The club was closed but Shrill X was in the spot her father usually occupied, testing out the microphone and her DJ skills. Her voice boomed throughout the near empty room. "Helllooooo! Let’s get ready to paaaaaarty!" The filly grinned. Yep, she sounded great. "Daaaad, hey daaaaad, I have an announcement to make! Are you listening?" It would be impossible to not listen with how loud she was.

Draft suppressed a yawn as he looked out over his empty club. Usually the large stallion would be asleep right now, resting up for another eardrum destroying night. But his promise to his musically inclined daughter had him up and awake during the daylight hours.
"I hear ya, dupstep," he chuckled. That had been her nickname for awhile, her's being the only one of his children's not related directly to their name. He walked slowly onto the dance floor, looking up at her in the DJ booth, "What's the scoop DJ?"

It was important that Draft Punk be the first one to know what future she had decided on. It had taken her a few days of thinking. Motor car driver, daredevil, a DJ like her dad, electronic music artist; there were so many options and she had no doubt she'd do all of them perfectly, but only one was the right one. "Being a DJ is pretty cool," she boomed, "but I think more people should hear my voice and music. I'm too awesome for just one room."

Draft listened to his little girl, the apple of his eye in the electronic scene. She had taken to his music more than any of her siblings, but he wanted her to find her own path as well. He was vastly different from his rocking father and refined mother, but they both had encouraged him. It seemed Shrill had figured out her purpose in life.
"Well I can't argue with that, Shrill. You are quite awesome, almost as awesome as me," he grinned at her.

"When I'm big we'll have a Battle of the Awesome. I won't take it easy you just 'cause you're my dad." Shrill X grinned. She wasn't at all shy about admitting her favourite father was Draft. Lullaby was always telling her off or what to do, and he was so boring. "I'm gonna be on the radio! I'll play my music and make sure everyone can hear me!" There, she had said it all, announced it to the world. She waited for her dad's response, trying not to look nervous about whether he approved or not.

"Well you better bring your A Game, baby. Cause this stallion don't play when it comes to being awesome," he grinned at her. Draft wasn't much for discipline, he knew that. He felt bad sometimes having his quieter love be the one to carry out structure but it just wasn't in his nature.
At her revelation he stood there, face unchanged. Finally he walked up to the booth, pushed the microphone away and looked down at her.
"Shrill X Pickle-Puff," he said using her full name. His face still a little stern looking before it cracked a grin and he hugged her, "That's fantastic baby girl. I can't wait to hear your tunes. You will be a great Radio Star!"

Shrill X was worried. Why wasn't he saying anything? Oh wait, now he was, and he was using her full name. Was her idea really that bad? She was beginning to look rebellious when Draft broke out into a smile. "Y-yeah," she said, hugging him back with all her strength, "yeah, I totally will be! Love ya dad."
