*~::[2-5] Okina City Outskirts::~* [Stage 2 Finish Line]This is it...where the whole shebang ends...if you are an Intermediate Wimp. But if this were Mamoru Hayase, do you think he'd stop at simply being the best of the middleweight chumps? No, he'd take out his kendo stick and he would beat you...and beat you...and beat you some more until you could barely stand up...and then he'd beat you until you cried uncle! Just as Kazushi about that, because I remember him telling me about the time he cried...
...
Err...anyway, this segment of track is a near-straight shot from the station to the finish line of the Intermediate Track at the base of the Okina Hillside on the outskirts of town. If you are in the Expert Track, however, you'll take the left along the hillside onto the Okina-Inaba Line towards Inaba itself. Can't promise you won't run into any demons, demon-users, summoners, shadows, persona-users, or other assorted freaks once you're that close to Ground Zero, but hey, at least you might be able to outrun them on these bikes.
...
Best of luck, Experts! You're going to need it...

  Haoul Yamakaji And Kanade Tachibana
Haoul managed to break free of the girl, pulling out ahead with another comfortable lead. It'd take nothing short of a catastrophe for him to lose from here. The path ahead was closing, and their finish line was in sight. "In. the. Bag." he mused to himself, with a dark grin. Kanade flinched as she was forced to decelerate severely, right near the end of the track. Glancing ahead, the red haired figure had an insane lead, and it would take nothing short of a miracle for her to catch up. She tried to speed along, tried to catch up, as she pressed up against her bike. She was so close, but yet so far... Quote: Kanade Tachibana: Haseo Class Casual Bike. Lionheart Tires. Haoul Yamakaji And Kanade Tachibana
And like that, he was able to ease to the finish line, turning his bike around. "And that's that." Haoul grinned, waiting on the girl to catch up. He stopped his bike, and stepped off it, smirking. Kanade let out a deep sigh as she pulled her bike over, leaning down. "Looks like you win.." she called somberly, glancing to the side. She'd been far too cautious....and as such, she'd lost it. Haoul smirked, before patting the girl's head. "You're not ready for the big leagues." Haoul called, before getting back on his bike. "Come back and Race me again....when you can keep up." And with that, Haoul drove off into the moonlight, content that he had still won the race, despite his own screwups early on. Kanade let out a sigh, before getting back on her bike. "Maybe next time.." she called, before driving off, quietly. Next time, she'd do better... Hopefully. Quote: Haoul Has won! Saiga GirikoSaiga managed to get back into the groove of her bike, picking up speed again. The man had pulled ahead of her, and was starting to take a comfortable lead in the race. "Keep it going.." she muttered to herself, as they came up to the turning point. While she wanted to just do a straight shot out of there, there was still one third of the race to drive through.... She took a left along the hilltop, and moved into her town of Inaba. Last Leg.. Quote: Saiga: Speed: 4 [Current Rate(as of this post) 55] Matsu-Class Speed Bike: [Roll 3-10 instead of 1-10 on the first segment of the race] Lionheart Armor; Lower enemy's Defense. Saiga Giriko, and Kanade TachibanaSaiga kept driving right along, speeding handily down to the turn that would normally end the intermediate course. However, like before, she took a turn away from the course, and glanced back, seeing if the silverette would follow her. "Looks like I'm doing pretty good this time.." she muttered to herself, as her engine roared out, letting Kanade know which way to look.Kanade herself had been taking the path a lot slower now, even as Saiga puled way ahead. She had been playing it safe, and honestly... "This feels...Good." she said, enjoying the feeling of the stiff breeze against her. She had been so anxious on the previous race at this point, and had lost the race to the red haired figure. Though, as it was now, she could..enjoy it, having forgotten all about the stakes that were imposed. She was having fun.... "Maybe sometime I'll bring him along.." she muttered, before turning the path, heading into Inaba where the girl ahead of her moved. It was coming up on the end of the race, she could feel it.. Ƞix Gallen This was bad.. So very bad. Nix was getting further behind Gin and at this rate it would be near impossible! She had to keep trying though and try to catch up and eventually pass him! She could always challenge him to a race later though.. Quote: Matsu Class Speed Bike: Roll 3-10 instead of 1-10 on the first segment of the race! Pochi Muffler - Roll 2-10 in second part of race. Faustus Necromonium Faust continued along the roads, weaving in and out of the pathways, and coming up to the outskirts of Okina. There was a straight shot,w where the race could have ended....But if he knew how things would be, they'd be taking the path on the left. The Biker-gang guy continued to motor on, putting the pedal to the metal, and Nix even was getting into it. "I feel like the odd man out." he muttered, as he hung a left, continuing along the path, before they'd turn into the hometown... Inaba "Hopefully, Yosuke'll do better here.."

"You just came because you thought it sounded like a good time!" "Maybe if you got lucky, you could be a hero." "Well momma told meeee, when I was yoouuung..." Yosuke huffed heavily as he tried not to run out of breath, although he'd probably run past that point a while ago. "Sit beside meee...my only soooon...and listen closely, to what I saaaayy..and if you do this, it'll help you, some sunny daaaayy..." His brain had probably broken a while back, but he could still keep his courage up at least, right? "And that Senpai you were so sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!"

Nonito Nekata, aka Jakken the [False] Kuzunoha "Ho...huh? Get ready to witness the power of a true summoner elite!"As the finish line approached for the other races, they would notice a distinct lack of...Nito.
...Somewhere a ways back he had foolishly made the mistake of summoning his Grumpy feline ally and it attached itself to his face, making a wreck all but inevitable. He struggled along, though, and as the finish line neared his opponents would see not the handsome, youthful face of their summoner opponent...but an armored ball of fur still clinging and scratching, and the occasional spray of crimson from the long claw scratches it left in his poor, pale visage.
"NIAAAA HELP MEEEEEEEEEEE!" was the anguished cry everyone heard as his bike continued past the line and off into the distance...presumably somewhere that his assistant would hopefully find him and forcibly detach the cat from him as it was now...
...Hopefully. Otherwise, some rice patty between here and Inaba was going to have a new resident very soon.Quote: 61 Total Speed 1/10 this Segment

Eiji "Gin" Mishima The race was nearing it's end, and although Gin had to fall back near the end due to the unstable driver who'd ended up ahead of the pack (a real pack of racing motorcyclists probably would have 'helped' him to the curb...Gin was inwardly glad they were all amateurs testing out these new Kirijo Steam Bikes), he knew that there was a chance to finish well and, god willing, ring in a victory as well as long as Tezuka slowed down without the help of a wall or something large, life-ending blunt object. It was just a hope really, because of the big lead, but one he'd definitely push for until the bitter end so that he could hold his head high and speak proudly of the bike that he worked so hard to maintain.

Tezuka Rembrii, Forgetful Junior. Lost, yet to be found. Tezuka let out a loud wail as he continued to drive, the throttle on his bike continually being pulled. "Gahhh!!! Somebody hellllllllllp!" he cried out, as he continued to gun the throttle, coming up on the finish line. They were on the outskirts of the town...He wasn't going to hit anyone...No, the worst thing that would happen is that he'd get thrown from his bike and D... ..D..... He swallowed loudly again, a loud gulp coming from him. "D...D...Die.." He slowly eased off of the throttle, his other hand shaking wildly. "J..just gotta...S...S..Slow down.." he called out quietly, as he started to gently squeeze on the brake. Gently....gently... Somehow, his bike finally relented, and as he went from an insane speed down, he was coming up on the end. Slowly....Oh so slowly...He managed to calm his bike down, and pull up the end of the line. His steam bike slowed to a halt, as he breathed a loud sigh of relief. "Phew...I'm...not dead..." he called, his whole body trembling in fear. It had been...rough...Scary...and downright tiring.....And yet.. "Th..that was FUN." he called out, still shaking and uneasy....but relieved that it was finally over. R..right? ??? Nanjou, Unknown #1 Biker "If I'm not Number 1, then I'm nothing."This was the end...disappointing as it was. He pulled up to the finish line behind everyone else practically, skidding his bike sideways just beyond the line to remove his helmet and nod confidently towards those who had bested him this time. They had won...he had lost. He had to make good on his promise now to each of them.
"Looks like you got me. You're better on bikes than I thought. And since I recognize your talent, I don't mind sharing some of my company's parts with you," he nodded again, this time back towards the skyline of Okina, "Go pay a visit to Matsu when you get the chance and tell him which of the four parts from my bike you prefer. Tell him I sent you, Kei Nanjou of the Nanjou Corp. Muffler, Armor, Engine, or Tires. I'll have them ship you a set for your bike. After all, you won...it looks like today, I'm last. But don't expect it to go this way next time..."
Putting his helmet back on after a moment, he waved one last time to the competitors and skidded back off onto the road, gone to who-knows-where. It had been a good race...for them, not for him. But the next time he'd come back better, stronger. And it wouldn't be so easy to get the better of him, then.Quote: 55 Total Speed KN - 1 Street Tires [2-10 on 5th section of a stage] Winners: Tezuka, Gin, Nix, and Nito
