaping open, "no such thing as cheer when one is faced with such an abomination. Really, Lan, you have no sense of decorum, do you?"

Lifen was given a wry look, Shaheen a mixed one of disgust and exasperated amusement in spite of himself. "Just because this is not the Kingdom of Gold does not mean that I am not a king in more ways than one," Mengyao answered her primly, as he held out a hand. His bow shimmered into being, and he lifted it, fingers stretching across the slender wood frame.

"Really, how unpleasant."

She was not the best swimmer, but she was managing, with water logged wings dragging behind. Her sword was summoned as the enemy loomed up in front of her, and she was quickly using her Fear to make it glow bright, ready to take the giant, disgusting mass of slimy frog flesh out in one swift blow.

But then Cym had the courtesy to grab a hold of her ankles and yank, effectively submerging the war chieftain beneath the water so that water got into her mouth and shot up her nose, and when she surfaced again she spluttered and gagged.

Water was awful.

Plan B, then. Taking the sword from the sheath at her back, she stabbed at the creature from an area somewhere above Cym's blocking wings, poking the frog straight in the nose.

This one was quite different then what they had fought during Lan's quest, though in a much less intimidating way. Shoving Cym to the side (fair was fair, after all since the heir had tried to drown her earlier), she swung at it again with a sweeping, downward stroke.
