[Stage 2 Cont...]This is where it gets really tough; Downtown Okina is a cramped maze, not like the spacious and modernized streets of Iwatodai. ...Seriously, that city is huge, but how many times was I walking down the street back in HS and noticed around me more than 5 different people on the roads? It was practically never, right? Well...that's not what Okina City is like at all! It's less populous, but the streets are much more packed with people. Even when we try to tape them off, there's always some business guy all "Hey, you can't do that! I got work in five minutes and this is gonna make me late!" and I'm all, "Hey, bro, I'm doing a thing!" and he's all, "Hey, go do your thing somewhere else!" And I'm all... "If I could, dude, you know...I would!"

Intermediate races are tough. Especially in this section. If you can make good time through here, then you might finally impress me. Because, you know, you weren't impressing me before. Score a top segment time and pick me up some drive-thru, then I'll be impressed.

Haoul continued to drive, having to slow down, and make some sharp, none-too-careful turns. He was losing speed again, and as he glanced up on the horizon, it didn't look like it was getting any easier.
"Don't look now, but I'm gaining on you." Kanade taunted, having picked up a bit of speed with her more careful driving. Just a little closer, and she could...
Haoul scowled, before revving up his engine, aiming to leave her further back again. He'd been at the head of this race for the whole time...He wasn't about to hand it to her at the last second!  Saiga GirikoSaiga wavered a bit on her bike as she moved, having to focus more on avoiding any vehicles. As she came up on the downtown area, she internally cringed.
It's even worse up here.. she thought, as she fought to keep her balance on the bike. It was getting harder and harder by the minute, and the man following, and then passed her, she doubled down.
"Come on...don't fail me now." she muttered, starting to gun the engine as she tried to pick up speed, trying to regain her lead.  Saiga Giriko, and Kanade TachibanaSaiga had chuckled as Kanade seemed to get more fired up, following her at a brisk pace. She couldn't let her lead go that easily though, and as such, she continued to rev up her engine, flooring it as they weaved through the maze that was the downtown Okina area. It was getting tricky again, but Kanade was a good space behind her, so she had good chances of still coming out on top.
"Come on, Don't let Shu down now." Saiga called back, not sure if she could even hear her at this point. Either way, she kept driving along...Kanade continued driving along the path, weaving into the maze-like streets as she glared into Saiga's figure from afar. She was getting far away, and yelling something....
She gripped her bars tighter, digging into them as she drove faster and faster, aiming to catch up to the girl. She wasn't gonna lose to her like this... Quote: Roll for Saiga, then Kanade Saiga: 42+ 7 Kanade:34+ 3

 Ƞix Gallen Gin was STILL ahead of Nix but she was gaining speed. Her icy eyes narrowed as she smoothly worked her way through the maze, trying hard to gain the lead once again. Even as he sped along, the gap between him and the others didn't seem to lessen, watching as they kept speeding right along, ahead of him.
"I have to admit..he's really good." Faust admitted, as he did his best to try to catch up, as they moved to the downtown area. He was going to have to be careful if he wanted to maneuver the tricky maze of buildings and people without hitting someone.
"I'd imagine most of us are going to lose some speed here.." he spoke, trying his best to keep moving, and catch up. Quote: Matsu-Class speed bike. The engine continued to sputter as Yosuke put his foot down and kept pressing against the road, basically forcing his bike forward at this point to keep it from stalling out. There were flowers in his hair, and dings all over the bike...woah man, if his dad knew the kind of money he blew on this thing and the condition he'd gotten it into right now, he would have been so ashamed as a man! He didn't know how many pay checks it would take to repair it...ohooo, why?

Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "Damn, you're really good! We'll see how you handle these tight corners though!" Gin actually smirked as the others continued to put the pressure on as they entered the thick of Okina, especially that girl, Nix. It was rare to see someone with that kind of fire, someone who was able to tear through the world with such abandon and at the same time retain so much control! There was a fire burning there, and he had to admire it, but at the same time he wasn't going to wind up looking like a chump. He'd give it his all, and prove that he was just as capable on a bike as the rest of them...and then he'd let them taste the smoke from his wheels when he started to peel away, too!

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Tch...hey, calm down, or you'll end up going off the road!" Gin could see a kid keeping neck and neck with him, but the problem was this kid didn't look like he was in full control of his bike. If he didn't calm down, he would go right off the edge of the road eventually, or fail to notice a sign and end up going a** over head across the finish line and end up in a coma; if he didn't hit one of the other riders instead. Gin wasn't sure whether to slow it down for the kid to pass, or to speed up and blow him out of the water...but either way, he wanted to make sure there were no bike-to-bike collisions, or someone could end up dead. He wasn't stupid enough to break the oldest rule of biking, because it wasn't about maybes; if you tried to play chicken, you'd both wind up on the pavement.

"Ho...huh? Get ready to witness the power of a true summoner elite!"Downtown Okina CIty was a sight to behold once you were inside of it; the buildings were tall and crammed together, like a regular urban area! It made you feel like...you were in Tokyo, but without any of the personality or the colors or the style or...scratch that, it wasn't really like Tokyo at all now that he thought of it. Not that he could remember being in Tokyo much except for that time he passed through after leaving the village on his current mission. He had met Nia somewhere nearby when she caught up with him to start convincing him to come in...but she had come with him, instead. He was happy about that, now that he thought of it. Doing everything on his own would have been terribly lonely.

Lost, yet to be found.
He apparently pulled on the throttle a little harder than he thought, because the silver haired girl seemed to vanish from his side...replaced by the rugged-looking man. His moment's peace wouldn't last though, he knew it.
"Please..please let me be safe." he muttered to no God in particular, clutching his handlebars as he continued to drive. Not to win, not to defeat everyone...but merely for survival.
"I..I mean...That doesn't mean let everyone else get hurt! I..I'd never wish that! Just...just.."
He let out a loud sigh, as they passed through the unfamiliar town.
This is just so...complicated.

"If I'm not Number 1, then I'm nothing."Faster...faster! He needed to increase his speed and make one last major push if he wanted to compete any longer in this race! His current rate wasn't cutting it, and he knew it...his name, his parts, his reputation were on the line! And though it wasn't the same as losing a battle or a corporate takeover, he still wanted to come out on top no matter what he was doing!
