Hannah sat atop the concrete roof with her back pressed firmly against the brick retaining wall along the edge listening intently as Shangri-la explained the ins and outs of the war, who and what to avoid all the while absentmindedly petting Sheena.

So much information at ones was a bit dizzying but she did keep a mental tally of key points.

Avoid the park - check
Avoid Chaos - check
Beware of youma - whatever those are - check
Don't let people see you power up - check
Don't go out on patrol alone - che...wait

"How can I not go out alone if you're the only one I know?" she inquired. He was a doctor right? Which probably meant he had odd hours and long shifts at the hospital so she couldn't exactly bug him... could she? Hannah traced the tip of her finger along the edge of Sheena's fuzzy ears as she held the guardian cat close for comfort and warmth.

Acrucis’ ears perked up at the mention of other senshi and knights. Naturally they wouldn’t be the only two, but still the thought of meeting others was quite exciting. With a nod of her head she replied “I’d like to meet them someday.” The more people she knew the more she could help with her renew. It seemed to help alleviate some of the discomfort from both Shang and Sheena from the battle with the evil cat which made her more eager to find others to assist as well.

Shaking her head indicating that she wasn’t cold, Acrucis replied “I’m okay,” though she’d admit she much preferred her coat and pants to her current attire, sharing body heat with Sheena helped a bit to fend off the chills. He was right though she should be getting home; to be honest she probably should have been home a good fifteen minutes ago but she wasn’t about to say that out loud. Instead she rose to her feet all the while still cradling the kitty in her arms. “I’d appreciate that thank you.”

“I’ll see you soon!” Never expected to say that to a doctor before let alone mean it. But he wasn’t just a normal doctor now was he? No, unlike his predecessors he actually tried to connect with his patients and put their needs in understanding first, he was also a super hero of sort. Doctor by day, protector by night… how cool is that? Acrucis waved goodbye to Shangri-La before turning around and looking over the edge I wonder if the jump down will be as easy as jumping up She wasn’t scared of heights, no, she was scared of the fall. Steading her nerves she took in a deep breath and took the leap of faith descending to the ground below.

“Yeah” she nodded her head in confirmation. “Well, kinda.” Acrucis hadn’t really compared his aurora to her own. “I noticed the difference between his and yours though.”

When she was wearing her normal clothes she hadn’t felt a thing. But when she powered up there was a startling presence that hadn’t been there before. Aside from the ominous feeling she got from the kitty shade; both Shangri-La and Sheena felt warm some how? A silly way to put it but how else do you explain what she felt.

“It’s kind of like.” she paused obviously self conscious about what she was going to say next. “This will sound dumb, but it’s like coming home to fresh baked cookies. Your aurora’s are both sweet and inviting and I feel safe around you two, but there is a subtle difference in feeling. Kind of like how a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square. I don’t know if that made any sense.” If her life were like those anime cartoons on TV there would no doubt be a gigantic sweat mark hanging above her right about now.
