Phury: *Struts around the forest looking for something interesting* Come on Sis, we need to find something to prove to Papa that we're grown up enough to go hunting on our own! *She was determined to do just that, she was proud to be a kalona, she may look a little different from her father but she was sure it was simply because she was a female, her mother was different too after all.*
Payne: *Chuffs at her sister and just looks around, Phury wasted so much energy on talking, how boring it must be to want to fill silence with utter nonsense... whatever, she would stand by her twins side, together no one would stand a chance against them. She had even been practicing her 'scary face', and Papa said she looked mighty fierce, something she was very proud of.*

Jesenya: A soft sigh is the only sound a pale gold colored mare makes as she views the destruction of what she considered her only personal fruit tree. Nothing could be salvaged. With another sigh Jesenya turned away from the painful sight and began walking to the next nearest place where she remembered food was.

Phury: *Pauses when she hears a sound and hisses at her sister.* Do you hear that?
Payne: *Nods and looks around also, even as she lowers herself to the ground, her head wings folding in on her head and her tail curling around her leg as she inched closer.*
Phury: *Copied her sister and together they moved towards a strange wingless and hornless wing, ok, so the lack of wings wasn't unusual, Riverio and her mother didn't have wings after all... but no horns... that was just strange, and every instinct roared that this creature was prey. She leaped out of her hiding place and grinned up at the larger horse.* I'd stop right there if I was you... make it easier on yourself.
Payne: *Rolls her eyes and sneaks around the mare before slowly shuffling forward and growls.*

Jesenya: The mare snorted in brief surprise before eying the two minute creatures. They were ordering her to stop...why would she want to do that? The duo had nothing on her and for a moment Jesenya thought about merely pushing her way past the pair. It was unlikely that they could do anything to her. Common sense won out and she gave each a careful glance. "Why should I stop? I have other things that I must tend to today. I cannot be delayed."

Phury: *Huffed at that* Do you not know what we are? We are Kalona... you would do well to listen if you hope to leave here in one piece. *She glanced at Payne and then back at the mare.* Lucky for you we have our sights set a little.. lower.. today. *She quirked a brow* I heard there was a wolf pack around here, have you seen them?
Payne: *Rolls her eyes and the huffs as she steps up and butts the mares leg with her horns.* Ignore my sister. *She finally said.* You should stop because we are fearsome creatures, and if you don't we shall attack you... *she grinned, a rather eerily feral looking thing.* ...and do not let our lack of size deceive you.
Phury: *Nods and grins* Yep! We've got horns and are not afraid to use them!

Jesenya: Oh, this was just too easy. Did these little so-called kalonas realize that they'd given her an easy out? How easy would it be just to admit that she'd seen the wolves and point the duo in a direction that was opposite to hers? Jesenya looked each tiny mare over before arching an eyebrow. "Are you sure you are Kalona? You don't seem to match the description. As for your wolf pack, hmm, I think I recall hearing pack song the other night."

Phury: *Rolls her eyes* That doesn't answer the question.
Payne: *Chuffs again and then growls low* We are sure. Do not be an ignorant mare.
Phury: *Really loved her sister attitude when she spoke. She grinned.* I wouldn't annoy my sister if I was you... she is rather lethal. Approaches and snaps towards her front leg.* Maybe we should have some fun Payne, this mare could be fun to mess with.....
Payne: *Nods in agreement*

Jesenya: This duo was a strange pair. They weren't Kalona and the uni mare was dead certain on her decision. However they were behaving like kalona. At the snap from the one nearest to her Jesneya rolled her eyes and cocked her leg forward. "You really don't want to do that. I am not entertaining the thought that I would have to heal any injury that you might incur from me defending myself."
As she finished speaking Jesenya lowered her horn briefly before looking into the one that spoke of her answer not being useful. "The answer I gave is helpful. If one is able to hear pack song, it must mean that one is within a certain range of the members of said pack."

Payne: *Snorts at the very idea and huffs at her sister before butting her head against the mares leg again and baring her teeth, they weren't as sharp as he fathers but she assumed it was because she took after her mother in that regard.*
Phury: *Huffs at the mare and snarls, squaring her shoulders in an effort to make herself look bigger.* I've heard them myself, their call echos.... *she says as if everyone should know that, rather like a petulant child but she would never admit that to herself.*

Jesenya: At the words from the darker colored mare Jesenya rolled her eyes a little. How could one impart logic to others if they didn't want to listen. At the precise moment that she was going to use to educate these smaller in stature Soquili she felt the lighter one butt her head against her leg again for the second time. At the best of times Jesenya was rather patient under duress but these two were quickly pushing her past the breaking point.
With a sudden motion Jesenya lowered her head and butted the pale mare in response. She made sure to keep her horn out of harms way as she attempted to deliver a blow that might stun the paler mare. "Look, I said I heard wolves so I heard wolves. I cannot think of a reason why I would want to find them. With your size I could only imagine what a pack of wolves might do to you."

Payne: *Huffed and found herself pushed backwards... that would leave a bruise! The mare had bruised her! She growled at that, showing off a line of perfectly flat and white teeth. She didn't care, it would still hurt if she bit hard enough! And she planned to do just that... plus she had horns! On her nose and her head! She wouldn't let this creature show her up, how dare she try and show her up! And in front of her sister. Turning to look at her sister she nodded, knowing her twin would understand the signal as she growled low again.* "Our size? Perhaps it is you who needs to learn a lesson." *Her words were low and hissed even as she snapped her teeth and leaped forward, her goal was to grab the mares precious tail and pull... or more like yank. And yank hard! If that didn't work she would be happy to head butt the cow until she drew blood. The very idea almost had her licking her lips in anticipation, her father had told her about the pleasures of blood. It was part of the reason they wanted to seek out the wolves, she wanted to taste their blood, the blood of another predator. Yes, that would be far more appealing than the deer and rabbit they often had for dinner, they were prey... and prey tasted weak.*
Phury: *Growls alongside her sister as she watched the mare push her back with her attack. It made her angry to see anyone harm her sister, and her head wings opened wide and flapped to show just how frustrated she was. She saw the symbol, and for once didn't speak, didn't advertise her intentions as she too opened her mouth and pounced in the mares direction, her target the mares mane. Together they could pull the mare to the ground, prove that double trouble more than made up for their lack of size. They were kalona! Could she not see that! They deserve the respect and fear that came with their breed...and they would show this mare! For now the wolves were forgotten, her full attention on this silly creature.*

Jesenya: The mare huffed silently as she observed the reactions from the pair after she'd butted the paler one away from her body. She had warned them, both of them quite clearly, that she would defend herself if pressed to attack. There was no remorse in her expression as she moved to pass the duo. Perhaps they would learn a lesson in size differential from this encounter.
That thought flew out of her mind just as she felt the double impact of two sets of teeth yanking on both her tail and her mane. Was it folly that had her dismissing her opponents earlier? The weight of two bodies, albeit smaller than hers, attached to both ends caused her briefly to stumble. Her footing remained though as she fought the synapses of pain firing through her body to her mind. She couldn't be distracted, not now. The mare whinnied loudly before spotting her tree again. Perhaps she could use it to her advantage. It seemed a long distance away and Jesenya labored with each step she took but she needed to reach the tree if she had any hope of persuading this demonic duo to release her and be on their way.

Phury: *Was pleased that their attack seemed to be working, even as she found her hooves dragging slightly on the earth. She hissed a little and dug her hooves into the earth as best as she could. Unfortunitely her rear hoof got hooked on a root and she stumbled, she didn't let go though even as she fell to the ground. Forced to let go as her body hit the ground she hissed and shifted, using her tail to hit the mare that loomed so closer. She was mildly aware of her sister acting.*
Payne: *Saw her sister fall and tried to drop her body as quickly as could to the ground as she put all the weight and pressure she could in an effort to bring the mare down too, she had no idea if it would work but would always try....despite her size that was something she could ALWAYS be proud of, she would ALWAYS try! And this was her sister she was defending.* "Back off!" *she hissed to the mare, even as she stabbed towards the creatures rear leg with her horns.*

Jesenya: The weight on her mane disappeared as the darker one of the duo found herself tripped up over a root on the ground. Free from that onerous sensation of being dragged down on her mane she was able to turn her head to the side to stare down the pale mare still attached to her tail. The sensation from the paler one's actions of attempting to pull her down were irritating to say in the least.
The sensation of horns pricking her rear leg brought forth a new feeling: rage. Jesenya had had enough of this mistreatment. She raised her head to stare down the darker female that had let go of her before promptly letting her back legs fold in on themselves. If the pale one did not let go and get out of the way she'd find herself in a world of hurt. It probably wouldn't be the wisest move if they were smart enough to pick up on what she was going to do, but Jesenya just wanted them to hurt as bad, or even worse than what she was experiencing right now. Her voice was cold as she spoke, "You are the ones to attack me and you are telling me to back off. Fat chance of that happening now."
