[Stage 1 Finale]This is where the best meet the rest; Beginner-level races end here, with the winners earning the right to say that they are the fastest of the slow...and the losers earning the right to lock their bikes back up in their dingy garage slabs and try to forget the public shame and humiliation of failing to excel in the manly field of biking. Trust me, better men than you have failed these races. You've got nothing to be ashamed of...

  Haoul Yamakaji And Kanade Tachibana
Haoul was forced to slam on the brakes when he was near the edge of the Bridge, slowing down considerably, and almost getting flung off of his bike. He could see the girl catching up on him with this, as he kicked his bike back into gear.
"Come on...Can't be ******** up like that." he snapped, before revving up, and continuing on out of the Iwatodai, passing the finish line....for the Beginner course. But they were going for an intermediate one...
Kanade smirked to herself as the man's foolish weaving caused him a near miss, costing him precious time, and letting her catch up to him. She kept her pace up, weaving through the bridge, and moving towards the outskirts of town. She was starting to feel better about herself, keeping her pace up.
"Keep it up..." she mused to herself, driving along. "Halfway there.." Quote: Kanade Tachibana: Haseo Class Casual Bike. Lionheart Tires.  Saiga GirikoSaiga continued down the bridge, leading out of Iwatodai as the man started to catch up to her.
"Tch..." she sounded, having to slow down a bit to keep from running into a car, before she passed along the beginner's finish line. If their race was minor, it'd be over at this...but she merely kept up, driving on out of Iwatodai, and zooming along.

 Saiga Giriko, and Kanade TachibanaSaiga grinned as the girl started to play it safe, before coming around the corner, and passing her up.
"See ya!" she called back, as she rocketed past the Beginner's finish line, and continued on. Kanade wasn't going to get off with ending the race that quickly, and getting her answers, no~ sir.Kanade furrowed her brow, and leaned down into her bike as Saiga pulled ahead, watching her zoom on past the line, and up to the next part of the course. She did her best to rev the engines, and catch up, hoping to get ahead of her. Though, she couldn't help but wonder just what brought this on. It was...kind of strange for her to act this way. Saiga always seemed a bit, down to earth..
"I shouldn't focus on that now..." she thought to herself, shaking her head as she continued on. "Gotta focus on the race.."

Eiji "Gin" Mishima  Now that he was breaking away Gin let out a laugh, a bit of a premature one but nevertheless a deserved victory cry. Unless he blew it right at the end, right now as he saw the end of the first part of the race coming up, he could claim that he'd pulled through to the best of his abilities and hoist a figurative trophy high. But he definitely lauded his competitors too, and hoped that they were having as much fun as he was; and hopefully, a little less success than he was.

Faust was starting to gain a good bit of momentum here, even if the others were still leading, he was closing in.
"My my my.....This is quite the show." Faust chuckled lightlly, hearing Yosuke's moans from behind.
"Oh good, you're alive." he sounded with a chuckle, as he continued along, trying to catch up with Nix and Gin...And then Yosuke.
"Oh wow...." he added, impressed with his senior's catastrophic [if incredibly time efficent] shortcut. He was back in last again, but with the wind blowing in his hair, and everything just being so..delightful. Quote: Matsu-Class speed bike. [1-10 becomes 3-10 for the first segments in races] Lionheart Armor, Tires, and muffler.  Ƞix Gallen After being passed by Gin and having Yosuke right next to her, Nix decided to try and regain her lost speed. Which went rather well but she was still behind Gin! This racing business was turning out to be a lot more fun than she realized.. She would definitely try again. "Well, this was short.." Haoul called, as he tried to take it easy, and make a safe end to this crazy, yet short race. The brown haired guy...Really needed some lessons. Maybe after this..  KisaHer pace had been surprisingly steady thus far, despite the fact that she was relaxing this time around. Hmm. Oh, well. It was all fine, in the end, though she might just try a long-distance race next... that could be a fairly fun way of doing things, too, and more than anything else... she just loved her bike. Eiji "Gin" Mishima Kai felt the bike even out underneath him as it hit it's zenith, the closest thing he could get to flying without a pair of wings, and for a moment he felt like he'd entered another world as the road seemed to expand before him. This was the last chance to take the opening, to score the victory...he had to take it, or he'd have to congratulate the unknown number one biker on becoming a name on everyone's lips. He wasn't sure what an Unknown king would do with all that popularity.
