If driving through the town made him feel free, then bursting out into the countryside along the Trans Okina Line absolutely made him feel liberated! Getting out of the city for a chance and into the hills and grass all around him made him feel as though nothing could get a grip on him, tie him down, or otherwise keep him from living his life free and fun and easy, all the things that he was hoping for. Glancing behind him, he could see that some of his competitors had faltered on the last level of the Beginner Course, but there was still plenty of time for them to catch up to him before the end. He had to stay focused if he wanted to win...although, if Nix did catch up to him, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

She probably wouldn't hear him if he called out to her now, but he was looking forward to the chance to talk to her again soon.

Gin could practically hear the Bee Gess 'Stayin Alive' playing behind him as he got close enough to reach out and touch the back of Nix's bike. He wasn't even passed her yet, let alone Tsuyoshi, but now there was still a chance, and with the momentum from the last leg of Iwatodai he had no intention of falling behind again. "Look out Nix, I'm not going to stop!" Gin declared as he pulled to the side a bit to avoid getting their two bikes too close, before revving on the engine again. He would reach the finish line, and he would o so as fast as possible; it was what he was born to do, all he knew how to do! And if Ms. Death on Wheels intended on bowling him over, and claiming her first race, she'd have to do better than she was right now!

Out in the open road on the Trans-Okina Line, it was easy to see just how long the track that they were running could actually be; it was nearly an hour and a half by train from Iwatodai to Inaba, and they were going to be making the entire trip on their bikes today. It was actually something of a thrill to be riding so long, so fast, with worthy opponents trailing him on every side. Nix and Kiki he had already known about, but the green-haired girl and the pinkette were certainly no strangers to their bikes as well. He had to keep pace if he was going to win...and he wanted to win, for certain. Revving the engine, he attempted to put a little more torque into his next leg of the race...and if he was lucky, he could gain some more ground as he went.

And out of Iwatodai, and into Okina. She had been taking it far too slow for the whole race, and constantly kept shifting between the back three of the pack. One moment she was in the lead, another she was ahead.....
It was hard to really get a grip on the racetrack like this, though her engine roared to life as they started.
"Come on..." she called to her bike, as she tried to pick up the pace, and close the gap between her and the massive lead that the red man, and Nix had on her. As the others approached though, that list continued. Everyone had rocketed ahead of her, and she was now trailing massively.
Well, this went to s**t quick.

This was nice. The more speed she got, the more she could feel her heart racing. Getting out of the city was a nice change as well. She felt she had the space to really fly! Ah...if only she could control her bike well enough for that. ... Oh! Heeeere she goes!

As a good draft blew him forward in the race, he had saw Nix who was unfortunately the recipient of a racing battlefield accident. All he did was grin and move forward.

Tezuka Rembrii, Forgetful Junior, And Tatsumaki Kikai, Tech-savvy Senior
Tezuka wasn't exactly moving around at the speed of sound, but he wasn't dragging either. He kept moving steadily, driving along as they moved to the Trans-Okina line.
I'm doing good...So far. he thought to himself as he continued to drive along, trying his hardest to keep his lead..even as the two were gaining on him.
Tats staggered on his bike again, as the silverette passed him up, starting to clear the gap between him, and the leader. He gave a pleasant smirk at this, as he held at the flash drive again.
I see what you mean here.. he thought lightly, as if talking to a person, before he continued driving along, continuing the race, but now starting to relax. He didn't need to win this race...He just wanted to have fun, yeah?
