Chetan had decided it was high time to be social with all the clans grouped together for the festival. as a cub he had enjoyed running around and causing mischief during this time but as a adult he had outgrown his hyper active ways so he planned to just enjoy himself. it wasn't long through before his companion was biting his ear with high annoyance. "HEY Uzulu what is that about."
Uzulu ruffled his feathers and kept nested in Chetan's mane even though he was almost uprooted with a quick paw swip from Chetan. "because you said you would be social and here you are bumming about." Uzulu looked around to see if there happened to be any ladies he could force his friend into talking too as he felt that Chetan needed a lady friend."oh whatever Uzulu i am not bumming about doing nothing." Chetan gave a huff as he was highly tempted right now just to shake his companion out of his mane but decided not to be a jurk. and for now was going to stay put to annoy his friend but it seemed things were not going to go in his favor.
"hey look over there go talk to that cute girl" if Uzulu could smirk oh how he would of as he tugged at his friend's mane and made sure to point out the female."if you don't get moving now i'll fly right over there!" and as he said that he went straight over to the female.Ugitsiha had been minding her own business when suddenly some bright red bird landed on her. "oh hello there." right now she probably looked cross eyed as she was attempting to look at the bird who perched on her head. there was a bit of a smile on her face as she never had met such a friendly bird. she didn't have long to enjoy herself trying to look at the pretty bird as Chetan was quick to follow right behind Uzulu who had distracted her fully.Chetan gave a fake cough to gain her attention before he spoke as he didn't wanna spook her since she seemed so into Uzulu. "sorry for my companion there he obviously needs to remember his manners." giving a quick glare at his companion, he turned his attention back to Ugitsiha and hoped she didn't notice his glare. " i hope he isn't bothering you at all." Chetan really would feel bad if Uzulu had caused her any problems or ruined her enjoyment of the festival." oh ...... so this beautiful bird is your companion? that is really neat!" it never took much to spark Ugitsiha's interest and a bright red pretty bird was totally something that would gain her interest rather quickly. " they are not a bother at all. i was actually rather bored at the moment til you both came on over." it was clear she was not bothered at all and actually was quite happy to have someone to chit chat too that wasn't from her clan or family. it amused her greatly though when the male glared at his bird companion. " i am Ugitsiha Ligaiisei of the shadow clan. do you mind if i ask your name?"" I am Chetanluta Kududushi of the earth clan. it is a pleasure to meet you Ugitsuha." he was actually happy to be chatting with someone from another clan since he didn't get to do that very often. " i am glad Uzulu did not ruin your fun of the festival." sitting down so that he could enjoy the conversation, he kept an eye on his companion who decided to be pretty quite. " have you enjoyed yourself so far?"

" and it is a pleasure to meet you as well Chetanluta." Ugitsiha Ligaiisei gave a giggle at Chetan as he seem so concerned that his bird Uzulu had bothered her at all what so ever. " don't worry so much, your friend here is wonderful and i am glad they decided to come perch on my head." in fact she actually was quite happy that Uzulu had caused Chetan to come over and bug her or she never would of gotten to gain a new friend or so she decided he was her new friend. " yes i have actually and i was going to go meet up with my family here soon." she then gave him a look that said dont worry, knowing he probably would feel bad for taking her time away from her family. "now don't worry my family can wait a little for me to meet up with them. im sure they wont mind at all."
Chetan gave a wrinkle of his muzzle when she told him not to worry. but he couldn't help it as he did feel bad he was keeping her from her family. " i don't worry that much......." some how she managed to make him feel a bit childish and he had not felt childish in forever. " and as long as you think they wont mind. i really wouldn't want to keep you from your family but it seems you have your mind made up already." he could only shake his head with a chuckle as it seemed she was pretty strong willed and once she had her mind made up there was no changing it.
she just shook her head with a laugh and was finding Chetan quite adorable. for now though she decided she would change the subject of her needing to meet her family soon to actually having a adult conversation with a rather handsome male. " so were you planning to take part of the sky ceremony at all? i thought about joining it myself but decided maybe not since i never was great are winning fights."
" i never thought of joining it really." though he left out the fast he totally would have if he had a girl he was try to impress and show off a bit to. which he didn't at the moment at all and actually he had yet to even make an attempt at gaining a mate during the few festivals he had been to as an adult. but that was all going to change since Uzulu was making it a mission to get him a mate. " maybe next year i will." shrugging he tried to play it cool but his companion Uzulu knew better and dive bombed his head. " oh knock it off Uzulu." grumbling, he then gave a sigh as his companion stood on his head and grabbed his ear.
Ugitsiha would of responded but she was too busy laughing when Uzulu went and started to beat on Chetan. after a few moments, she attempted to stop her laughter. " i am sorry i can't help but laugh at the fact Uzulu seems to be beating you up." she found it charming that his friend Uzulu seemed to be telling him off for whatever reason. little did she know that Uzulu was trying to set the two up even though they had only just met one another.
" it's ok. Uzulu is just being a jerk right now to me." grumbling he felt like Uzulu was making a fool of him currently and he really didn't like it. even if he knew that Uzulu was just being himself and trying to get him to be more social and get a mate. though Chetan himself wanted to do that in his own time, it was clear Uzulu was not going to let that happen.
"you two have a interesting friendship if i must say." she giggled and started to wish she had a friend just like Chetan did. Ugitsiha honestly thought it would be awesome to have such a good friend as she didn't really have any. but for now she knew she couldn't hang around the adorable duo that was Chetan and Uzulu as she did have to get to her family like she promised. " i hope to see you around the festival before it ends. i would hate it if we didn't get to talk again." giving Chetan a poke on the nose with her paw she then went off to find her family.
Chetan was left speechless as he watched Ugitsiha leave after poking him. that was unless his ear was pulled on very hard after Ugitsiha was long gone. " OWWWWWWWW stop it." growing, he shook his mane to force Uzulu to get off him. " you really need to stop that ear pulling."
Uzulu would be smirking if he could as he landed lightly on the ground infront of Chetan. " oh whatever Chetan. you better attempt to see her again and try to woo her. she seems like a lovely girl who would be good for you." rufflign his feathers, he gave Chetan a look. " i'll be sorely disapointed if you don't."
" whatever. i am an adult who can choose what they will do." Chetan grumbled as he walked off to possibly join his family or just enjoy the festival. though he started to wonder if Uzulu was right in getting him to find a mate as he had been a adult for a while now and probably should decide to settle down eventually. giving a sigh, he hated how Uzulu had gotten in his head now. all the while Uzulu had made sure to follow after him and ride on his back while plotting how to get his friend to see Ugitsiha again.
