ʈ he Western Gate of Seireitei is one of the Four Great Gates of Seireitei. Built by Squadron Thirteen, this gate guards the Western-most sector of Seireitei. Some distance outside of this gate is "Suicide City". This gate, smaller than the other three, is considered the most elegant gate. On the exterior, there are several gardens, trees, and ponds built into the ground for decoration. Just like the other gates, this gate is protected by a Gate Guardian. The Guardian resides just opposite of the Gate near wooded area. Their role is to only lift the gate if authorized to or they are defeated in a battle by the entering party. (the latter rule is more of a moral standpoint and has never occured at this gate).
