Jack yawned and shifted in bed, he didn't want to get up. However he knew that his father wouldn't take kindly to him getting up late, so the fourteen year old reluctantly rolled and opened his eyes to check the time. Only to find out that his clock wasn't there. He was not in his room and this was not his bed. He sat up quickly and looked around panicking as he tried to figure out were he was.

It took he a moment to remember the events of last night and how he had ended up joining team rocket after they had kidnapped him. At least he wouldn't have to worry about his father hitting him for being late for breakfast anymore. Jack yawned again and looked around the room it was mostly empty except for one other trainee, who was staring at him after his crazed outburst.

Jack immediately drooped his gaze to the floor and felt an embarrassed heat rising in his cheeks. Luckily it wasn't long before the other left and Jack was left alone in the room. The blush faded as Jack sat on his bed wondering what to do next, he supposed he would just wait for Xander, the grunt had said he would come get him.

Jack nodded and stood up running his fingers through his hair a few times as he made his way over to Xander. Luckily his hair was short and didn't get tangled much so he didn't have to brush it to get it uncontrolled.

He noticed the bulge in Xander's jacket as he got closer. It made him a bit curious but, he didn't feel that it was his place to ask what it was. After are there are a lot of things people keep in their jacket pockets and its rude to be nosy.

Jack followed Xander down the hall, now that he was fully awake unlike the night before, he realized he didn't have any shoes with him. Hopefully he would get a pair to go along with his trainee outfit.

He didn't mind that there was going to be a small selection to choose from. After all he never really got to chose what to eat. It was eat what he was given or starve, which had made it so that Jack wasn't really a picky eater. As long as it was eatable chances are he'd probably eat at least a bit of it.

Jack followed Xander along like a puppy trying to memorize the routes as they went. It wasn't long before they made their way to the cafe and Xander Zoomed off. Jack stood there for a moment before heading over to the food places and looking over the selection they were offering.

He grabbed a few waffles, some plastic silverware and a glass of milk. Before moving out of the way of the other people who where trying to get food. Having obtained his food he was unsure what to do next and stood there with a confused expression on his face as he looked around the cafeteria.

Jack nodded and followed Xander to the tables. The teen hesitated for a moment before siting down and placing his food on the table. He wondered if Xander had eaten all ready or if he just didn't eat much in the mornings.

Jack cut a pice of his waffles and eat it as Xander talked. Twenty minutes was plenty of time to eat so Jack took his time and sipped his milk. His eyes followed Xander's hand as he moved the grape to his shirt and it peeped. The boy blinked, since shirt as far has he knew didn't make noise when you put things in them it seemed like Xander had an animal, most likely a bird in his pocket.

Realizing he was staring Jack quickly dropped his eyes and focused on his food cutting of another piece of waffle to eat. The waffles were warm, just out of the iron and they were nice, fluffy and delicious.

Jack looked up again once Xander started talking to the lump. He continued to eat while watching the thing in Xander's shirt shift around fascinated. From the way it moved it didn't seem to be a bird. The blue wing that popped out seemed to confirm, as most birds don't have claws on their wings. But then you could never be sure what to expect with pokemon. It seemed likely that the bulge-creature was another one of Xanders pokemon.

Jack finished his first waffle and drank some more of his milk as he watched the zubat climb out of Xander's pocket and onto the table. Although he only manged to catch glimpses because the bat pokemon kept shifting the markings on the wings looked pretty. Jack fidgeted with his fingers on the glass of milk for a moment before speaking up. "She's part of your team?" He asked assuming from the name that it was a girl. He wondered how many pokemon Xander had, Kotetsu, he had mentioned a Tigra and Abby the new one meant he had at least three. That seemed like a lot of pokemon to take care of.
