I will soon be building a cat tower for my cats.
Any interest in seeing step by step photos and instructions?
It will have two towers with four cat boxes two that have cat beds in them and two that lead up into the towers. as well as a kitty cat bridge to connect the two towers.
I'm looking into what kind of carpet (remnants or new) to use on it. seeing as the boys first owners declawed them I am not as worried about it falling apart or fraying quickly.
I have a few dangly cat toys to be built into the towers as well as some cat n** pouches that will be hanging for them to play with.

You most definitely should post photos and instructions as you go. Saphi's next tree, when I have a bigger house, will probably be a homemade one so it can be how I want it
