The ginger had never been able to keep herself from slipping away from her flat and letting the familiar rush of power wash over her. Facing death not once, but twice had left her perpetually on edge. Her nerves were fried, fragile and frayed and she was prone to irrational decisions and outbursts but she still pushed herself to go out into the city as Super Sailor Denebola. She had a duty to the people of the city, to protect them or so she continually told herself.
She was brave and confident. She was fierce. Fiercer than a lion and as bright as her blazing star (and how brightly it did shine). She would not let fear hold her back, because that was not who she was, and so she pushed herself out the door and into an alley streets away. "Denebola Star Power, Make Up!" She had murmured, letting her warm winter coat be swapped for a fuku that hardly provided enough warmth despite covering most of her skin.
The cold nipped at her skin and she was grateful for the gloves and long stockings her uniform provided her with. She tilted her head back, exhaling a white cloud of air, and fixated her mismatched eyes on clear night sky. As she peered up at the stars she wondered, briefly, if she could pick hers out of all the others. She shook her head to clear it of thoughts and brought her hands to her lips. She blew on them twice before rubbing them together, trying to warm up before turning tail and exiting the alley.
She considered traveling via rooftops, but opted to remain on the streets, comforted by the soft glow of the streetlamps. The light they emitted offered her slight comfort in the dark of the winter night, though she worried about the shadows they cast. Danger lurked in the shadows.
She pulled herself together tightly, hands tucked beneath her arms and moved at a brisk pace. Her two-colored eyes darted back and forth as she waited for the familiar p***k of chaotic energy to flare to life, but as she moved it had yet to appear. Soon she found herself in the northeast district of DC, by the bakery she used to patrol near everyday when she first henshined up.
It was nostalgic as an onslaught of memories hit her. Training with Taranis, meeting Arsinoe, deciding that they would be partners, the space ambush and the disappearance of her partner and Team Lightspeed crumbling with it. When she pulled herself away from the memories, she found that she stood before the bakery's window with her hand pressed against the glass and felt a crushing weight of sadness against her chest.
She felt lost and vulnerable.

The last few weeks had not been kind for Super Sailor Vespa in the least and it was inevitable that someone would have to pay the price for that. Not only was he being waylaid in his civilian life with the departure of his only friend and less than stellar grades, but his powered life had been taking potshots at him from behind, just to rub more dirt in his face. Recent encounters with the enemy had been rather hair-raising and the idea of his life being threatened at every turn was starting to wear on his nerves, and yet, there were also other things that were bothering him, fears from his own allies that started to gnaw on his conscious and making the effort to transform and perform his duties a hassle.
His mind kept falling back to the most recent ambush, where not only did his fumble and then was scolded for taking a hit for a superior officer, but the amount of blood he had seen on General Mica's spear made it very clear that there was a death that evening. There might have been two deaths, too, had that other senshi not shown up, and now more than ever was the Wasp senshi confused… had it not been for that White Moon Senshi, who knew what kind of state Vespa would have been in when Mica left?
It was distressing to think about, but also frustrating to know that he was in debt to the enemy, and should any of superior officers were to find out, then he'd be in serious trouble, no doubt. So, it was simply a matter of keeping it under wraps and refusing to give it away… the less they knew of the exchange between the two of them, the better his life would be. Or, so he thought.
"Just don't think about it," Vespa mumbled to himself, as he hopped from one rooftop to the other, scouting for either a good spot to collect energy as well as keeping an eye out for the enemy. "Pretend it never happened. Yeah! It never happened, that's it…"
It wasn't too long before his senses picked up the faintest tingling of an Order aura, and immediately, he went to work. Perhaps this was his way of making up for the disgrace of allowing that other White Mooner to tend to his wounds? He chased after the aura and found the senshi that stood outside of the bakery, and without any thought or care to stealth, he screamed loudly, as he ran towards her, fists curled and ready for a fight, even when his boots slipped on the icy pavement and sent him tumbling forward, "Get out of heeeaaaaagggggghhhhh!"

Denebola registered the p***k of exploding chaotic energy mere moments before he shouted at her. She could feel her heartbeat intensify, thudding so rapidly against her ribcage she worried it would burst free, and her body tensed as she whirled on her heels to face her assailant. Instinctively her arms raised, so she could block as needed only to find it unnecessary.
Still her mismatched eyes widened in surprise as the corrupt came flailing at her. She moved back, pressing up against the glass doors. Upon realizing the predicament she threw herself in, by effectively backing herself against the wall, she slid to the right then threw herself forward. She did a tuck-and-roll to get out of the clumsy senshi's way, springing back up in one fluid motion and she turned to him.
Her eyebrows knitted together and her lips were pursed even as her hands found her hips. "Excuuuse me?!" She squealed, voice resonating at a higher pitch due to her instinctive panic. It wasn't the nega she expected, or one who seemed threatening but goddamn it her heart would not stop pounding. "I was here first!" She growled indignantly. "If anyone should be getting out of here, then it should be you!"
Irritation had gotten the better of her and she found herself stomping forward, hand and finger extended with the intent of jabbing her assailant. "Who do you think you are?"
Acting like she wasn't afraid was just a cover, inwardly she was shaking.

He had hoped that his clumsiness would at least help in taking out his opponent, but he was never one for either grace or luck as she had managed to get out of the way of his fumble. By the time he came to an abrupt stop, he was dizzy, ashamed, and now, being yelled at, and that certainly didn't help the situation in the very least!
The Wasp senshi sneered, trying to push himself to his feet and admittedly too dizzy from the tumbling to straighten himself up and no doubt appeared just as pathetic looking as he felt. that he couldn't even stand before his enemy. "No you weren't… this planet's not for you, so the Negaverse was here first! Don't… you try hiding behind your lies, senshi! You can't fool me…"
It was no use. He was just too dizzy and he probably twisted his ankle as there was a pain in his leg that kept forcing him down, and with a growl, he lowered himself to the ground and stayed in a kneeling position, not at all submitting to the other senshi yet unable to strike against her for the moment. When she dared ask who he was, he gave a spat before answering. "I'm Sailor Vespa, of the Negaverse… and I'm going to help them save this planet from you and the rest of your kind…"

The anger that had bubbled up within her, spreading from her stomach to her fingertips, had all but dissipated as she watched him crumple to the ground. Her mouth hung open from an unspoken snarky remark and her expression softened. Her shoulders sagged from a mixture of pity and relief, he was hardly a threat. "How can you say that this planet is not for me? I was born here," she argued, hands finding her hips as she stood over him. "If I am not meant to be here, then neither are you," she said pointedly, glaring.
She no longer felt pity for him, though his ankle did look painful, and her irritation was growing again.
"You may be part of the Negaverse but you are still a senshi." She shifted her weight to her left foot and folded over her chest. It was more obvious to her now that he was kneeling before her. Her initial panic at the sudden burst of chaotic energy had led her to make a mistake. His declaration made her snort and roll her eyes. She was getting real sick of being told she didn't belong and it seemed ironic that a senshi, though corrupt, was spouting this at her.
"I am Sailor Denebola," she told him. "And you're spouting a bunch of nonsense." Denebola was prideful if nothing else. "Who are you, or the negaverse for that matter, to decide if I belong here or not? I belong to Earth as much as I belong to my star!"

The chance to take to the fight had long since passed, and even Vespa knew that. He could have gotten back to his feet and tried to continue his assault, but given the slipperiness of the pavement and his opponent's saucy reply, what was the point? Even if he summoned his energy wasps, all she needed to do was step back and he'd be helping himself to a dose of bitter anguish, courtesy of himself! Nothing killed the will to fight like a mouthful of low self esteem…
"I say that because it's true. Maybe your physical body or something was born here, but the senshi… stuff… in you, doesn't belong here, and that's what I'm talking about," Vespa said, firing back, even as he decided to stay on the ground, nursing his twisted ankle until he could muster the strength to stand again. All he had was words and what the Negaverse told him to fire back with now. "Please, stop reminding me that I'm a senshi… I don't want to be like you and your kind in anyway and if it's not bad enough I got the Negaverse reminding me of this, I don't need it from you…"
Yes, a bitter reminder that, even though he was atoning for his sins, that he'd never be welcomed here as an equal. Yes, that was absolutely what his already crippled ego needed right now. He tried not to be too angry with her for her retaliations- after all, she seemed oblivious to the situation enough as it is, and in a way, he almost pitied her. He listened to her words simply because he had no choice but to hear her, and he rolled his eyes, not caring if it was seen behind his visor as he shook his head. "Yes, we're both senshi, but I'm different, Denebola. I acknowledge my sins to this world and seek to better myself by atoning for them, whereas you continue to bumble around in the dark, pretending not to know… whatever atrocities, you may have committed, or committing…"
He rubbed his ankle, wincing against the pain. There were times he almost pitied the White Moon senshi, more than he pitied himself, if that was even remotely possible. "We're the ones trying to save the planet from the Moon Queen enslaving the people of Earth again."

"Is the Negaverse just full of ignorance?" Denebola growled, exasperated. She felt as though she'd had this argument too many times and it was wearing her nerves thin. "What sins am I guilty of? You treat us like we're space invaders but I have a hard time believing I'm an invader because that would require me to have not been born of earth but I am. Whether you like, or acknowledge it." She moved forward, leaning over him, hair cascading over the side of her face as she did so. "I save lives, where as you and your allies take them," she snarled, unfolding her arms so she could point at him.
"I have risked my life countless times to save someone else," she rambled. She knew he probably didn't care what she had to say but she was going to say it anyway. That was what he got for insulting her. "I have watched agents from your faction rip starseeds out of civilian chests and eat them, just for fun and yet you're telling me that I am the one who needs to atone for my sins?"
At this point her arms were splayed out to the sides, fingers curled into fists and she visibly shook with anger. "I don't know who you've been talking to, but I have never, not once, heard ANY of my fellow senshi talk about enslaving Earth. If anything, it seems like the negaverse is trying to brainwash the population!"
Denebola was definitely an opinionated person and she was not afraid to show it.

This was all one big mistake, one that Vespa had only himself to blame for walking into. He had no idea that the one he was attacking was basically like kicking a hornet's nest, and as delicious as it should have been that the Senshi of Wasps was at the mercy of another insect senshi's ire, the poetic justice of the situation was all but lost on him. With his bummed ankle, he had no choice but to listen to her, and the more he heard, the less he liked, and the more he found himself agreeing with her.
Which was likely a dangerous situation, if there was an officer nearby. However, he felt none in the immediate area and the fact that they were the only ones in his area that he could physically see didn't bode well for giving the Corrupted senshi an incentive to deny her claims. As fiercely loyal as he was, Vespa could not deny the truth, and he couldn't hold his tongue. "I haven't taken a single life, and if I can help it, I never will! I fight to protect my allies… I'd give my life for them if I had to…"
Even if he knew some of them to be guilty of taking lives. Even if he knew some were capable of murder. He told himself that it was for a just cause, that in order to defend themselves from the greater threat that was the Moon Queen, some sacrifices needed to be made, and he was certain that many of the officers felt this way too. Not all of them were like Denebola said… surely not.
"They don't do it for fun. They do it because we need all the strength and power to protect us, and apparently some sacrifices need to be made to do that. Just because we have different methods doesn't make us evil…" Vespa said, sounding angry but under that was clear and present desperation, grasping onto something, anything to use against her. He couldn't fight her, not in this condition, and he couldn't hold a philosophical debate with her either. Which meant he needed to consider making his escape, but how? "You think I should believe you when you said you never had any orders. That'd be like you believing me when I tell you that there are no Negaverse officers that aren't crazy… there are, I'll admit, and I don't really like them, but they have my loyalty never the less. Maybe you're right and you never received an order… or maybe you HAVE received an order and choose to ignore it? If thats the case, then is it safe to say that you White Mooners have no loyalty to her, or each other?"
Maybe the Negaverse was wrong? Maybe… there was no secret invasion? He tried to shake the thought from his head. No, they wouldn't lie. The Negaverse wouldn't lie about something like that. "Tch, I don't have to put up with this. We'll never trust or believe one another, so what's the point?"

She resisted the urge to snort as he tried to justify the behaviors of his faction. "Of course not," she grumbled bitterly. "Because there aren't maniacs in the ranks of your allies. None of them get that sick tingling feeling of joy when they rip out someone's starseed," she remarked, sarcasm dripping like venom from every word. "How would I know? I'm not one of them. No, I couldn't possibly fathom that some of them enjoy it." She continued, each word spat like bad food from her lips. "Not like I was one of their victims," she shook her head and let out a bitter, cold laugh.
By now her palms were red, from where her nails bit into her flesh, with holes torn in the fabric of her gloves. The skin of her face was flushed red, with anger and her teeth were clenched so tightly together that her jaw ached even as she forced more words to spill from between her lips. "I know when someone is tormented about a decision but feels like they need to commit anyway. I know because I am that person, one of those people." She isn't looking at him any more, her gaze is instead fixed upon the glass behind him just above his head. She taking out her pent up anger, frustration at almost dying on him and she knows that it's wrong but she is so tired of suppressing it. So she continues. "But I'm also painfully aware that there are people who do things because they enjoy them, who take lives just because they can. Because it gives them power over someone else. They like to play the role of the grim reaper and it is sick, twisted and so, so wrong."
Denebola inhaled sharply, in through her nose and out through her mouth in a small white puff, before lowering her gaze back to Vespa. "Your faction has numerous amounts of those people and it's disgusting but we're the ones in the wrong." She laughed, a bitter laugh that sounds more like a gargled screech than a laugh. "If you don't care for them, then why align yourself with them?" She asked. The contempt in her features was gone and instead she looked down at him sorrowfully. "If you don't agree with what they're doing and how they're doing it, then why stand beside them?" Her anger was diffusing, unwinding and curling into sadness.
"We aren't bound to the Moon Queen because there isn't one. Not one that is tangible, alive. We are bound to our stars or planet and to the earth because we are a part of both." Her voice steadied. "Most of us come out to fight because there is a war going on and innocent people at risk. At least, I do." She sounded so, so sad.

Though his eyes were hidden behind the bug-eyed, multicolored visor, it was likely that she couldn't see the anger in his bright green eyes, but with the way he grit his teeth and his brow crinkled, it was fairly easy to guess what emotion would be flopping out of his mouth when he shouted at her. By now, he was so angry, it blocked any and all sense of logic in his brain, and when that happened, there was no filter between what went on in his head and what came out of his mouth. "Don't get sarcastic with me! I've seen my own officers do things that I'd never imagine doing myself... I've seen them unleash youma in a confined space against senshi and civilians! I've seen one of them skewer another senshi with a spear, just to make a statement to the others, with not an ounce of remorse or regret in her eyes!"
He'd never forget such a scene. He only had a glimpse of it thanks to that other senshi's attack, but he could never forget just how cold Mica was, just how stone and frigid she was when she took that senshi's life. As incriminating as it might have been, though, Vespa still spoke out for her, for the others he worked under. "But she wasn't laughing. She wasn't getting some sick pleasure out of the one she stabbed, nor the horror from the others. She was doing her duty. She was eliminating the enemy, as we're all told to do... not once did she enjoy it!"
To Vespa, it was a duty, once that others fulfilled far better than he ever could. But, just as he defended Mica, he knew that... there were others that fit Denebola's description. There were others who seemed to enjoy the power they were given, who thrived on ripping starseeds. It was one thing to be dutiful and take pride in that duty, but it was a completely different matter to be so consumed in it that they appeared to be sadistically enjoying themselves. They existed... whether Vespa was going to willingly acknowledge it or not. "And what makes your side an exclusion? Since you're on your high horse, can you really tell me that there aren't others on your side that don't take pleasure it what they do? If they exist on my side, then they exist on yours, too, I bet. Neither of us are exempt from that..."
Thus far, Vespa had not run into a single one, but he was told horror stories about the Blood Moon Court. He shivered at the mere thought of such a group that ran around and he didn't bother trying to hide that. When she openly questioned why he was aligned with them, he answered truthfully. "They chose me first. They found me, as pathetic and unworthy as I was, and they offered me a chance to redeem all of my past sins. Maybe they were desperate to take me in, but obviously your court wanted nothing to do with me, so... maybe a sense of gratitude for giving me a purpose and a sense of loyalty."
Once again, there was another that claimed there was no Moon Queen, and by this point, Vespa was just getting annoyed. If there was no Moon Queen, then what was the point of all of this? He had enough for one night, and he tried to pull himself back to his feet, despite his twisted ankle. There was one thing that the two of them could agree on, at least, and he wasn't afraid to admit it either. "Some admit there aren't innocents in this war, but... I don't really agree with them."

She had been accustomed to seeing the signs of anger as it bubbled because it was an emotion she was all too familiar with lately so she didn't miss the tell-tale signs of his. Still, the fury the accompanied his words hit her hard enough that she moved backwards, physically shielding herself as though he was suddenly going to lunge at her just to make her shut up. The tension between her shoulders relaxed when a physical attack did not come but she remained tense as he hit her with a slew of angry words. She listened, trying to make her expression one of indifference even as her anger tried to resurface, bubbling up from her stomach and into her throat. She swallowed any angry response that tried to break free and forced herself to listen.
Even though she wanted nothing more than to turn and stomp away she forced herself to stay. Leaving in the midst of a heated argument would be childish and weak. Denebola convinced herself that she was anything but weak.
"I never said my side was exempt," she responded frigidly. She had not forgotten about the Blood Moon Court and their inhumane ways of dealing with the negaverse. They had taken things to the extreme, they had blurred the lines of moral ambiguity and look where it left them. "I do not make excuses for my fellow senshi who have committed crimes as dark and evil as yours have but," she paused to let her mismatched eyes stare into his visor, "ironically enough, I think most of them have..." she stopped again, to laugh bitterly "Ended up on your side. Chaos's side." Ares was a prime example. "We all have good and bad in us. We have two sides clawing at each other in an attempt to gain control but the side we feed wins. From my experience, most agents feed the dark side." Her dark side had tempted her more than once, but she fended it off. Could he?
"In my opinion, the senshi that act in a manner similar to the Negaverse deserve the same treatment. They are no better." Never had she been more grateful that she had not joined the ranks of the Blood Moon Court when it had been offered to her. "They are monsters too." Sometimes, the senshi of dragonflies viewed the world very black and white. And then he explained his reasoning for aligning himself with chaos and she sighed.
"How can you say we didn't want you? Were you told that we didn't? That you were useless and unwanted?" She was frowning again. "You are not your past," she mumbled watching as he tried to pull himself up. Reluctantly, she extended her hand to help him. "Maybe we wanted to save you the grief of participating in this war." She wished, countless times, that she had never been awoken. "Let me help you up."

Vespa was preparing himself for her to deny his accusations, but hearing her openly admit her acknowledging their existence definitely took him off guard. His anger, though still present and not quite quelled, was slowly being dominated by confusion, and it was enough to make Vespa actually listen. Because she was right- he had defended the actions of his officers, whereas she made no excuses and stood her ground. It was a simple concept, he simply failed to comprehend the depth of such an understanding...
Hearing of their fate, however, struck a chord of fear within him, and he couldn't hide it either. That part he didn't know about, and once again, his own ignorance would be his downfall here. She claimed there was good and evil inside everyone, but Vespa simply had a hard time believing that, and he wasn't afraid to show it. He let out a sigh and glanced down, before admitting to her, "You say that, but you don't honestly believe it, do you? If you've really seen the worst in my organization, then you really think there's any good left in them?"
Or good left in himself? He didn't want to ask that because he was certain he already knew the answer. To hear that there were monsters on the other side didn't help as much as he thought it would. It simply meant that, regardless of who found him first, of who gave him a chance to defend himself and his home, that he was a monster in someone's eyes. It was such a strange feeling, but it had to be right, even if he himself didn't understand it completely. It did, however, kill all notions of a fight within him this evening, so at least there was that. Once again, he'd return home a failure. So what else was new?
Her logic seemed sound- maybe they were trying to spare him from being dragged into this, but just as quickly as he was giving in to that idea, another darker thought came to his mind, and he shook his head, even as he tentatively accepted her assistance. "If that's the case, then why do they awaken children? Why them, and not me? If anyone should be spared from this, it's them..."
With her help, he was back to his feet, but he didn't feel any better. In fact, he felt a whole lot worse, and it shown, as there was no fire or anger in the Wasp senshi's form. It was hard to look intimidating when one was balancing himself on a single leg, like a wavering flamingo, and Vespa couldn't even laugh at himself. "I can't choose to sit out now. Maybe you get that luxury on your side, with having no guidance or watchful eyes on you, but in the Negaverse, I have duties to fulfill. Even if I don't agree or like them, they have to be done. Even talking to you like this is probably going to land me in a lot of trouble... as well as it should. Heh, some loyal soldier I am, right? White Moon didn't want me, and won't be long before the Negaverse does away with me."

She considered his question carefully, her lips pressing together in thought. "I believe," she paused, biting the inside of her cheek as she turned her head to face him, "that they once had good inside them." Another pause as she sighed. "But they let their demons consume them and lost the internal war between light and dark." Perhaps the ginger had been reading too many novels on the good and bad of humanity. She was beginning to sound too philosophical. "Not everyone can be saved," she lamented, casting her eyes to the icy pavement. "And I believe those that give into their demons, like the officers you have witnessed. Like the one who tried to claim my life..." Twice. "Do not want to be saved."
How those that wanted to be saved could be saved, Denebola did not know but she believed there had to be a way. She had to believe that good would always triumph or else she would crumble. When she had become so preachy, she did not know but she couldn't help but let the words pour from her lips.
He brought up the chibi senshi that plagued the streets of Destiny City and her jaw clenched, teeth grinding harshly upon each other as she shook her head in bitter disgust. "The cats that awaken them are fools. Children have no place in war." She was fond of certain chibis, that much was true but not once had she ever believed that they should be awoken. "I blame that stupid 'moon princess' from the future." There was so much bitterness in her tone she could taste it. "They weren't around until she showed up." She heard the princess had disappeared. Good riddance. "Cat probably thought they were doing the kid a favor, because they usually awaken senshi when they're in need but they're wrong. So, so wrong."
She extended her other arm in an attempt to help steady him. He looked like he was in too much pain and she doubted his ability to travel far. Would he get to safety by himself? The moral good in her told her to offer assistance. "If you could, would you leave them? I don't imagine that living in constant fear of punishment is pleasant." She was chewing on the inside of her cheek now, an action she'd likely regret later. "Let me help you, not home but somewhere safer...where you aren't left alone, hobbling in the winter night."

This was not a situation that Vespa wanted to be in, but it was one that he had no chance of escaping now, not with his twisted ankle. It was hard for him to even acknowledge the pain he felt right now, in lieu of Denebola and their conversation, and all of the mixed feelings it was churning inside of him. He knew he shouldn't be listening to her, that though she was kind to him that she was still the enemy and that all of this could have been a clever ruse to trick him. Perhaps she was sent by the Negaverse to test his faith and by letting her talk and get these ideas into his head, he was failing, but... he couldn't ignore her. He couldn't prevent her words from planting those seeds, and given how shakey his grounds were, they were fertile and allowed them to blossom, much to his own dismay.
"Maybe... you're right. But..." Vespa tried to speak. He tried to counter her statement, but he couldn't. Because she was right. Could be possibly be saved? Had his own demons won already? Was there anything worth saving? He slammed his eyes shut and tried to wince away that thought, and the change of topic to the child soldiers offered a good enough distraction though the topic itself wasn't much a comfort for his conscious either. "Moon Princess from the Future? I don't know her, but whoever she is, I don't think I like her. It's already bad enough we're involved in this, but children..."
How old was that one that Mica slain that night? She seemed so young. Was she a child? Vespa didn't want to think about it. He didn't want to think about anything, because it all confused him. He... shouldn't be having this conversation, with her, or anyone. He needed to get out of here, before she implanted anymore crazy thoughts into his head. At her offer, he shook his head and actively tried pulling himself away from her, reaching for his crystal and contemplating calling for assistance before she planted anymore thoughts into his head. "It's not pleasant, but... that's just the way it is. I can't leave them, nor will I. Even if they're wrong, they took me in when your kingdom passed me over... and I can't betray them like that."
He didn't mean to snap and he was afraid he would invoke her wrath again, but he knew he had to get away. Before these thoughts consumed him. Before one of his allies came and misunderstood the situation and attacked her. He didn't want to fight tonight. He didn't want anyone getting hurt tonight...Nuxaz Sorry for the delay. Can't believe I went through another computer like that. :l

"You keep saying you can't," she stated, letting him pull away from her. If he didn't want her help, then she wasn't going to force him to take it. "Not that you won't. You have options," she stopped because she wasn't quite sure where she was going. She couldn't offer him salvation, because she lacked the power or resources, so where could she go with this train of thought?
Maybe salvation couldn't come from her, but she could offer hope.
"There are always options, even when you don't think there are." She stepped back to give him space, he clearly wanted to be away from her. She wasn't going to impose herself on him any more. "I don't know what those options really are," she admitted, offering a weak condolence smile, "but I'm positive they're out there." She rocked back onto her wedged heels, trying to think of anyone one she knew who would be able to give her answers.
She drew blanks. Despite her years as a senshi she still lacked proper contacts, maybe this could be her opportunity to change that. She'd spent months with her thoughts muddled and cloudy, she needed something to focus her mind on to keep the darker thoughts at bay. Offering help to poor Vespa could be that.
"I could find out." She sounded determined, hopeful. "If you wanted. Every one deserves a chance to be saved." Once.
