ʈ he experiment center is where Squadron Twelve members conduct, as hinted, experiments. There are a total of ten box-shaped rooms positioned around the southern section of the Research & Development dome. The outside of the rooms house several sets of keyboards and window-like screens so the outside viewer can look in on the actions inside and record data.
Inside, there are several different types of setups. Half of the rooms are reserved for live-specimen examination. These rooms are sealed shut from the inside; inside, a live specimen will be observed and recorded for data work. The screens can be used to present images to the specimen or allow communication with the tester.
The other rooms are reserved for direct contact experimentation. Just like Squadron Four, several members of Squadron Twelve are authorized to perform surgery on live or dead specimen. Unlike Squadron Four though, these surgeries are not concerned with saving the life of a living being.
